  Flash Player is stored in the following location:

  • 32-bit: C:\Windows\System32\Macromed\Flash
  • 64-bit: C:\Windows\System32\Macromed\Flash AND C:\Windows\SysWOW64\Macromed\Flash

  For Windows, there are 3 types of different players: control ActiveX for IE, NPAPI to firefox and other NPAPI and PPAPI for the browsers Chrome and Chrome browsers.  I'm not familiar with the software you're trying to install, however, most applications use the ActiveX control.  Note that if your operating system Windows 8 and especially Microsoft integrates Flash Player ActiveX Control in the browser and on the other there to install the Flash Player ActiveX Control on these operating systems.

  I don't know why you are having these problems.  Try

  • Download uninstaller from http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/uninstall-flash-player-windows.html and save it on the disk;
  • Download offline installers from http://helpx.adobe.com/content/help/en/flash-player/kb/installation-problems-flash-player-Windows.html #main - pars_header and save them to disk;
  • Close all the browser windows, and then run the uninstaller downloaded, followed by the installers.

  Click the damaged page (compatibility view mode) in one area.  When you use I.E.9, if a site has problems with Flash Player, always first try compatibility view mode.

However, when I do it by following the instructions, I started having problems with my default browser, Google Chrome (OS: Windows 7). Chrome crashed repeatedly, and after many tests to troubleshoot it, I decided that the course of action was to uninstall and reinstall Chrome. He worked without crashing for a week.   I understand that whenever you try to open your HP Deskjet F4440, a dialog box appears indicating that I can not open the program, unless I have download Adobe Flash Player in Internet Explorer and you cannot scan. I'm happy to help you!

  It is possible that there could be a software conflict with Adobe. In order to know for sure I would suggest the following:

  • Uninstall the printer software. Uninstalling the printer software.
  • Clean boot the computer. How to perform a boot in Windows.
  • Re-install using the printer HP install wizard for Windows.

  If this does not resolve the problem, then I would recommend contact the Support from Adobe.

  -Finally, it is my understanding that the latest versions of Flash (Control Panel > Flash console > Advanced tab) allowed to auto-update to the newer versions of the Flash, or at least to indicate a when newer versions were available to install (option I chose). I still get this function runs on any of my systems.

• My Flash Player stops loading and playing to halfway through - Help!

  On my browsers Chrome AND Firefox for Windows 10 (installed on Chrome 21,0,0,216 flash drive) whenever I have a video in particular, the buffer or loading happens to halfway across before it goes to the end and then the video plays only to halfway.

  I tried

  -Cleared my cache of web browsers and history

  -Removal of all websites in Flash Player storage settings panel

  -Restarted my computer / browser / modem.

  -Uninstall and reinstall flash

  -Tried to increase global storage settings (will not save)

  -Contacted the video website and they confirmed there is no problem on the end here and to rub salt on the wound has sent a screenshot of the video beyond 50%

  -The website even gave me another connection to try but it still doesn't work

  I would be appreciated from anyone to help, thanks in advance and good luck.

  The subject is the question. Files with the flv extensions cannot run or be identified. Other software that uses flash player such as Rhapsody, can not find or use it either. It feels like a registry problem. Please, do not waste time suggesting I uninstall and reinstall flash player as I did several times without improvement or solution.

  Yes, this isn't how Flash Player works.  It is not a video player.  You can * write * a video player for Flash using ActionScript that would play FLVs, but this isn't what you're trying to do.

  If you just want to watch a FLV that you downloaded, I'm pretty sure that VLC will get fact.
