• Rich Textbox example does not work in Windows 7

  In the past, I use the example of the Rich Textbox (\samples\userint\activex\richTextxbox.prj) in Windows XP (CVI 2010 SP1).

  It seems that the Rich Textbox control component provided by one of the VB Runtime is more included by default with Windows 7.

  I was able to manually record using Regsvr32 ActiveX control as described in the following Microsoft KB.

  I managed to download the ActiveX control needed here and there, you must copy the .ocx for the ActiveX control in your C:\Windows\SysWOW64 directory. Open an administrator command prompt and run "REGSVR32 RICHTX32. OCX'.

  SysWOW64 is the "Windows on Windows" emulation directory which is used for the execution of 32-bit controls in a 64-bit environment.

  I realize this isn't the best solution by making the deployment of applications a little more complicated, another solution would be to use another control ActiveX RTF like the one here: http://www.lebans.com/richtext.htm.

  Thanks for posting. It seems that there is a problem with your system Web server of NOR. System OR web server is a service that launches startup which opens the TCP/IP ports to communicate with other applications of NOR, namely the NI LabVIEW example Finder. If LabVIEW can not start NEITHER System Web Server, you can also have problems with other programs OR associated with LabVIEW measurement and Automation Explorer.

  I'm not a DBA, and I'm very basic level with oracle database technology. I want to study to get OCA "SQL Fundametals I" certification.

  For this reason I downloaded the "pre built' virtualbox machine with oracle database 11g r2 installed, but I have not found the EXAMPLE of HR and OE schema that is used as a case study for the certification.

  Googling on the internet I found that it is possible manually install the schema example.

  In the $ORACLE_HOME/demo/schema, I found the mkplug.sql. Run this file with sqlplus I insert the 11 request parameters but the High Representative, OE, and another example of schema are not correctly create.

  The error I get in the log file is: ORA-00959: tablespace "EXAMPLE" does not exist.

  We just released a 64-bit Mac (cocoa) of our plugin version, which goes well.  But we have had requests for a 32-bit version, for use with PS Elements (versions 10/09/11).

  Xcode, I duplicated the current goal, worth 32-bit architecture.  The 32-bit plugin compiles (after commenting on a statement from ShowVersionAlert to DialogUtilities.h), but when running it in PSE 9 it does not display the proxies and PSE crashes randomly (by exiting the application, etc.).  PES 11 does not proxies, but does not seem to hang (trial was brief).

  So I tried to compile the 32-bit version for example dissolve, and I get the same problems.

  Is the SDK CS6 none liked compatible with PSE?  Is a 32-bit plugin must use carbon?

• WLC Flex connect local authentication does not work

  Hi guys,.

  I'll give you a brief description of our current flexconnect configuration. We have APs configured mode flexconnect in the remote office and in local mode in the local office. Wireless LANs are the same in both locations and we have detected a problem in one specific SSID. It is a voice SSID and configured in 802.1 x mode that authenticates to a RADIUS server in the remote desktop.

  We detected only when the WAN line gets collapsed the IP phones unplugged wireless SSID and when the WAN line become free, reconnected.

  We have seen that we can configure Flexconnect local auth mode to avoid this problem, but it of esn can't work properly. We have set up APs in remote site with an IP address static and configured as NAS in the RADIUS server, but we did not see any which authenticayion in th RADIUS server package when change us the SSID to «FlexConnect auth» local

  Can you give me an idea to help solve this problem?

  It depends on your current configuration and security policy what are the feasible options in this scenario. If there is an available RADIUS server - who can still authenticate your users while the WAN line is down, you can configure your access points to access this server directly. You must use a FlexConnect for this group and configure the external server on the general tab, in the menu "AAA". You already made the point of access-static IP addresses and add them as clients on the RADIUS server, then it should work.

  Another option is that in the event of failure, access points to will authenticate the client based on a local data base and/or certificate. Also, this requires a FlexConnect group and the option 'Enable local authentication AP'. For example: If you are using PEAP and a specific user for VoWLAN account you can download the server and the certificates of CA to the WLC and add the credentials of this account to build the same configuration with the external server. Downside of this is the lack of central logging that may not match your security policy.

  Remember that the access point itself can't remember the relationship between the access point and FlexConnect group, in both scenarios, you need to configure all controllers manually with these MAC to the Group mappings. This behavior is different in comparison with the "groups of AP" what access point you remember during the passage of the controllers.

  The "FlexConnect local authentication" option on the SSID itself forces always use local authentication that has been configured on the FlexConnect group even if the connection with the WLC is available. I don't think that it is feasible to use it in your scenario.

  I tried to use the code example provided for the RichList UI component, but it did not work. I get illegalStateException or another similar error. I didn't with my richlist photos so I changed it to look like this:

  Nevermind, I solved it. I had to add super(Manager,NO_VERTICAL_SCROLL) to the upper part of the constructor, and then I had to change the bitmap to bitmapfield and set it like this:

  This is because the kDRAWBOT_SurfaceSuite_VersionCurrent macro points to a version of the suite of surface which is not supported in AE2014. I had this problem and found the best way to get around it is to edit the AEFX_SuiteHelper.c file directly, replacing the kDRAWBOT_SurfaceSuite_Version1, then:

  ERR = AEFX_AcquireSuite (in_data, out_data, kDRAWBOT_SurfaceSuite, kDRAWBOT_SurfaceSuite_Version1, NULL, (void *) & suitesP-> surface_suiteP);

  You can change the place DrawbotSuite.h, by changing the macro kDRAWBOT_SurfaceSuite_VersionCurrent to kDRAWBOT_SurfaceSuite_Version1 and leaving AEFX_SuiteHelper.c as it was.

• LDAP example does not work

  There is a sample script for the use of LDAP in the developer's guide of VCO, which generates an error when I run a workflow that contains this example.   I try to get the example of BookMIFWash (available from C:\Program Files\Adobe\AdobeFrameMaker10\Samples\ScriptsAndUtilities\BookMIFWash) to work in FM 10, but I still get the following error message when I opened FM:

  As explained in the comments of the file fm_bookmifwash.c, I followed the recommended steps:

  1. Copy the BookComponentMIFWash.dll to the fminit on my computer folder.
  2. In the [APIClients] section of the maker.ini file, add ""MIFwash = Standard, washing of the MIF, fminit\BookComponentMIFWash.dll, all the ". "
  3. Open FrameMaker.
