• Flash player stutters for 1 second then continues as normal

  Hi all

  It's very weird. I have Mozilla Firefox, IE, latest flash (11.9), Win 8.1 all latest updates. Playback of online video with flash player stutters in a very weird way - even if the video is fully downloaded it stutters during a second irregular and then normally continues as if nothing is happening. This stuttering is similar, as if someone comes to open something on a slow hard drive and allows flash playback stutter for just a second (although I have an ssd that is very fast; the rest of the computers is i7, r9 280 x, therefore a fast computer and modern). This occurs at irregular intervals on both browsers. The video is watchable but it is very annoying. I tried reinstalling about everything except the OS itself. I have disabled hardware acceleration and unlimited money value in the settings of the flash, still nothing. This happens with youtube and other flash videos in both browsers. Of course, other video playback is fine (.avi, .mp4, etc.). It can happen 5 times in 5 minutes and nothing for half an hour and then start again.

  Someone else had a similar problem?

  I have the same problem. It is just happen only with Windows 8.1. My system: Core i7-3770, 16 GB Ram, 256 GB SSD and a stable VDSL2 25 Mbit internet connection. The system is up-to-date. Latest version of flash is also installed: 11.9.900.170.

  Temporary solves the problem, I'm going to under details task manager and set the affinity of the processor for FlashPlayerPlugin_11_9_900_170.exe to 1 core.

  With Flash Version 11.5, the problem disappeared, but it's an old (possibly) version of flash.

  Google Chrome is the only browser without this problem.

  I tried everything. No problem with Windows 7 and Windows 8.0. It is only under Windows 8.1.

  I use the new Flash Player 11 capacity to encode the video codec H264 webcam and send it via RTMP to a Flash Media Server. It works, but the stream flow is not constant. This is why the resulting stream is stuttering during playback.

  I tested it in two ways:

  (A) coding of and by sending the video webcam FMS via OUT-> very smooth playback

  (B) coding and sending the FMS video webcam via Flash Player 11 (affecting all the codec etc is the same)-> playback is stuttering

  As you can see in the screenshots below, entering the FMS bandwidth varies a lot. When you use the inflow to the FMS OUT is very consistent:

  This is certainly the reason why it "stutters" when using Flash Player 11. But I have no idea what I'm doing wrong.

  No idea why bandwidth is not constant in FP11? The camera.setQuality () function should do the job, right (http://help.adobe.com/en_US/FlashPlatform/reference/actionscript/3/fla sh/media/Camera.html#setQuality%28%29)? Is there a known bug for Camera.setQuality when using H.264 encoding in FP11?

  In Flash Player 11, we used the mode of variable bit rate (VBR) to control the frequency. This was changed to constant bit rate (CBR) in the next version, so you should expect much better results.

  You must also use RTMFP instead of RTMP for the uplink. That should significantly improve your video flexibility.

• Flash Player ' scam? Popup of Angelfire server on Mac

  Unlike surf some websites hosted on the server 'Angelfire', someone has the last numbers to get annoyed at popup windows.  Every time when I visit a several sites hosted on Angelfire Server (http://www.angelfire.lycos.com), I keep getting too bored popups asking me to install the latest Flash Player (see screenshot below).

  

  Anyone of you can try to visit a couple of the sites hosted on Angelfire server example and see if you get similar popups like this snapshot above?
