  You can try to find the real cause. Safe mode disables installed Extensions, themes (appearance) in (Alt + T) Tools > Add-ons. Hardware acceleration is also disabled - manual setting is Tools > Options > Advanced > general > use hardware acceleration when available. All these adjustments can be also enabled/disabled/changed manually to isolate the cause after exit safe mode and start Firefox normally.

  Use the mouse pointer and do a right-click on the toolbar choose bring up the Task Manager and you can bring up the prompt RUN through the start menu, so (you may need to activate via the start menu/taskbar properties.)

  Most new PC with a CPU series i will work, even with the embedded video. However, a discrete video card will help a lot with FSX, especially if you use an add ons or landscapes updates (which can make a much better Flight Simulator!).

  For Combat Flight Simulator, you may need to run in compatibility mode so that it can work.

Additionally, when you try to use a brush with a taper on it (which I would like to get rid of), he refuses to go.  Sometimes I can use keyboard controls and all that after I chose another tool and back brushes (or dodge or burn), say brush, click on the arrow icon, then back to the brush and use the keyboard command, or click on the program and back in.

  The closest you can get use Windows + M key that will minimize all windows. You can use Windows + D (display the desktop). You use this shortcut will allow you to use Windows + D now show the last window before the display of the desktop computer.

  Recently, I noticed on my Macbook Pro (running El Capitan 10.11.4) 2011 beginning British keyboard, I can make more the euro (€) symbol or the accent acute/Irish/Gaelic fada ('') using the down option.

  Option + 2 now gives me™ where it used to give me the euro symbol, and option + vowel now gives me a circumflex (e.g. i) where it is used to give me the treble.

  I don't know when it started, but I wonder if it was caused by an update, as I have not changed it parameters. Can someone tell me how to solve this problem and return my option controls how they were before?

  Looks like you have the active US keyboard. Check preferences-> keyboard-> input Source System.
