Flash Module updates on Z90SW

If my company is about to upgrade older Thin Clients, Wyse, Z90SW. We have WES7 Conversion Kits for 50 + thin clients, but has not received a software for each disc. Of course, once I try to follow the steps in the Conversion of WES7, one software file that I need in the folder Image of Conversion of WES7 of 4GB_8GB Z90D_S cannot be copied to the CD. I get the error when you try to copy par1.img. "Cannot read the file source or disk" is the error that occurs. So, I think that the file is corrupted. I searched online for the specific img file, but has been unable to find it. Someone at - it a link to the file conversion flash or someone at - it other solutions to this problem?

  • USB-9171 installs as USB Flash Firmware Updater

I just got a USB-9171 with 9401 module.  Try to install it on a laptop Dell Vostro 64 bit WIndows 7. LabVIEW 8.5.1, which works very well with a USB-6212 for awhile is already installed.  I installed the 9.6 NOR-DAQmx that came with the new 9171 and the time of execution of Labview 2012 such as recommended by the Update Manager.  The connection of the USB-6212 he loaded the driver, he recognized in MAX and will work as before.  But plug it in the USB-9171, identifies the driver loaded by Windows as USB Flash Firmware Updater.  The 9171 does not appear in MAX.

How can I get the USB-9171 driver appropriate to load?

    Thanks - Steve

Found a solution by calling the service tech.

    Unplug the USB device.

With the help of MAX, go to tools > reset Configuration data.  This will erase the MAX configuration and restart.

MAX aperture.  Open the Windows Device Manager.

    Plug the device.

In the beginning, I received the ball from Windows saying that it successfully installed USB Flash Firmware Updater.  But then on hold while the window updated Device Manager (it flashed several times), he said the right device (cDAQ-9171) as well as the module I connected on the cDAQ-9171, which is a 9401.

The tech service rep explained that there is a service called Windows device charger OR who must load the appropriate driver, but sometimes the service may stop too soon.

In any case, I tried all the things here before, but what was different this time was seen both MAX and the windows Device Manager open at the same time before connecting the unit (after wiping of the configuration).

  • Adobe Flash auto update on Safari

Today (June 22, 2016), I opened Safari and a popup told me to download Adobe Flash Update. Unless I downloaded, I could not close Safari or even shut down my computer. I was suspicious of this pop - up so disconnected my modem. I could then close Safari and I deleted everything with Adobe in my files. Reconnected my modem and spent in Google Chrome as my default browser. Google automatically updated Adobe Flash so I have been re - install Adobe Reader for Mac on the Adobe site.

Is there anything else I should do to protect my MacBookPro (13-inch, mid 2009)?

    Hello

Make sure that your Mac OS X is up to date.

Open system preferences > App Store, then select updates and then click check now.

Best way to avoid malware or adware is to keep the system software of your Mac up-to-date.

And you can check for updates of Adobe Flash in system preferences > Flash Player > updates > check now

Remember to never download a Flash update from anywhere but the Adobe Web site.

And make sure that the access controller is configured correctly. Open system preferences > Security and privacy. Ensure that: Mac App Store and identified developers is selected. If this box is greyed out, click the padlock icon gold to go forward. You may be prompted for your admin password. When you are finished, click the padlock icon gold once again to close.

  • The fake Flash Player update infects Macs with Shareware

This isn't a question, but just an info > see below:

(I hope), anyone who has used computers for some time must be aware of the ritual without end of update Adobe Flash against security vulnerabilities. Even if you run Flash on your computer, you have probably seen many titles in the media of tech in the years of the importance of keeping Adobe Flash (and his crony Acrobat PDF Reader) updated to protect against malicious attacks.

Then, what better way to trick someone with their computer infected only by disguising it in an actual Adobe Flash update?

It is precisely this that criminals are now, in their attempts to infect the Apple Mac users with scareware.

The first sign you will see that the criminals are looking to infect your computer Mac OS X is if you see a pop-up window as it appear while you browse the web: (photo here)

The beauty of this approach, point of view of criminals, is that the attack is not invoke any software vulnerability or exploit. Instead, social engineering is used to fool the uninformed user unwittingly download and does not perform a fake Adobe Flash version - designed to infect their computer with scareware.

    Hello

No, it certainly isn't a Flash Player update to the official address notification.  If you have the full URL path that generated it, please private message it me and I'll pass it on to the team of fraud for study.

    Thank you.

  • I've always had an Adobe Flash Player update for my frustrating timing Mac users...

I always had an Adobe Flash Player update for my frustrating timing Mac users and have tried to find ways to run the upgrade to multiple users via ARD, but could never find the .pkg file. Today, after a lot of research I found this help file,

    https://helpx.Adobe.com/Flash-Player/KB/installation-problems-Flash-Player-Mac.html

To this is a link to the .dmg file that contained the .app file that had the installer .pkg. The link has been labeled the Flash Player for Safari and Firefox - NPAPI

My question is: can I use this link to get the latest Flash Player .pkg installer in the future?

    Hi wkrites,

The PACKAGE inside the APP as a whole is not intended for distribution, you are referring and will not install some required components.

If you distribute Flash Player within your organization, we offer a PKG Installer to be used by tools such as ARD.  If you have not done so, you need a license to distribute Flash Player within your organization.  You will then receive an email with the URL to visit to download the installation file of.  Please see Adobe Flash Player Distribution. Adobe for more information on the Flash Player licenses and candidate.

The Flash Player Administrator's Guide, http://www.adobe.com/devnet/flashplayer/articles/flash_player_admin_guide.html, contains useful information for the Flash Player deployment administrator within their organization.

  • Flash Player update continues installation stuck at 30%

I have mac os x and I tried to install a Flash Player update. He downloaded instantly 30% and then got stuck. I tried to install several times force closing safari and ensure no antivirus or firewall blocking the update of the download. I also tried to restart my computer. Later I tried using a program to uninstall Flash Player and Flash Player then put it back in place, but the same thing happened again, stuck on 30%. I have no idea what else I could try and what is happening here. What should I do? My computer is a Macbook Air 2013 OS X Yosemite 10.10.2 version

  • Web address of Adobe Flash Player update

I have been asked to update Flash Player and then landed in a Web page to download the update with an address containing "get3.adobe.com". I checked the web address of the page where you can download Flash Player at first by following the link on the home page of Adobe and found that it contained "get.abobe.com". For security reasons, I wish to confirm that get3.adobe.com is an official Adobe Flash Player update site, rather than a well-disguised fraudulent page to encourage users to download malicious software.

You can see that get3.adobe.com is on the adobe.com domain.
