Flash cookies? (Pay $ 5)

all I need is a script that will add a cookie when the page is loaded.

and check if the cookie exists before it is added.

This is so when someone looks at the header of my site it will play only once and when they click on the following link it will not play the vid again.

Take a look at SharedObject.
You can give your $5 to a charity of your choice...

  • Why Flash cookies are not deleted the first time I'm leaving Firefox?

I am running XP, Firefox 16.0.1 and Flash Player 11.4.402.287 and have Firefox configured to 'Clear history of Firefox closing', with 'Cookies' (among others) checked "settings to erase history. I also have Flash Player configured to "Block all sites to store information on this computer."

As I understand it, from Firefox 4 and Flash Player 10.3, have Firefox configured in this way should cause cookies Flash should be deleted out of Firefox. I also understand that even though I have Flash configured as I do, a list of websites that try to plant a cookie Flash is always recorded in the main settings.sol cookie.

I noticed, however, that this list of empty Flash cookies is not removed the first time I have quit Firefox; on the contrary, the list is deleted after launch and then leaving Firefox again.

    Here is a step-by-step example:

    (1) Control Panel-> Flash Player-> storage tab-> storage Local to Site-> button settings confirm that the list is empty

    (2) output, that manage Flash Player settings

    (3) launch Firefox-> go to http://www.Hulu.com/ and click on a video to start playing

    (4) recovery Control Panel-> Flash Player-> storage-> Local website storage settings... tab button-> make sure that the list indicates http://www.Hulu.com/, 0 bytes, block

    (5) leave the Flash Player Settings Manager

    (6) Firefox exit

    (7) raise Control Panel-> Flash Player-> storage-> storage settings Local to Site-> NOTE THAT THE LIST SHOWS AGAIN http://www.Hulu.com/, 0 bytes, block

    (8) leave the Flash Player Settings Manager

    (9) restart Firefox

    (10) raise Control Panel-> Flash Player-> storage-> storage settings Local to Site-> NOTE THAT THE LIST SHOWS AGAIN http://www.Hulu.com/, 0 bytes, block

    (11) exit the Flash Player Settings Manager

    (12) exit Firefox

    (13) stimulus Control Panel-> Flash Player-> storage-> storage settings Local to Site-> NOTE THAT THE LIST IS now EMPTY

Once again, my question is - why this list is not emptied the first time around?

Safe mode disables plugins, I think not, so that you can put those aside for now.

I suggest disable all non-essential extensions. We all tend to accrue to those who are not really necessary. You can do so here:

Orange Firefox button or classic menu Tools > Modules > category: Extensions

If the kernel extensions, you really like the cause of the same problem, then I think you will have to just live with it. Please note that Flash is followed correctly your bet as a block, so I don't think that something is actually stored.

  • Firefox can block 'ieSnare' of the installation of flash cookies?

ieSnare is a "protection device", used by some websites (often the game) that installs a file *.sol (flash cookie) in a file system, supposedly indicating a fraudulent machine. This can then be read by other sites using ieSnare, which often just closes Firefox when it encounters it. It is possible to find and remove the files * floor, but they are resettled quickly when an ieSnare site is registered. BTW - I am not a fraudulent operator...

  • "Flash cookies" are not saved

    Hello

    I use Windows 7 SP1 + IE11 with flash version 14.0.0.176 (language: French).
    New installation.

Flash files/cookies are not saved. It is visible in the flash games: Save do not work.

I found a test on this site: IE10 Test Drive demo: Flash Cookies which shows all saved flash cookies on my PC.

I searched several forum without finding any solution.

For example: I checked in the control panel of the flash, this web site are allowed to save the file. I checked that an "infinite" amount of storage is also permitted. I've seen similar topics, unanswered in this forum. I searched the file from the GROUND, but they never appear.

But maybe I missed something. I'd appreciate a solution!

The fact that the C:\users directory is redirected (link) to another location to do something?

Additionally, some flash apps work at all. A few videos embedded in the information site do not begin for example. Some games are starting to launch, but never start.

    Thanks in advance!

    Joe

I now had the chance to try this and it does not work for me. Seems that my installation of Flash is really messed.

I edited the mms.cfg in C:\Windows\SysWOW64\Macromed\Flash. There now:

    SilentAutoUpdateEnable = 0

    AutoUpdateDisable = 0

    EnableInsecureJunctionBehavior = 1

Mode of enhanced protection in Internet Explorer is not verified.

    I restarted the computer.

And I still have the same problem of creation of the cookie. I get no error message, but the cookie does not appear. Flash seems eager to create directories for the sites I visit, but I have no file cookie in them.

Please try to fix this. Looks like it is time to try to place my junction point and move everything on the C: drive. Maybe, I'll try to uninstall and reinstall Flash once more...

  • AIRHelp and Flash cookies

AIRHelp uses local shared objects (Flash cookies)?  My company is concerned about security.

    Hi all

AIRHelp (which includes as well as a Desktop browser-based help) does not use any kind of cookies (Local shared Object in technical terms) Flash.

    Hope this clears some doubts.

  • I don't want flash cookies removed with the rest of the cookies.

Either an update with firefox or adobe flash player now couples cookies flash with the rest. I like to have my associate internet cookies clear after closing the browser to help save space and destroy what is malicious, but do not want to have my flash game data get allowed in the process. I checked the Security tab in the options, but he doesn't seem to be a way to specify for cookies flash to stay safe and sound; There delete all cookies or delete cookies. Is it possible to have my cookie and eat, too?

Let the cookies expire when you close Firefox instead of using Delete browsing, search and download history on Firefox.

  • Flash cookies

Hello, I'm a web designer from the Mexico, I have a web page in xhtml with 1 element in flash with music in all my pages, when user turn off the music in a page and then switch to another flash page turn on the music, and it is a bit of discomfort for the user, I think to use something like a cookie , but I don't know how to use it, can someone help me? or tell me another idea.

    Thank you

Flash does not 'cookie' as such, but it can create a 'sharedObject' that can store information. So in your example, a user can click on a button to activate the sound and on his next visit to your site the swf would read the local sharedObject and does NOT start the sound

  • avoid flash cookies

I want to stop the flash drive, save cookies for all 1000 of my students in a school. It generates something like the below: -.
    C:\Documents and Settings\sfoster. VEY\Application application Player\#SharedObjects\ASQT8YJL\mail\##F463B9BCE6F87FC3\game.sol

Sometimes it has mail and Exchange in the chain and the depth of the record (20 or more) is so long that I can not remove it.

I need something on the server that disables recording to the #sharedobjects for all students.
    Thank you

This can be controlled by setting up a MMS.cfg file, but not on the server. It should be located on each machine (though you can remove that however you like...)

  • Is the removal of cookie Adobe in the menu dropdown now included in the general delete cookies procedure?

In your latest version, I was able to pull down the additional selection of Adobe cookie deletion in the Tools menu. I don't see in the new version. Has it been incorporated into the General cookie deletion process?
Now use the version 36.0.4, Windows 8.1
    Thank you

That might have been a characteristic of an extension like Better Privacy that helps with the removal of Adobe Flash LSO (Flash cookies).

During your upgrade, remember you by using the Firefox update feature? This can happen when Firefox starts slowly and said to make it less slow, you can update/restore the browser. And an old Firefox data file appears on your desktop. Do you think something like that? If so, that could explain how you lost some of your modules.

  • Can hoe I keep a few cookies selected during the removal of all unwanted cookies?

I want to keep some for banks, internet cookies etc. How do I remove all unwanted cookies?

Under Options - Life private, you can set "conservation rules: use the custom settings for history". Then you can click on the button show Cookies and manually delete specific cookies.

If you often have to delete everything except cookies, you can use an add-on.

Remember that when you delete all the cookies, Firefox deletes also all the Flash cookies. If ever, you delete all of the cookies, you can use the BetterPrivacy add-on to remove Flash cookies.

  • Malware slows down my computer in Flash Player

So my Macbook was slow when running Safari, and I discovered that Adobe Flash player allowed to run malicious programs. I was searching for all the Flash cookies which was stored on Flash and found that some were harmless such as Youtube (s.ytimg.com) and other areas but I had also looked at other areas and I found secure.insightexpressai.com who are suspected of malware and I can feel my computer going more slowly when it appears. I tried to block access to these suspicious areas but after a few days or more, the block has disappeared and that it allows the malware to run again. I went to the Apple store and they told me to use ClickToFlash. I don't want to install this software because I like Safari that way. I also asked permanently remove areas of the terminal, they said I could use Nano. I am running the latest version of Flash player and I do not have my Safari to the latest version. What is your recommendation to keep my MacBook malware free? I would like to consider using Terminal Server, but I have to make sure that nothing will not (maybe useful links to familiarize themselves with the Nano if it is recommended). Insightexpressai.com is also in my cookies from Safari and it reappears after removal, which could be a reason why it runs in Flash shortly after. I went on the Adobe Web site and they offer nothing in terms of aid and it's been weeks and I have no response from message boards. What do you think I should do?

    Try Malwarebytes anti-Malware for Mac:

Be wary of anyone who says "do not use any type of product,"anti-virus"or"anti-malware"on a Mac."  Simply, they do not understand or know of Malwarebytes anti-Malware for Mac.  This software was suggested for use by technicians of the phone Apple support and the genius bar.

When the Adobe Flash Player version 10.3.181.14 was released he installed the Flash Player Settings Manager in Control Panel.  Local storage settings can be managed through this console. There are three options Allow, ask before using local storage and block. It seems that your computer is configured for the second option. The stored data are called asa Flash cookie and like other cookies contains information about your preferences for the display of a particular site. They can be removed in the Advanced settings tab or when the removal of the browser history to the Internet Explorer.

Prior to version 10.3 these parameters should then be taken online by going directly to the global settings page or by accessing it by right click on a flash video and selecting settings(you can still do). Selection of the global settings will open the Flash Player settings manager in Control Panel. In addition, prior flash cookies have not eliminated by using delete browsing history via the Internet Options options or Security in Internet Explorer. Microsoft and Adobe have collaborated to integrate this feature in IE.

As there are too many other factors to include in the topic of this thread, please refer to the following:
