• Flashing symbols on startup: apple logo, circle with slash, folder with question mark

  I tried to delete personal files on my MacBook (late 2008) to trade. During this process, the computer lost some function when deleting some documents; would not open apps but app could bounce constantly once selected and would not restart or shut down, had to manually hold the power button to turn off.

  When I turned it back after a few minutes a blue splash screen came as normal then symbol of Apple but then started blinking circle with slash to Apple to the circle and then to the folder with question mark. This continued for more than 45 minutes + and whenever I try to turn it off and restart it manually.

  I tried the following:

  -Trying to access the disk now command + R to start utility

  -Unplug the charger and take out the battery and put back in

  -holding SHIFT while symbols are flashing

  I can't check what OS I currently use but care I have the computer are as follows:

  -Computer is late 2008 model MacBook 13 inch

  -Model: A 1278 (EMC 2254)

  -Storage: 160 GB

  -RAM: 4 GB

  -Processor: Core 2 Duo 2.0 13

• CC for Flash CS 5.5 Flash symbol to drop or lack of layers, etc.

  I work in a TV broadcast animation studio. I use Flash CS 5.5. I have a freelancer using CC. I also have other members of the team who work in the same files CC using CS 5.5.

  Graphic symbols keep abandon, endangered, or parts are endangered.

  Graphic symbols are characters of animation with arms, legs, eyes, etc.  I created new files with the elements in CS 5.5 with the same result, symbols of corruption. This is the first time I saw several corruptions of symbols.

  It allows to work impossible Flash I'd recreate the ignored symbols, or hope they work later. Many people will use the files in our pipeline, which all have the same problem.

  As downgraded to CS 5.5 is not possible for the Freelancer using CC and we don't have not yet converted to CC in studio is there a workaround?

  I work in a studio of animation TV so years we have seen this exact question during the passage of CS 5.5 CC when you have symbols like! @# $% ^ & * in the name of the coast. We used to use * a lot of symbols but CC will not allow it if we were to change our naming conventions. I found this on the responsible Add-ons of CC, but cannot check if it works.

• Animation Flash symbols and keyframes

  Hello my name is Giovanni. I have a question about the symbols. I have a graphic symbol (a head of comics for example) in a long 200 frames to layer and I create different keyframes to move and rotate the symbol on the stage. Then I go in the graphic symbol and animate part of the symbol, as the mouth and eyes, for 200 frames. So when I get out of the symbol and I check the main layer, each keyframe (that I have to move and rotate the symbol on the stage) the animation inside the symbol start from frame 1 of the symbol.  I mean, the object moves and turn on the stage, but the animation inside the symbol keyframe avery reboot. is not something related to play once or loop, I would like to still animation inside the symbol. Do you know if there are some settings to edit for this problem? Thank you.

  This is probably because each keyframe on the main stage is set to frame 1 so each time the playhead hits a keyframe, the symbol starts above. Delete the keyframes on the main stage and repeat these movements and it will probably work, as long as you have configured in a loop.

• How something to convert to a symbol without turning into a rectangle?

  Hello

  I'm a flash (Pacman) game and I designed a level (the walls). Now when I convert it to a Flash symbol makes a rectangle (there are gaps between the wall you as part of the symbol). This is a huge problem because when I want to test the collision between pac - man and the walls in actionscript it always "hits the wall" because it is inside the object. Is there a way to convert only the walls into a symbol, or are there other solutions?

  I should add that if you place the sections of wall inside another movieclip, you must really a table for them.  If they are the only children of this moivieclip you can browse through them, by targeting the using getChildAt (0) to getChildAt(container.numChildren-1), so you can save you the trouble of storing anywhere manually.

• How can I open Adobe Flash after I downloaded.

  I have installed adobe flash player and he claims that I installed it successfully, but I don't know how to open and use effectively. I only have this shortcut that said Adobe Flash Player.pkg and is a red box with the flash symbol on it and whenever I click on it it brings me to the screen to Setup again. I use a mac (just the regular non-portable one. • The hard drive light

  Hi all.

  I just bought the Acer 7600U-UR24 all-in-one. I've updated Windows 8, updated to 8.1 and updated again. All Windows updates are made. I only installed a few programs now, including Office 2003 and iTunes.

  The problem I have, is what I suppose is the HARD drive, a red light about 3 inches to the right of the camera, blinks constantly, even after shutting down the computer, do not put it to sleep. The flickering is constant, regular and fast not irregular when you work and then do nothing. I tried to restart without result. Today, off, I went and took a shower and returned about 35 minutes later and it was still flashing. I tried to unplug the power supply from the wall and the computer for a few minutes, but he begins to blink once I have it plug it all back in.

  There is also a series of 8 white flashing dashes "pointing" to the power button. Not really a button but a stain on the upper right corner of the screen that you tap to activate it. They are blinking successively from left to right, and then finally by the flashing symbol of power. This continues when the computer is turned off and stops when it starts. Is this normal? It flashes all night.

  I tried the chat with a tech from Acer. She said it could be a static buildup in the motherboard. Asked me to unplug everything, hold the power button for 15 seconds, which you can't do because there is no power button, and then put it all together and turn it on.

  Am I missing something? I'm not new to computers.

  I studied the blinking light that you are curious about. This light is a proximity sensor which will help you easily find the power button. If you place your hand in front of the flashing light, it should be flashing lights to indicate where is the power button.

• G1V01UA-ABA: Blank Screen of Death, Please Help.

  I've had this computer for about four years. He never gave me any problems.  Year last completely off and would not turn on. I scoured every forum, every miracle solution, but nothing. I constantly run across a single problem at all, none of them are exactly my problem.

  White screen, Check.

  Flashing Orange button Wifi, check.

  Flashing caps lock, incomplete.

  I see the time and time again there must be a flashing caps button, but it flashes never for me, only the wifi button. It also flashes symbol of white power on the side of my computer, but that's all. The battery is fine, I need to hard reset it, believe me, I've done about 30 times, I don't have to mash the F2 or F11 buttons, it does not connect to an external monitor, nothing. Please, I beg you. I really need to solve this problem. I went through around $1,000 dollars on replacement computers and it's the only one that I really relay. If you can think of a good way for me to solve this problem which has already been mentioned, it would be apperciated.

  Also, note aside, do NOT refer to support me, because I spent more than 15 hours trying to contact support and never help me with everything that I need. HP has horribile customer service, but that's normal.

• Touchpad suddenly does not work

  I have a Compaq Presario CQ56-202 and suddenly while making a comment in a thread on FB one (very briefly) saw a flash symbol... something with a red on X. It is so short that I didn't have a chance to really see what it was. Have never seen him before. Then I noticed a small red light on the touchpad, and now the touchpad does not work. The mouse works fine.

  Someone at - he a clue as to what happened? What can I do to get it working again?

• Two functions "play to" on click

  Hey!

  I was looking everywhere and can't find it.

  I tried to do the 'menu' button which supposed to open the submenu and hide when click New.

  Could not put just "play" function, because the submenus have their submenus (menu level 3)

  There. toggle() option, but JS are secret for me - I'm able to put it inside my anim, but cannot add a 'fantasy' animation (I want to look like).

  Well well, better would be to add the function "play of the" 2nd which will replace the 1st (in 2nd label).

  It is similar as in Adobe Flash - symbols!

  As in the flash symbols have their own scripts and a calendar...

  So I made a few examples (tested - works)

  (main timeline)

  If we have other animations on our Web site, we can convert entire menu in symbol.

  All in all that was easy. Especially when I've done a few projects in flash... but still little confused on the edge, some things are the same when other totally different (scripts!).

  Kind of new to Flash.  Problems for the nesting of an animation in a symbol, what I have done before without problems. Creates a rectangle, typed a note in it, you leave hits edit mode, broke apart with break out word it would be as drawn object, no need to change the text all in addition, converted to clip, used tool 3-d to rotate 90 degrees on the x axis, created new layer, tire symbol it is again drawing layer positioned with 3-d tool and rotates 180 degrees, created a new layer, 3rd elongation positioned library symbol and avec3-d tool to complete the circle of 360 degrees of rotation. motion tweens 3 on three layers to create an animation of Word on plane turn 360 degrees. Looks like a lot when played on the main timeline. I select the 3 layers on the main timeline, right-click and cut images go to insert and select new symbol, name passes new Flash symbol in symbol-editing mode, click on the first picture in time online choose Paste images and Flash creates a copy of the previous 3 tweens on 3 layers, but when played on the main timeline or symbol editing mode, Middle tween does not show on stage. Has failed 3 times in a row. Tried rebooting, then ran disk utility, then disk defragmented, and then did scan virus and disk, then uninstalled and reinstalled Flash. Test #9 does not work either. Would appreciate advice.

  graphic MovieClips will play in the ide while rubbing the timeline, will not.  both play in the test environment.

• Triangulation in the jargon

  Hi people out there. So is all hid or surprisingly obvious methods in Shockwave 3D to triangulate non convex polygon with n sides? A form of it is called of Delaunay Triangulation, but there are other methods as well. I'm about to embark on a journey to create in the jargon (i.e. potentially in a xTra), but I hope that there is already a solution out there.

  Hey there Hondo. OK, I was able to create an Xtra triangulation, but I can't release the Xtra to the public. What I can do is say that. I used the C code generated by ngaya and Matis based on the algorithm of Seidel. This can be found here:
  http://www.cs.unc.edu/~dm/CODE/GEM/chapter.html. A great resource for anyone who manages the 3D programming is here: http://compgeom.cs.uiuc.edu/~jeffe/compgeom/. I was able to incorporate their code into a Xtra without change in other implementation that linking them. In general, this Xtra enables a set of points counterclockwise (cancels the order if not needles) to return a set of triangles without adding any vertices. This means that for those who are struggling with Nonconvex irregular polygons created dynamically you can send the Xtra the outline of the points and get new traingles you plugin just in your faceList to the generation of mesh. It is rather easy and simple, once implemented and can triangulate a polygon even with holes as long as the input data are trained properly. Unless we create an object in an external program and Director imports I don't know anyway to make otherwise, especially when running.
  Anyway, if someone takes a hit to this public use feel free to ask me about it.

• DeskJet 1220C-flashing by ink symbol - will not print

  Hello!  I would be grateful for any help.  I'm here for the day of the Expert and the hope of assistance.  My Deskjet 1220Cxi printer (large size - 13 x 19) used to work perfectly.  It stopped working earlier and there is a yellow flashing light by ink cartridge symbol.

  I just installed two new cartridges today (black 45, 78) and the light still flashes.  In addition, the print head moves backward a little bit every five seconds or more.

  I just installed this printer on my Windows 7 computer and the drivers are installed correctly, so I can change properties etc., it doesn't seem to be a software problem.

  Windows 7 does not allow me to control the Deskjet 1220 through the Solutions Center HP I use successfully to control my other HP printers.  I do not know that ink which I installed today in the Deskjet 1220 has expired, so I don't know if that is the cause of the problem.  I realize that my new HP printers give a warning message if the ink has expired, and I have to press the buttons to accept.

  Any help would be appreciated.  I have been a loyal fan of HP for many years and have three HP computers desktop computers and several HP printers (even if only my Photosmart 3200 is currently working).
