  One of my daughter's friends offered to take pictures of my grandson. I know that they were taken with a Nikon 3100 and I know the shutter speed and f stop but I have no idea of used lighting - I assume that flash bounced off the ceiling. The pictures are sharp, but in most of them, his face is as white as a sheet of paper. He is 4 months old and he has a normal, smooth, pink skin. I was able to make the complexion a little 'human level' by manipulating the the white balance, contrast, exposure, clarity etc. sliders in LR, but the result is not nice to 100%. Is there a a way to refine the results in Ps by adjusting the levels of colors or by any other method?

  An old standby for help faded images is to put a layer of double or two (or three...) on top, with the blending mode set on multiply, you may need to add a mask to keep the open shade.

  You target a player prior to version 8?  If so, to activate the filters, you need to change your target Flash Player.

• Flash CS3 with the old flash files

  I'm using flash to make the files that play other swf files that worked very well problems...
  Problem 1:
  What I have are swf files are a preloader that loads another swf inside file. They play very well until I tried to put them in a html page. This is how they have been all along, in an html page, and they worked. somehow now the SWF (the preloader that loads the swf file) will not play, just white. (example of this is on points following page to the left click down the face with sunglasses on this subject http://www.christykarpinski.com/videos/myeyes.html )
  Problem 2:?
  I tried to make new files with the same preloader model that I had used before, but with newly made swf files loaded in it and he won't play at all.
  
  So I tried to make a new preloader file (found a model online) and used this but it happens just to where I was in problem 1. they work, but not once I put them in the html page.
  Problem 3:
  I tried to make new files flash with the new loading until a former SWF preloader and it won't play properly.   But if I do load a new SWF works fine (except as noted above, not when I put it in an html page)
  
  I guess Im wondering if all this has to do with the help of CS3 now and old files deployed on CS (or could even MX I don't remember now)? no idea at all would be great. any ideas what I can do?

  I got a lot of photos with the crowds in the background. The photos app is grateful to all those faces (a few thousand). Is there a quick way to ignore them permanently?

  There is no 'ignore' for people. You can either let sit them in the section "add people" from the album of the people or add them all at once, then select them all and hide. but hiding people also will exclude all the photos of that person to the memory. If offenders are in the background of a photo you want to use in the memories, you can not hide the person.

  If you use brute force and delete the circle with the face detected from a photo, you end up with white, featureless faces thumbnails in the album of the people.  I did this however and clicking the X on the circle of faces to remove the detected face. Then I merged all of the tiles white album a great person 'delete' and hope a bug fix in a future version to get rid of white tiles. Repair of the photo library does not solve it.

  until the upgrade, if I was looking at an app, weather for example and then lowered my wrist, the next time I was looking at the watch is automatically back to the face of the watch, not the weather app. Now, this does not work and I can't seem to find the setting to choose this behavior.

  On your iPhone, in the application of the watch, go to: My Watch (tab) > General > screen Wake - under the heading 'on screen Wake see the latest App', choose "While in Session".

• I can't find the face of Minnie Mouse on watch OS 3.

  I downloaded and installed 3 watch OS, it seems to work fine, but when I went to select a watch face, there was no Minnie Mouse face to choose.  This was one of the big announcements around the new operating system for Apple Watch it not included?  Or am I just missing something?

  • On your iPhone, in the application of the watch, go to: Gallery face (tab) > choose a dial of Minnie Mouse > press the Add button to add it to your watch.
