    You have the Plugin Adobe Flash installed version?

    There are two different versions of Flash, ActiveX for IE version and the version of the plugin used by most other browsers.

    1. download the Setup file of Plugin Flash version here:

    Adobe Flash - Plugin version.

    Save it to your desktop.

    2. close Firefox using file > exit

    Then check the Task Manager > processes tab to make sure that firefox.exe is closed.

    {XP: Ctrl + Alt + Delete, Vista: Shift + Ctrl + ESC process tab =}

    3. then run the Flash configuration from your desktop file.

    4. run Firefox and test your installation here: https://www.adobe.com/software/flash/about/

    • On Vista and Windows 7, you may need to run the installer of plugin as administrator by starting the installation program via the context menu if you do not get a UAC prompt for permission to continue (that is to say that nothing seems to be happening).

  • How to boot from a USB - Portege R500 flash drive

    Hello

    I have a Portege R500 running Windows XP, presented about 2 years ago and recently contracted a virus that has infected some of the startup files as the minute I connect it disconnects again, even in SafeMode! The quickest way I can think sorting is to reformat with the XP Recovery disk and reinstall windows.

    Problem! The CD/DVD drive on the computer laptop stopped working earlier, tried almost everything in the thread on this site, but had no luck.

    So my plan was to boot from a USB flash drive and do it this way. However in the boot parameters I only have the options of HARD drive / floppy drive / CD-ROM / LAN, none of them work. Does anyone know how to boot from USB flash drives?

    Any help would be really appreciated

    Hello

    As far as I know, it should be possible to boot from USB FDD

    I don't know if you would be able to boot from a USB flash drive, but it of certainly worth a try m

    Generally, you can try to press the F12 key when the laptop is turned on.
    A start menu should appear on the screen, then you should see all bootable devices.

    PS: as far as I know the USB startup was available in ToshibaHWSetup (tool of Toshiba which changes the settings of the BIOS under windows OS.) So I guess boot from USB must be possible.

    Do not disturb (coming down / up) even a letter / word

    Due to levels of zoom browser and personal user settings, there is no possible way to ensure an alignment of text on the web, unless you use images of the text.  Of course, this isn't an option because images of text cannot be indexed by search engines, screen readers or translators of language.

  • You can use html text in flash cc html5 project type?

    I'm trying to dynamically change the font color of different words within a dynamic text field.

    I have tried both these lines of code below. do you have it can fix you my code please?

    I use cc flash and html5 project type. This was possible in previous versions of flash.

    This. Logger.Log_File.htmlText = "< font color = ' #000000 ' size = '-1' > ' + MyGreatNumber + ' '+' < / police > < BR >" + this. "»»» Logger.Log_File.htmlText;

    This. Logger.Log_File.htmlText = ' < style p = "color: #ff0000" > ' + MyGreatNumber + "< /p > < br >" + this. " Logger.Log_File.htmlText;

    easeljs documentation: Please note that text does not support the HTML text and can only display a font style both. To use several styles of fonts, you will need to create multiple instances of text and position them manually.

    to resolve, change the text in the js file, where it is relatively easy to use same rtl text.

  • How can I incorporate a font to text in Flash CS4?

    Hello guys I am building a website on flash for my first time and I have a problem. When I see my project to another computer, that I do not see the fonts I used. Flash replace them with others. I gues this is because they are not installed in the system, that I am using.

    How can I embed fonts in a text? Thank you very much for any information you have to give me...

    Using the Embed button, this is how you could incorporate a font for a dynamic textfield. You can specify which characters to minimize the weight of the embedded font, but you can incorporate all.

    If you use a static textfield, then you can break it down into crude graphics and which will ensure the police will appear as you wish.  To do this, simply select the textfield with text already inside, and then select Edit-> Break Apart, modify-> Break Apart.  You will not be able to subsequently change the text as it is drawn.

    Another way to embed a font that I have little experience with is to store it in the library.  To do this, in the upper right of the library is a small menu icon.  Click on that and in the menu that appears, select a new font.  An interface will appear when you specify a name for it and the police... The name tell Font 1, but you can change it as you wish.  When you want to apply this policy to a textfield, you need to find this name in your policy held with an asterisk next to it.  So if you named Font1, in the font drop-down selection you would look for the Font1

    Hi all

    Thanks for watching. I have a WP site, and they decided to remove the ability to use Flash files. Indicated for security reasons? So I say to myself that I could park just a folder on my server, with the SWF file and the files tha SWZ Flash Pro generates when posting to this folder on my server.

    My question is the code into the HTML page loading the browser to get a Flash Player or open the flash drive so that the embeded in my HTML page flash file will be previewed to the user. Should what code I use? I found some stuff on the net since 2008. If someone would paste code here that I could copy and paste, and pass on the specific path in the SWZ and SWF file, it would be appreciated.

    Another thing, I undertsand it's the browser that has a Flash Player in it don't? Is this correct?

    Or I have to load a Flash Player in this folder I download with the SWF and the Flash Pro SWZ file generates?

    I don't know whether a question of Dreamweaver, as she vacillates between Flash and HTML code... In addition, I use a WP site for this one.

    Thank you for the code.

    In addition to checking the box - you need to select/highlight the "html wrapper" to see its output locations, you have "flash (swf)" highlighted in the image.

  • Style of Image Slider to include HTML text: how?

    I'm trying to insert an image on my page slider. So far, I've tried a few different sliders with problems.

    Anyone know

    A good Jquery Image Slider that allows text HTML next to the picture on a slide? (Like MSN home page)-no caption or overlay. You are looking for a white background with linkable HTML text on the left (40%) and the image on the right (60%) - all on one slide. Scroll four similar slides.

    I guess that the solution is not so much the slider, but it has to do with the creation of a separate div or rule / class and apply?

    Thanks for any help.

    In general, all wide CSS styles of your site should go in your external CSS file.  However, some specific page styles can be incorporated into the head tags.   It is up to you.  If you plan to have slideshows on more than one page, go ahead and put the cycle-slide show styles in your global CSS file.

    resizing border-box:-box of is a CSS rule that makes the box a bit less complicated model to work with.  I always add box-sizing to all fluid layouts now.  Chris Coyier describes why we need below:

    http://CSS-tricks.com/box-sizing/

    The prefixes of the seller are needed for some (mostly level 3) CSS properties to work in browsers that have not quite caught up with them yet.  The most common vendor prefixes are:

    -moz = browsers based on Gecko and Mozilla/Firefox

    -webkit = browsers Chrome/Safari and iOS

    o = Opera

    -ms = MS IE

    Thank you

    Chuck

    Hi all

    Flash Pro CC 2014 (v14.0.0.110) is now available for download via the Web App Cloud and Adobe Creative site.

    We have added the function Export SVG to Flash Pro with this new version. You will now be able to export the contents of the vector of the image selected as an SVG image, which can be opened directly in a browser and even imported into Adobe Illustrator.

    Option to Export SVG are accessed through the parameters of publication as well as via the Menu file > export > export Image option.

    Alongside this, we have added several new features in this release. The complete list is available on these links:

  • is there a way to get the index of the html text field cursor position

    I'm working on a block of text as MC with 'insert text at position X' and 'Find and replace' can someone tell me how to find the index of an html text field cursor. Selection.getBeginIndex (), Selection.getEndIndex (), Selection.getCaretIndex () as far as I know these methods only work with text and not htmltext.
    What I'm trying to do, it's affecting different parts of the chain to the variables so that I can combine in order to restore my html string.

    ray1872:

    If I understand correctly, you want the corresponding position in the
    another index of the caret htmlText property (who, like you, has no on the)
    position in the plain text of the textfield content version).

    Here's how I'd do. It is perhaps easier or more effective
    way (using objects XML etc.), but I don't know it. You could conduct all
    your search string in plain text and then convert the result of
    the positions of html. I didn't build this to accept negative parameters
    for the parameter pos (for example, end of string towards the back), but the
    function could be adapted to do this also if necessary. The test data is
    not good html from a text field, but it does not really matter what he
    is as long as its formatting correctly. It separates only tags of
    content to allow apples to apples comparison.

    some test data
    var testStringXML = ""Hello I can't tell you hOE happy I mod.'; "
    var undecoratedString = Hello "I can't tell you how happy I am.";

    the conversion function
    function findDecoratedPosition(pos:Number,_xmlString:String,_test:Boolean):Number {}
    anything between '<' and="" '="">' should be excluded from the search in plain text.
    create a table of elements of array (n = 2), consisting of tag and then plain text
    requires xml/html properly put in the form
    var tempArr:Array = xmlString.split (')<>
    for (var aa = 0; aa
    tempArr [aa] is [aa] tempArr,.split(">").;
    }
    remove the first and last elements in the new array (they are empty)
    tempArr.pop ();
    tempArr.shift ();
    find the location of corresponding plaintext and calculate the position "decorated."
    var retPos:Number = 0;
    var posCount:Number = 0;
    for (var aa = 0; aa
    retPos += tempArr [aa] [0] .length + 2 + tempArr [aa] [1] .length;
    + 2 allows you to lack< and="">
    posCount += tempArr [aa] [1] .length;
    If (posCount > pos) {}
    return (retPos + (pos-posCount));
    }
    }
    out of range
    Returns - 1;

    }

    test code:
    for (var aa = 0; aa
    var altPos = findDecoratedPosition (aa, testStringXML);
    trace (undecoratedString.charAt (AA) +"position" + aa + "in clear corresponds to the position" + altPos + "in decorated version [" + testStringXML.charAt (altPos) + "" "]" ");

    }
