• Acer Liquid e700 - find hollow email synchronization setting

  On other smartphones, I've used, I can put my email sync with an Exchange Server to stop at 22:00 and again at 08:00, so I am not disturbed at night by incoming emails. It is typically "Off-peak" hours in sync settings.

  I don't know how to do this automatically on the e700 Acer Liquid.

  This feature is not available or am I missing something? Perhaps there is a separate email app that could achieve the same result.

• format micro sd card acer liquid e2 problems

  Hello I have an acer liquid e2 smartphone running on android jelly bean 4.2.1

  recently, I bought a micro sd with a capacity of 32Gbs of kingston card

  at first glance, everything worked fine, but yesterday, I wanted to transfer files via 4Gbs.

  I noticed that it is not possible for FAT based micro sd for this cards but if format you the card micro sd for exFAT, or NTFS you could work around this transferlimit.

  I connect to my computer and I reformatted my card micro sd, exFAT AND NTFS, but none of them has been recognized by my phone.

  so I searched more on this subject, and it seems that android supports NTFS...

  so I wonder is my e2 liquid acer problem here? and what do I do?

  I hope that I did not purchase this reader/writer for sd cards

  my phone is rooted so I lack it but there were a few problems update even if it was properly the

  so I changed my phone to its factory settings and updated to 4.2.2

  It was not always able to recognize NTFS in itself, so I searched again and found an app that should be able to do

  the app is called "paragon NTFS and HFS +" it wanted to download it but I need to root my phone to use this application

  so I rooted my phone after update to 4.2.2 and downloaded this app

  now, I'm finally able to use my micro sd NTFS-formatted card

  I don't know if the app alone would be enough to do, but it was clear that I needed the app or at least root

  4.2.2 update alone is not enough

• Acer liquid e700 v1.0.18.00 upsate with problems and there is no change log.

  This morning got the 1.0.18.00 after the upgrade update pops up a window saying unfortunately, "the com.android.systemul process has stopped." and not let what anyone.

  Necessarily downloaded 700 MB of 1.0.14.00 threw a sd and then I have done since the beginning of the process, but more of the same.

  The problem has been fixed after in new 1.0.14.00 once I wipe back to factory settings and still one time installed the 1.0.18.00 and all played fine.

  We have to restore the phone from the beginning. In 1.0.14.00 I did ON the AIR has not sent any problem.

  I can't find a changelog for 1.0.18.00

  I hope that this update to be the last that need to wipe everything in order to operate.

  Acer should also create logs of changes. It's ridiculous in 2014. to install and then guess what changed.

  I got a new system update notification on my e700 liquid acer so I have isntalled there...  Press restart and install, but I'm stuck system recovery I tried factory reset it does not work every time that I reboot system I always end up the recovery system please if you have any information on how to deal with this problem do help, thanks

  If complete wipe in recovery does not work, then I'm sure that you'll have to reflash the ROM on your device. Another option is to send it to Acer support service in your country (if the unit still has a warranty).

• Low volume button no longer works Acer Liquid E700

  Dear reader,

  I've got an E700 liquid Acer for about 3 months now. The low volume button has suddenly stopped working. I did something strange with the phone, but I think that the problem began to appear just after I detached/seal the rear case (but I do not think that something was wrong there). The low volume button is not working for the volume, or the option screenshot. I have the latest update on the phone system and the rest of the phones buttons work fine. Do you know what is the problem and how perhaps trying to solve?

• Acer Liquid e700 - does not work with a SIM of UK of 3 card

  I have a card SIM of EE and O2 works well but the 3 SIM card still has a red cross on it.

  The SIM card works fine in my Samsung Galaxy Note.

  I know the 3 network in the United Kingdom is 3G only and has no support for GSM standard phones, but I thought the e700 was fully 3G.

  Anyone have any ideas?

  only a 3 G SIM card, the other 2 are only 2G but you can activate via software instead of move SIM between slots.

• Problem of liquid E700 Acer when the music is playing in the car

  Whenever I connect my acer e700 to my car to listen to music in the car, the music seems to stop, then I manually play it again, then it stops again. So I went back to the phone and got a replacement and hope that the problem would be resolved, but the same thing happened (Im using the pre-installed music btw player)

  At first, I thought it was my power cord (connecting the phone to the car) for pla music, but the problem is not the power cord because my old samsung y duos plays music in the car without stopping or problems at all.

  I also tried to download a free music player (AUDIO STREAM), it seemed to diminish stop the music but a few songs always stop when is played in the car.

  Any thoughts on why this is happening? My opinion is that this phone, the Acer Liquid E700, (I mean all of it) is partly defective and cannot play music hen plugged the car wihtout stop smoothly.

  I bought the E700 liquid Acer a few days ago. And I had the same problem. On Spotifu, the music just stops after a short time I was playing in the car, connect my phone via a cable to the stereo in my car.

  I found a workaround to the problem. It seems it has something to do with DTS, which must be introduced in Middle > DTS Studio Sound. When you turn off this setting the music no longer stops. When you do not want that it turned on, do not set the volume of your phone up, but around 70 percent level. You can then increase the volume of your car stereo to adjust.

  It is not a solution to the problem, but it is at least a workaround until Acer solves this problem.

• Acer Liquid E2 Duo: Problem of storage. How?

  I have a storage problem on my Acer Liquid E2 Duo. Because of my previous phone experience that I thought 4 GB internal memory was enough, but it's not good I moved all the applications that I could to the SD card.

  Here's what I see in 'Settings'-> 'storage '.

  1. Storage internal-> size-> free 50 MB 2.35 GB
  2. -> Card SD size 32 GB-> GB of free 22
  3. Storage-> phone size 1.6 GB-> GB 1.6 free

  If "Internal storage" + 'Phone storage' are by default 4 GB to come with the phone.
  But obviously NO application go to the "storage of phone" so I run out of space in "internal memory". Why?

  In addition many to come with the OS ' default ' apps (and that I do NOT like Facebook, etc...) are not INSTALLABLE (I tried it only turn them off) and no MOBILE SD card (option is grayed out).

  So in summary: I have run out of space in "Internal memory" with many not removable applications and while the 'storage phone' is not used, I have plenty of space on the SD card but I can not move the default applications default on that...

  If anyone has the answers...

  Hi all, for some time now, I've provided workaround for this "storage solution" issued by PM and Acer have been generous enough to allow me to do.

  However, things got a lot better now and I am extremely grateful to Acer that will allow me to send a link to workaround and make it a sticky so that nobody has to PM me longer for it.

  Acer will add their own words at this, but let me say that although the 'process/script"is very well written (ahem!), it is not for novices and you will need to understand some parts of your phone, along the TSF, some may be new terminology and jargon.

  And of course, it is at your own risk. You decide for yourself the positive feedback in this thread about whether it is worth to continue. That being said, here is the link to my instructions as to how you can repartition the storage:

• Strange screen with acer Liquid Z220 shutdown problem

  This has happened with my new phone smart acer Liquid Z220.

  Turning on the acer screen "android-powered" rises.

  The three logo (my provider).

  But then the screen turns white.

  However, the phone doesn't work and responds to the touch (without seeing me anything).

  Strangely, if I unlock directly to the camera, the screen lights up. But as soon as I leave the camera shuts off again!

  Managed on the basis of work this point - the phone has like "Adaptive brightness" which did not work properly.

  Low levels of light, the screen would be white. In bright light, it would work. The software seems to be dimming to dark conditions, but it translated as a blank screen on the material.

  I solved this by going to settings-> display and turn off Adaptive brightness.

  I bought an Acer Liquid E2 Dual Sim version, and I have a question. Where is the mount SD option? Because the selected field is gray in the storage in Mount... 'untouchable '. What if I already have a SD card in? (a new).

  It does not work like that. I tried. Quick and full format on a PC using Fat32. I think that the problem is due to the lack of information. The device does not support the old microSD formats. It only supports the new microSDHC and I think because I recently bought a microsdHC card and it worked.

• Unstable GPS on ACER Liquid Jade S [icoyote]

  I recently bought an ACER Liquid Jade S. I use it with two sim cards.

  The problem is that the GPS seems to be very laggy. When you use the sailing of Acer, the phone seems to lose its position some time. The position is really not accurate at all.

  However, the icoyote application is not usable at all. Speed acknowledged is not accurate at all.  And the signal is lost at high speed.

  Can someone help me with this matter? Is there a solution to my problem?

  OK, just tested and...

  (1) acer Nav worked smoothly, no problems even at 130 km/h

  (2) Google navigator worked smoothly, no problems even at 130 km/h

  (3) icoyote... the worst app I've tried. he loses parts of language, false warnings and GPS works at random, but it's an application error, given that the coverage was good.

  Note that I had no GPS signal map icoyote but clicking on the GPS icon and check signal on icoyote, GPS has 4-6 satellite and the speed has been recognized, go to the main screen, no speed and no signal.

  so, in the end, your device probably has some questions about GPS but icoyote done even worse.

  Sometimes the icon phone naming appearance becomes strange.

  For example Google + becomes G...

  Sometimes, some extend the appellation of the correct icon.

  It is very annoying

  One undergoes this kind of question or one to solve this problem?

  I think you're right that the problem is with the Acer theme/launcher. I tested with the help of a third party, and the problem disappeared completely.

  Acer would kindly fix this issue because I don't really like using third party ui/themes/Launcher. It's just not natural for me.
