  to a swf on the web, use navigateToURL.  for a mobile swf file, use the htmlloader or stagewebview class.

  You can make gifs animated in fireworks, but not to import SWF files to then render as animations.

  Gif images can be imported, but not of sovereign wealth funds.
  Best part of designing your site in fireworks, leave a space for the SWF file, then make flash SWF and place it on your Web page when you are ready.
  Go to flash the publication settings and check the box for the rendering of the .gif files.

  After try inporting this .gif in fireworks file. Could work as you want.

  You are welcome.  I just checked and there is an onLoad parameter you can use in the BODY tag to ignite a javascript function.  I hope that's what this implies, that it is.

  I presented the Whiteboard Tower Defense game well before March 15. Apparently, I have problems he signed.   I have a set of html/swf files that are "well positioned" exactly like a dozen other almost identical files that are served by a hosting site but this game shows an icon of upgrading Flash Player on Foxpro and a blank page on IE.  My client in Flash Player is the most recent and works very well for other files almost identical dozens.  Of course, views of Fla. initiating correctly with CS5.5 Flash itself.

  I'm running out of ideas on what is causing the problem and how to fix it.  Any ideas please?

  Thanks for your reply.  I solved the problem.  This file annoying one is not 'exactly '.  The field of the 'exit' publication settings file refers to a nonexistent record which was a remnant of a deleted folder.  Flash has done it's best to respond wisely.

  OK, I used code snippets in cs5 that catches a .swf online and it shows in the flash file. But it's not exactly what I want.

  Instead of triggering a click control, I want the movie to load automatically. How?

  Also is it possible to get a .swf and import file in a new flash document? I tried all methods but the .wf does not in fact properly. I can't just copy deadlines more that I do not have access to that file all I have is the .swf.

  So either I take of my server or if there is a way to import in flash that actually works. Please let me know because this is the bane of my existence right now LOL

  If you try to import a swf file in a fla file it wll lose his actionscript, so if the file uses one at work, it won't work.  Copy a calendar is the only physically living way a file when another CAR is involved.

  To make the code address the work without click, just take the code off all work calls button and just put this out in the open air (or simply call the function)

  I downloaded a free to use juliuswebdesign.com Gallery (the Gallery) and I am trying to load it in my flash site...

  the gallery now works, if I open it directly (I open the swf file)

  BUT

  When I try to load the external swf file into my website

  then the movie loads... the Gallery poster the poster "loading the xml file" message, then when the XML is loading the message "load image 1/7" screens and only the first image of the charges. "

• Can I create more than one URL link in a single file Flash (SWF)?

  I created a simple SWF Flash slideshow with 5 slides. I was able to relate a URL to the entire file by adding an alpha key.

  What I can't understand is the addition of a URL link to each slide. The SWF file I sused on a website and I would like to be able to click on a particular slide as it's playing to a site or a page that applies to this slide.

  Is there a way or a code I can use to do this?

  You cannot duplicate the instance or function names, so you'll need to create unique names for each one who behaves differently.  If you have a function named 'mouse click '... If you want to have another function to link to somewhere else you must create a new name for this function ("mouseClick2" would work)

  There are alternative approaches, but for now, it will be easier for you to handle.

  In flash, I can easily integrate fonts + strings of characters that I need the menu, export the swf file and then use it in flex.

  I don't see an easy way to define the character ranges in flex. How can I get the values that I need? I read that the format is U + (beginning of range)-(end of range) but where I take beginning and end of the beach of?

  Search for the file "flash-unicode - table.xml" in your Flex SDK installation folder (he sits next to 'flex-config' file)

  "Flash-unicode - table.xml" contains various language of the character ranges that you can find convenient.
