  Hi all

  Thanks for watching. I have a WP site, and they decided to remove the ability to use Flash files. Indicated for security reasons? So I say to myself that I could park just a folder on my server, with the SWF file and the files tha SWZ Flash Pro generates when posting to this folder on my server.

  My question is the code into the HTML page loading the browser to get a Flash Player or open the flash drive so that the embeded in my HTML page flash file will be previewed to the user. Should what code I use? I found some stuff on the net since 2008. If someone would paste code here that I could copy and paste, and pass on the specific path in the SWZ and SWF file, it would be appreciated.

  Another thing, I undertsand it's the browser that has a Flash Player in it don't? Is this correct?

  Or I have to load a Flash Player in this folder I download with the SWF and the Flash Pro SWZ file generates?

  I don't know whether a question of Dreamweaver, as she vacillates between Flash and HTML code... In addition, I use a WP site for this one.

  It is unlikely that this will happen... Flash is not a html design tool. HTML5 is still in development, making it unlikely to get much attention at the moment anyway.  Same DW CS5 was released without any support for html5, although an add-on for limited support is released later.

  While I have way ignorance of what html5 will be able to do, I doubt that it will come close to having the capabilities of Flash has... which means that there will be a lot of things that don't would not convert simply even if the line was considered.

  Having some problems with (in CS6) recently.

  Use it to create a flash with the link of file HTML file.

  Flash is installed and running, but when clicking on the index file I just get the black box and nothing else in the web browser.

  Tried Firefox, IE and Chrome, all with the same results.

  It worked well on 09/05/16 but the 15th, it had stopped working.

  The play flash file directly works without any problem.

  I took a few minutes. An old yet to Flash projects displays the player controls and does not work. A new export shows no control and does not work.

  Nothing has changed in still (it has not been updated for a long time). Flash (23.0.0.162) and I don't think that has changed. I don't remember when it worked last.

  So I headed to the forum Flash and discovered that it was a new version of flash (5 days ago) which has the default value no local file access. It's a security issue. See this link for the workaround:

  Yes, it is possible to use these files in muse. There are a few steps that you must take in advance.

  1 import the .js files in muse from file > add files to download... (Make a copy of Js file will create in the active tab of the muse).

  2. open the HTML file in Notepad and copy the code.

  3 RETURN to muse and use Insert object HTMl code > insert HTML and paste code copied into the window.

  4. now you must make some changes in the Code according to the imported .js files.

  5. Add "\-assets\" before the names of the Js files in the code. (Look at the screenshot of the example)

  

  Now, if you try to watch it work.

  In case you have used pictures and videos as HTML5 canvas then you need to do the same with the imported file (you must import them into Muse, as we did for the Js file) and will also have to make changes to the location of the file (video, image) in the JS files (must add "\-assets\" before the name of the file).

  Please let me know if you have any doubt with the steps.

• Server does not display the flash swf/html files

  I have a set of html/swf files that are "well positioned" exactly like a dozen other almost identical files that are served by a hosting site but this game shows an icon of upgrading Flash Player on Foxpro and a blank page on IE.  My client in Flash Player is the most recent and works very well for other files almost identical dozens.  Of course, views of Fla. initiating correctly with CS5.5 Flash itself.

  I'm running out of ideas on what is causing the problem and how to fix it.  Any ideas please?

  Thanks for your reply.  I solved the problem.  This file annoying one is not 'exactly '.  The field of the 'exit' publication settings file refers to a nonexistent record which was a remnant of a deleted folder.  Flash has done it's best to respond wisely.

  Yes, you can create pictures as objects and assign a code for them to open html pages.  If you use Actionscript 3 you wish to study using navigateToURL() for linking to web pages.

  I developed my current site in Flash and now it move to a HTML/CSS based site. I would like to get a look like/feel. If possible, I would like to know if it's even feasible before embarking... (if not, then I need to sit down and do a re-design)

  Jim, I don't know if you've already tried this method. But, I personally tried it and I got a 80/20 success, according to what's keeping my SWF.

  Limits:

  • Only the subset of SWF8
  • Only AS 2.0

  a web-based flash application cannot detect the users directories.  You can use the method to browse class' filereference to let the user to locate a file in a directory that the user wants.  Flash can then recover the file name and type.  but, as mentioned previously, flash cannot determine the file directory.

  I have a total Flash site that has worked well for the past two years. The site is too view my portfolio of many Flash animations to potential customers so it doesn't get a ton of traffic. My question is, sometimes he runs slow on older computers. I have the site and the examples run with loadmovie. It'd be better if I did html and so each sample to it's own page?   If you read through the section loadMovie help documentation that it explains pretty much everything you need to know, including the use of unloadMovie() to unload movies you load with loadMovie.   But if you use this same 'container' for all the movies that you load, then another load in this container replaces one that was already loaded, so you don't need to unload...

  1. I have a flash movie embedded in a html page. When the user clicks a button in the movie, he should open the new in the CURRENT or EVEN NO window in a new tab (leaving this window open).

  Hello. I have a problem I noticed, especially in internet explore. Sometimes the flash movies that I have incorporated are not displayed in their correct location. It works fine on my laptop on all browsers, but other people have had problems. I don't know if it's because they have more large screen resolutions or something like that. Is there a reason why a flash animation would move out of place?

  It would not Flash, it would be your HTML / CSS. I suggest to use SWFObject to embed. http://code.Google.com/p/SWFObject/

  It's the old code.  What I always do, is leave Flash generates the code by publishing an html file when I publish the Flash swf file.  I then copy this code and paste it into the web page.
