  Also you didn't mention it, but some people are using the system restore which should not be done. It does not remove a Virus.

• Why the button works only in test scene, not test animation?

  Hi all, I have a very frustrating problem with my flash project.

  I have two scenes in my flash animation, each of them has a lot of links and navigation within itself. And there is a button that takes you from one scene to the other.

  When I test scene 2, everything works fine. However, when I test the entire film, scene 2 navigation will not work and there is no error!

  Did someone just thought about what goes wrong?

• Adobe Flash 10.3 works only with Firefox 17.0.1

  I need to use Adobe Flash 10.3 for some reason, and it was working fine until today, when my Firefox itself upgrade 17.0.1. Now, every time I visit a web site with Flash (YouTube and others) the area where the video is meant to be is blank. Any ideas?

  Permit to solve my problem. Is go to the Add-ons section and found that there were two of them for Flash, 10.x and 11.x. I disabled 11.x and things started working again.

  I have CC, I am using the latest version of Flash, but sometimes I need to use CS6 and files in 10.3 and more in this edition.

  Here's my problem: when I go to CONTROL > TEST MOVIE > TEST (with in Flash Professional checked) or command + enter. I get a blank swf file. This will be the case for all files, new or old, that is published AS3 / 10.3 and more.  If I put the target to Flash Player 9, it shows correctly.

  Any ideas? This started when I started using Flash CC 2015.

  I fixed it once by trashing my ~/Library/Application \Support/ Configuration files... but that wasn't the only time.

  Try to do a command-shift-enter instead. Who will use the debug player. There could be security or other issues that are causing something to fail silently. Also, try publishing with swf and html and see if it works in a browser.

  PHP pages work fine in Live view in Dreamweaver CC 20141. Make sure you have a test server set up correctly in your site definition.

  Editing PHP pages in Live View mode is not very successful. It isn't really a problem with Dreamweaver because PHP is a language side server. Therefore, the server must parse the page again whenever you make a change, but save the file until the server can process it again. However, editing CSS to PHP pages works extremely well, as long as you use an external style sheet. The server doesn't have to treat the page again because CSS is just plain text.

• Test movie in Flash professional

  Hello, I did not a lot with flash professional CS5. I create a demo of application 4 framework that stops on the first image and allows the user to navigate to other frameworks using the buttons. I did something very similar before and did not have this problem.  Now with this new project, I created the pages in photoshop and imported on the stage. The dimensions are 1024/768 px.   When I go to control-> test movie-> in Flash professional.  The window appears very low, but the page seems nomal size if I get the top left of the drawing or model. So when I develop the window, rather than see the rest of the design desing to the bottom right floats, because I get the window open to leaving all that white space around the top and left margins.  I've never had this problem before. Does anyone know how to get around this problem?

  

  Have you set the stage size to match the images? From your description, it seems that you have the phase, by default.

  I'm testing the "local testing server" with a file called site_check.php, who works at the root of the folder of the Site Local (C:\XAMPP\htdocs\valsoo\site_check.php), but does not work when the file is within records (C:\XAMPP\htdocs\valsoo\lesson01). Not all the files of work either at the root. ANY SUGGESTIONS?

  That does not surprise me. If you have difficulty with the files could not be found, simply remove a folder will not help. You might have deleted the record sought by the browser.

  Assuming that XAMPP is installed, make sure that Apache is running and then type http://localhost in the address bar of browser to load the XAMPP admin page. Click on the link of the phpinfo() function in the left navigation sidebar and find the value of DOCUMENT_ROOT in the section Apache environment.

  Once you know the correct location for DOCUMENT_ROOT, you should be able to put your files in a subfolder of the DOCUMENT_ROOT folder and define your test server correctly in Dreamweaver.

  You draw this information, or are they drawn on their own?

  Looks like you found the info from Profiler for your files.  You have a mm.cfg file on your system?  If you use FlexBuilder/FlashBuilder of profiling, it can leave behind a mm.cfg file that will do everything the SWF content to information in Profiler output during playback in the browser or the Flash IDE.

  Please see if you have a mm.cfg file to:

  • Windows XP:C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\mm.cfg
  • Windows Vista/7 - C:\Users\<username>\mm.cfg
  • OS x - Macintosh HD/Library/Application Support/Macromedia/mm.cfg

  If you find such a file, delete it or move it to another location.

• 2 of the 4 buttons stop working when test movie

  I have a main menu 4 buttons. They work as expected when enable simple buttons are activated. However, when I press on test movie, 1 and 4 buttons do not work. The mouse does not change States above them, it's as if they aren't there. I've decided to re-create buttons in a separate file, and then try again. All buttons worked as expected when test movie is called. Large. Should I wear then the four buttons in my project and the same thing happens as before. I don't think this is the code, but here's the code that I use for the buttons, in any case:

  OK, I found the problem. The menu was laid out in a circular table above a large sphere. The field was in a clip. The sphere has been on the layer above the buttons. Enable authorized simple buttons the buttons hidden by the square perimeter of the clip containing the sphere to be clickable. However test movie saw the clip by concealing the buttons and their States of success, even if it was transparent. Of course the 2 Middle buttons were poking out behind the top of the clip.

  Solution, move the layer above layer movie clip buttons and hide more and click on States if the sphere appeared on top.

  It works in the DW edit box when I play, but not on the site of linux more.

  Your page is not a valid document type which sends it in quirks mode.

  In DW, go to modify > Page Properties > title/encoding and select a document type that corresponds to your coding skills.  I suggest using the transition from HTML4.  Hit apply and OK.

  Repeat with your other pages of the site.

  In addition, you validation code errors out of 100.  Recent browsers are now much less forgiving of mistakes if you clean up your code.

• Flash CS6 acting strange when exporting in .mov

  First problem: reached the end of an animation, and after clicking on test movie, only she launched a small empty box instead of the movie. It has even exported .swf file, but I can't test it on flash. Then, it would not be exported as a .mov to all, with the error message "could not complete the operation due to an unknown error".

  After the closing and opening again once, I could test in flash and even export in .mov. However on the first try it was about half the height for a well defined reason as 950 x 550 and on the second try, it's just white. After having tried to export it again, it works, but still half the height and crushed.

  By examining similar topics, I think that is something in the library may be corrupted, however I deleted everything I imported since it stopped working and that made no difference. Is it possible to find the updated files tapped to be sure? Or is it something else, I'm completely missing?

  Sorry for the late reply, but it's fixed! This time, I choose 'keep the proportions' with mailbox and it was quite good. But thanks for the help!

What I want to do is to retrieve information from a MySQL database, using PHP and send it to Flash; and in the other direction, the input of information in the database of a Flash form. I want to do a test run Flash for my Web site.

  Could you please someone show me a simple code example (on PHP and Flash) of how to Exchange data? Thanks for your help.

  If you post the code you tried it is not the job for you, a person may be able to help along.

  In addition, your best bet will be to Google search (or these forums) by using terms such as 'Tutorial AS3 URLVariables'.  And if the data is retrieved mySQL tables involves a large number of lines, you should look into having PHP echo Flash data in XML format.  You should look for 'Tutorial AS3 XML PHP' for info on that.

• Plugin Flash seems not work - Twitch, YouTube, etc.

  Despite both the last plug-in for Adobe Flash (17.0.0.169) and the latest Mozilla Firefox update (37.0.1), I seem to be able to actually use the Flash pretty much what it is. It's particularly frustrating because even a few hours ago, I was watching a jerk, liquid flux of Mozilla and then went to bed. I'm not sure as to which is the cause of this problem.

  On the tremor, the browser will freeze for 10-20 seconds until I see a message in the chat service "Failed to load Flash" or something of the sort.
  On YouTube, I get a Script error where I am asked to continue the race, debugging or stop a script entering yt.img.

  I have already uninstalled and reinstalled all Adobe Flash. I also went in Mode without failure of Firefox in which the questions persisted. In addition, I tried to load either site before and after emptying my cache - with no difference between tests. Moreover, already tried to add yt.img to a black list, and while I could load the page stream or video without problem, I could not see the video.
  I use Windows 7 (x 64) and have had no problems with Firefox even during last night.

  For something that seems to have slipped during the night, it's quite frustrating to meet. I will edit this post and attach images in an instant.

  EDIT: Attached images and confirmed that this problem is local to Firefox itself. Adobe Flash seems to work very well in my Internet Explorer (that I used only at the moment to test it).

  Solved by making a total uninstall completely the process

• Flash does not work in FF26, it works in Chrome and IE. I reinstalled FF and Flash several times. I can't adjust the setting of local storage for Flash either.

  Flash does not work on some web sites. I never had a problem before with flash on FF in the nearly 15 years that I've used FF. Recently it has stopped working for some reason any and on some flash sites does not, NHL.com and site of kid Herotopia being just two of them. I updated FF, Adobe flash, the reinstalled version them repeatedly deleted all the files that have been stored on my laptop; that is, profiles, saved favorite nothing that I could find in user accounts and in the local app, low local and roaming data folders. What is strange, is that I can't set the local storage for flash either. When I visit the Adobe site to view the Adobe Flash Player Settings Manager I can move the scroll bar, but cannot check the: allow third-party flash content to store data on your computer. I can't do it on a Web site where the flash does not work. When I try and it changed on any site that it goes back to zero. Not sure if it is a part of the problem.   The other strange thing is that I used to get the "warning: script does not" prompt that displays "a script on this page may be busy, or it may have stopped responding." You can stop the script now, or you can continue to see if the script ends. "sometimes when I would buy on Macy's.com. This is the only site that it happened.
  I know I have only little technical knowledge, but I have tried to figure this out for a few days and do not know what is happening. The only thing I can think is that I somewhere files corrupted causing this problem. I have just updated to Windows 8.1 tonight in the hope that can help, but nothing helped. I would be very disappointing if I couldn't use FF or must go back using Chrome and FF.
