• XML of LiveDocs code example does not work

  Hello, I am new to Flex with a background in JS, HTML, CSS and PHP. I am trying to learn by following examples of LiveDocs. Example XML file loading, found here, will not work for me. I created a basic XML file and pasted the code in an MXML application inside '< mx:Script >' vanilla. When I run the application, I get two errors number 1120 similar on the line indicating "myLoader.addEventListener ("complete", xmlLoaded);". Error messages are telling me that "telephone" and "xmlLoaded" of properties is not valid. How can I fix this to work properly?
  
  Here is an example of the XML file that I use.

  There are several problems with this article of dip. The url does not appear to exist, so I put the xml data in a data4.xml file in a local xml file 'data' that should be a subdirectory of the directory containing the file mxml app.

• Rich Textbox example does not work in Windows 7

  In the past, I use the example of the Rich Textbox (\samples\userint\activex\richTextxbox.prj) in Windows XP (CVI 2010 SP1).

  Now, I noticed that this example does not work in Windows 7 64 bit because the ActiveX is not registered on the system (see error.jpg).

  This control is not installed by CVI IDE itself?

  How can I get this example to work on my Win 7 64 bit machine?

  It seems that the Rich Textbox control component provided by one of the VB Runtime is more included by default with Windows 7.

  I was able to manually record using Regsvr32 ActiveX control as described in the following Microsoft KB.

  I managed to download the ActiveX control needed here and there, you must copy the .ocx for the ActiveX control in your C:\Windows\SysWOW64 directory. Open an administrator command prompt and run "REGSVR32 RICHTX32. OCX'.

  SysWOW64 is the "Windows on Windows" emulation directory which is used for the execution of 32-bit controls in a 64-bit environment.

  I realize this isn't the best solution by making the deployment of applications a little more complicated, another solution would be to use another control ActiveX RTF like the one here: http://www.lebans.com/richtext.htm.

  Thanks for posting. It seems that there is a problem with your system Web server of NOR. System OR web server is a service that launches startup which opens the TCP/IP ports to communicate with other applications of NOR, namely the NI LabVIEW example Finder. If LabVIEW can not start NEITHER System Web Server, you can also have problems with other programs OR associated with LabVIEW measurement and Automation Explorer.

  To check if you can start the click OR Web Service system on start > run... then type "services.msc". Here scroll NI System Web Server, right click and select 'start '.

  I'm not a DBA, and I'm very basic level with oracle database technology. I want to study to get OCA "SQL Fundametals I" certification.

  For this reason I downloaded the "pre built' virtualbox machine with oracle database 11g r2 installed, but I have not found the EXAMPLE of HR and OE schema that is used as a case study for the certification.

  Googling on the internet I found that it is possible manually install the schema example.

  In the $ORACLE_HOME/demo/schema, I found the mkplug.sql. Run this file with sqlplus I insert the 11 request parameters but the High Representative, OE, and another example of schema are not correctly create.

  The error I get in the log file is: ORA-00959: tablespace "EXAMPLE" does not exist.

  Please, can someone help me on what are the exact steps to do before running the mkplug.sql file?

  There seems to be a conflict with the port with an extensionnel screen display!

  When I start Dreamweaver with display port unplugged, dreamweaver works fine. And I can plug it after and it stills work. Other wise, if I plug the display port before launching dreamweaver, code hinting doesn't work anymore.

  I am using the SDK Gold and work through the tutorials. I want to add dynamically images of C++. The tutorial that I use is here:

  We just released a 64-bit Mac (cocoa) of our plugin version, which goes well.  But we have had requests for a 32-bit version, for use with PS Elements (versions 10/09/11).

  Xcode, I duplicated the current goal, worth 32-bit architecture.  The 32-bit plugin compiles (after commenting on a statement from ShowVersionAlert to DialogUtilities.h), but when running it in PSE 9 it does not display the proxies and PSE crashes randomly (by exiting the application, etc.).  PES 11 does not proxies, but does not seem to hang (trial was brief).

  So I tried to compile the 32-bit version for example dissolve, and I get the same problems.

  Is the SDK CS6 none liked compatible with PSE?  Is a 32-bit plugin must use carbon?

  I have problem in execution of the code examples in the CS6.

  I have install AI CS6 and download the SDK for AI CS6. I'm building the code sample of the plugin (tutorial, webter). I build success, but this program does not work in CS6.

  With the tutorial. It is apprirance in the Help menu and object menu-> filter-> SDK-> tutorial. But no action when I click on it

  My Os is XP SP3 windown.

  I build with visual studio 10.

  I can build successful plugin code example in the CS5 SDK and run successful with AI CS5.

  I think because you have menu items appearing as side C++ example must be run properly. However, these two samples use an extension flash to provide the user interface, which is something that has changed between CS5 and CS6 SDK. If extensions that provide this Interface were not installed or running using Extension Builder, then I would expect that it causes the behavior you are experiencing.

  To install the extensions to confirm that this solves the problem, you can do the following:

  If you look in the TutorialUI or WebterUI folders, you should see an output with TutorialUI.zxp or WebterUI.zxp folder if you double-click the files, they should open the extension manager and install the extension.

  If you restart Illustrator, and try the plugins I would expect now to display a Panel after clicking on the menu items. This is if the problem is that I have described.

  Well, from what you have provided, I don't see why you DecorTestScreen to all. Stripping on your variables just to keep the shortest code example, you get this:

  This assumes two public classes in two modules; You can do this in a single module through the screen an inner class private, of course.  I have not actually run, so there may be errors, but it is essentially the code that I ran.

  Maybe you have a reason for a third class - you want to play with it and then throw it away, you want to let the user start with a button, whatever.  That's OK, too, but you need to instantiate somewhere. Again, I have not run this, just ginned it upward on the fly and it's a skeleton - for example, you may need to do something to close the screen - but here the general idea:

  Once you shake the bugs out, this should give you a screen cyan with a top button.  By pressing the button should give you a blue screen.

  Let me know if my example is too broken to fix, but it should be enough to get you moving.
