  After hours of reading and checking to make sure I had good things enabled, I did, I gave up and uninstalled the latest version of Adobe Flash Player, they gave me and re-installed and later I had my friend get on Messenger and we tried games and it worked this time.
  For some strange reason when I updated it took me 3 tries before it took. So even if he told me that it has been installed, apparently it wasn't really. Just goes to show you that you can not trust what you see.
  What has really scratching my head was I went to Internet Explorer 8, which I never use more and discovered you can now get Mozilla plug in slip out there and when I did showed that same Adobe Flash Player is outdated but it was to a different version. Not knowing if it would help, I installed a new too and he said it was his understanding that it does not. So I guess you can have 1 version installed on the computer 1 despite 2 browsers different different versions. It becomes too complicated for me. Laughing out loud!

If it's something simple, I can guess through it to help someone but it's my first personal computer for me and is a former first, so I got experience using different types.   While you can get Adobe Flash on the iMac, you can't be on the iPad. There are some browsers in the App Store that will emulate flash, I think that one of them is atomic, or something like that. Do a search on the App Store and you should find something.

  The installer of the hold (as indicated by the screenshots) downloads / installs Flash Player silent mode.  Connection/network latency problems can lead to lost connection.  The full download installers the entirety of the original file and launched once do not make any other downloads in the background.  If you encounter connection/network latency problems, please try to download the full installation programs displayed at the bottom of the of installation problems.   I have a desktop PC and visited the Adobe website and found that my version of Adobe Flash Player is 11.8.800.117.  The table it lists the current version for Internet Explorer 10 as 11.9.900.117, but when I press download it says that kb2880289 is installed.  Some videos have said to date, but only took me on the Adobe site.  Can someone tell me how to upgrade this please.

  The latest version of Flash Player for Linux is 11.2.202.400.  The current versions of Flash Player are displayed here http://www.adobe.com/software/flash/about/. The versions on the page are updated with each new version.

  There is a problem with your installation of OS X. The easiest way, but not the fastest way to fix it is to reinstall the operating system. Unless you are in a hurry or have measured access to the network, it is what I suggest, especially since I don't know if there are any problems with the installation. Please backup all data before reinstalling. You won't need the backup unless something is wrong.

  The below, advanced shortcut if it works, can save you some downtime (and the cost of a download of several gigabyte, if necessary.)

  1 back up all data.

  2. disconnect all external storage devices.

  3. start in recovery mode. Select a language, if you are prompted. The OS X Utilities appears. One of the options is to install OS X. This is not what you do.

  4. This step is only necessary if you use FileVault 2. If you don't know what's FileVault, you use it. Go to the next step. Otherwise, launch utility disk, then select the icon for the volume FileVault ("Macintosh HD", unless you have given it a different name.) It will be nested under another icon of the disc. Select open in the file menu and enter your login password when you are prompted. Then quit disk utility must be returned to the main screen.

  5. Select get online help. Safari will launch. While in recovery, you will have no access to your Favorites, but you won't need them. Load this web page.

  6. triple - click anywhere in the line below to select this option:

  If you see a message that your user name "is not in the sudoers file", then you have not logged as an administrator. Log in as one and repeat this step. You don't have to repeat the previous steps.
