• Errors with several buttons pointing to the same frame on the timeline. Animate CC

  I have a project where I'm using a function text button to reach a specific image and stop to view, however, if I take a contour of the object and put it on a symbol, I can't have two different objects pointing to the same frame, it generates the error because the frame can be called only by a single button/symbol.

  My solution is to reproduce each of the frames and each have addressed as a new image with the same content.

  Is there a better way to do this?  I'm not fluent Actionscript 3.

  You can't have double function names and using the same name/instance for different objects reference is problematic, but you pouvez have different objects "..." pointing at the same time.

• Snapshots broken - two snapshots pointing to the same basic disk, may consolidate

  Hi people,

  I'm running into a brick wall with a problem I'm having with snapshots. Sometime a few nights ago a configuration change was made to one of our virtual machines even if a snapshot exists for this virtual machine. Later, shots were not working properly.

  The initial snapshot, which was there when changing the configuration seems to have consolidated in the basic disk. However, the snapshot files are always here (1 mb in size) and are still there in the Snapshot Manager.

  Create snapshots in addition to this, one works very well, but they cannot be consolidated:

  An error occurred in consolidating the discs: msg.snapshot.error - DUPLICATEDISK.

  Examining the files .vmsn watch the first snapshot and the second snapshot point to the same basic, disk rather than the second snapshot pointing to the first snapshot.

  I've attached a zip file of all the files that appear to be relevant.

  My thought is this: since we know that the first snapshot contains no valuable data (the deltas are empty; they were not pushing between the time when the first consolidation 'fail' and the second snapshot was created) can change us the .vmsd of the virtual machine and delete the references to the snapshot of the first, broken? This would allow consolidation to ignore that first unnecessary snapshot that points to the same disks as the second and ends correctly?

  If a vmsd is no longer valid and snapshotmanager does not display anything, or something that has no sense
  create a directory "deletemelater" inside the existing - move all the vmsd and vmsn-files into it.
  Then look at the config really used by
  1. Mark vmdk in your current config in reading the vmx file (scsi0:0.filename =?.) VMDK
  2. check?. VMDK and follow the referenced parentFileNameHint it
  3 do the same for each additional parts possibly existing chain of snapshot
  ....
  X. Finally, you should find the reference to the basedisk

  If all the paths make sense and are available and you want to keep the virtual machine, as it is configured
  create a new snapshot while the virtual machine is turned off.
  This should create a fresh and valid minimum vmsd file that also will allow future automatic backups after then used the function UI 'clear all '.
  Vmsd-files for editing is rarely needed - and the above procedure is much less error-prone.

  When I do translucent animations with brilliant light effects, they look great in AE but I can't seem to find a way to bring Final Cut and get them to look as they should.

  I have attached this example of a bug with a screenshot of EI on the left with the CPF on the right. The Sun of colors and gradients of vibrant blue get flattened in a dull greenish color.

  There is nothing wrong with AE, you have just a poor understanding of the works of floating point processing. In short: you're confusing mix of transparency, and this is why everything falls apart when you export. The color is still there, there is simply no opaque pixels to process on and so she never shows upward, much less in an environment that only works in 8 and 16 bits as FCP, limited killing already loyalty by using an 8-bit format. That's all that happens, and unfortunately there really isn't much you can do. Unmultiplying the result based on luminance should give you a usable result, but it remains an approximation, and regardless of whether you use the same blend modes in FCP, it will never be the same work. So in conclusion, a better way to do this would be to work 8 or 16bpc and make it look as if she were 32bpc.   Frame 2 - Select sheets by clicking on the image (tree top or bottom) or text, leaves description becomes visible

  Frame 4 - trunk select by clicking on the image (tree top or bottom) or text, description of trunk becomes visible

  One approach I've used in the past for such things is to open the work, the tree in Photoshop then "cut" art into segments and put each segment in a different layer in Photoshop. Then you can import that art directly in to animate and each layer will import under a separate post. Then you can combine them into a movieClip to a work of art on the stage. From there, you can select each segment and each a movieClip or button you want.

  To answer this question, I think we need to take a step back and understand what is happening when we first put ().
