• I continue to be offered an update of Firefox, but when I click on 'install' the bar just comes with half white, half blue round and does not install.

  I have a Macbook (bought in June 2011). Several times in recent weeks, I have been offered an update of Firefox and urged to install it.
  However when I click on OK the bar at the top of the window just goes round with the blue kind half white half of the roll and just install, no matter how long wait. That is, it never becomes the solid blue line, which should gradually fill to the top of the bar.

• The display is Intermittent with a white line

  I play this game Left 4 dead 2 for formula 1 week now. Intel HD graphics card give me some pop-up graphic distortion, but I ignored that. Are now the date two of a kind of lines on the top of the LCD screen. It causes the Image on the screen flickers and vibraed.

  I don't know what to do with this distortion of the screen, but I don't know that it's caused by the game I am playing. So, please help me with this problem.

  I'm sure it is hardware related because the lines on the screen are caused when something happens to the graphics card. You must send it to HP for repair.

  Hi Vasantha.P,

  I recommend that you register a SR with Oracle. According to their literature (http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E10415_01/doc/bi.1013/e10417.pdf) Mozilla 3.0 is supported on 10.1.3.4.1 OBIEE, so they should provide a fix.

  If this is something that affects many users, it'll be good to have an official fix for it.

  The other way that you can take is to directly edit the viewhelper.js and force it to call the correct command. I would not recommend this because:
  (a) it is not supported (I know)
  (b) the next time that you are upgrading, you will lose this fix.
  (c) it will probably take a lot of time for you to understand what is the right order to call to fix the error.
  (d) of the other will not be able to benefit from a public bug fix.

• The issue of reconciliation with TFTP-HR and AD.

  We have recently implemented by IOM using a PeopleSoft HR system as reliable source and target AD as one of the systems. When we did the first reconciliation (load) load us data in IOM by using the scheduled task of PSFTHRTrustedUserRecon. This profile of IOM's data correspond to what was in HR. everything is good so far. Then we ran the scheduled task 'AD user target Recon' to load data of the AD in the AD user resource objects. This is where the problem comes. Profile data user of the IOM are good, but the user AD resource object data have many mistakes: incorrect addresses, wrong numbers etc. Is there a way to get the user profile data (close) eliminated IOM for resource AD user objects and so on AD.

  You can create a scheduled task to perform the updates. After you run the two targets recognition for the resources of the user, follow these steps:

  For each user, enter their profile of IOM values. Find the instance of the user to active directory and using the setProcessFormData, you can update all the values on the form of course AD the user user. Any area that has an associated task 'Updated' will be triggered and update the information Active Directory of the user in the target.

• Possible bug: Lightroom 5.7 now adjusts the brightness after cloning as a white backdrop. Ideas?

  I just found this: work on a larger series of images, shot on a white background.

  It is a mobile facility so sometimes the backdrop covers the whole frame.

  So after I do my settings to my select I use the spot removal tool to clone in some parts of the background if necessary...

  So far so good. But Lightroom then auto adjusts the brightness and contrast of...

  No idea what's going on... Restart LR and the computer did not any changes.

  I'm on a Mac 10.10.3

  The beach of the adjusted values of highlights, shadows, whites, blacks, clarity (at least) all depend on image content so your cloning on a dark area left replaces the range of values of the image and changes as well as cursors.

  The difference is very accentuated between the cloned image and uncloned if clarity is equal to 0 and black to-100 with all the remains the same that the DNG downloaded, where all parameters are identical between the two images and the background being cloned to white is the only difference in the parameters and settings, so the Visual difference is how LR applied 5 toning of the sliders.

  

  The problem is that unwanted background on the left is darker than the subject so it's existence or not determines what means 'black '.  It cloning of 'Black' changes that she will fix the details of the subject and affects how the highlights, shadows, white, black and clarity sliders work.

  I think that toning using tone instead of these 5 sliders below curve contrast will not have this problem and I think that cropping away rather than cloning in the background, then using the 5 sliders will not the problem.

  The essential is that cloning apparently happens before you tone up in the pipeline of the image and how these 5 sliders work is designed so that you will see this difference and is not a bug.

  For the reference of someone else reading this, here's the default settings has been made in the two DNG as downloaded before changing Black =-100 and clarity = 0 for the side-by-side, supra.

  

• companyweb pulls up with a white screen

  Who with whom I work using a web company hosted by a SBS 2008 Server. I can access the companyweb with chrome or safari, but Firefox doesn't. The other two come with a white screen and then a box of authentication is asking for credentials. Firefox doesn't do this. She's just a white screen. It is not only my computer that does this. It seems that every Mac with Firefox. What's also weird is that Firefox for Windows works very well.

  Thanks for the information of Kiran, but do not go for the shared components and we can save and make the current style Pebble theme it yourself (very cool feature) and regarding the issue I have with this custom style CSS not getting not properly applied is due to the incorrect configuration of services remains. and you can see in the page of the tab style of the universal theme, there is a CSS OUTPUT file Url parameter which is a JSON string (#THEME_DB_IMAGES #11918460990413349.css) and it will not work properly if we do not properly configure the rest services.

  I'm legally blind. It became a never-ending struggle to get Firefox to display the colors correctly. I use the black contrast theme. and Firefox is configured to display white text on black background. Recently, I needed to adjust the color for unvisited links. I could not because the colors of the palette are all black. I found a solution here to switch the State of (I think) browwser.treference.inconfig. This gave me the screen options of old back and it worked. Now, I can't go back because the screen addons and about: config white text on white background.

  Last post on this topic-, it is a known bug, #1207084, which is marked as resolved.

• I burned a dvd using windows dvd creation, when I watch it, after the first 20 minutes, that the image becomes almost black and white with pink exaggeratted shadows. WHY?

  I am compiling my football teams game film.  I created a dvd using Windows DVD Maker.  Each game is a single video file to AVI format.  When I preview the video, no problem. After having carved, (2 trials) when I watch the DVD, the menu screens look good, the video of the first part looks fine, but from second game, or of the stage, the video quality changes.  The video becomes almost black and white.  The shadows and the highlights of the video seem to be exaggerated and that they are pink color.  It seems to be an effect of video editing, but I did no changes to the video features.  Help.

  Elimination of the background is transparent can be done with precision using the mixture control if the Style layer.

  1. open the file and if the layer is locked, trash the lock.

  2 Cmd + click on the new icon layer in the layers panel to apply a layer of vacuum below the object.

  3. return to the upper layer and double-click it in the layers panel to bring up the layer Style.

  4 in section mixture if at the bottom of layer Style, move the high gray-scale slider to the right page to the left until it disappears from the background of the illustration. For extra precision, to the point where the White is about to disappear, you can click Option on the half left of the cursor to divide and move it gently to the left when you look white in the picture disappear.

  According to the image that you have to work with, you could try an initial with the Quick Selection tool and refine edges.  Save the new output layer with layer mask.

• Adobe Acrobat Pro 11 & Word 2007 issues of transparency for the doc

  I use Adobe Acrobat Pro 11, Word 2007 and Windows 7 operating systems.  In my work I produce documents word with photos pasted at various points. The photos are marked with text boxes, objects etc. of the arrow.  When I convert the word in a file doc PDF some, but not all, the backgrounds for text box from transparent white, that also some object disappear, does anyone have ideas what goes wrong.  I just upgraded to Acrobat 8 and don't encounter any of these issues with Acrobat 8, I'm about to reload Acrobat 8, ditching Pro 11 and request a refund.

  Any help or suggestion on what is going wrong will be greatly appreciated.

• Change the background of the file .png transparent-white Uni

  Hello

  I use PhotoShop CC.  A colleague gave me a file .png with a transparent background.  I would like to change the solid background (white), but I didn't know how to do this.  If someone could tell me how, I would really appreciate it.

  I posted this on the forum of Photoshop because I believe that the .png file is a raster versus vector image, but if it's easier to do what I want in Illustrator, please let me know.

  In fact that is not necessary as jpg does not support layers, so the file could be flattened and therefore would be left with a white background.

  In the layers panel, there is a command called flattening, it is also available in the top menu. Flatten the will merge all layers and change the background layer. Default background has a white background and doesn't support transparency, so on white background.

  The command merge just did the same thing but leaves the layer as a layer, allowing transparency in tact.

  1. I started a project as transparent image. I added a layer and I would make up the new show of Lapointe as non-transparent. Can someone explain how to make this adjustment?

  2. I added a drop shadow to text and shadow is not quite as dark as I would have preferred it to be. Is it possible to adjust the darkness of this effect?

  (b) how to remove an effect as drop shadows of an element? So, is it possible to see what effects are on a point? Because at this point I don't know

  a way to delete an effect and which is CTRL + Z (undo), but this works only momentarily and once I might have several changes cancel become unparctical.

  That's what I know the issue of layer styles:

  You can double-click a little difficult to see the fx icon to the right of the

  thumbnail of the layer to change your layer and then under drop shadow styles you can

  adjust the opacity of the shadow.

  The symbol of fx, the layer has a layer style.

  

  

  Erase the layer styles is to go to layer > layer Style > clear layer Style.

  You can also click with the right button on the layer in the layers panel and choose the transparent layer Style.

  If you just want to temporarily hide the layer style, choose hide all effects, then

  choose Show all effects to make the layer visible style.
