• Fluke 8845 A does not meet the LAN port

  I downloaded Fluke 884 X installed and installed driver.  The 8845A is connected to an internal LAN network.   Manually set the IP address, subform on the instrument.  Used the Measurement & Automation Explorer to search for the device.  Autodiscover does not work, but a manual entry of the raw socket.  Could validate the connection of the device.

  However, when I place a simple VI - say to run, well, whatever it is - initialize, system, etc., it seems I get a time-out error.  (I'm tired of sitting in the corner).  In any case, is someone tried the LAN connection?  Since I am new to LabView, maybe I missed something?

  I don't think that the DMM 8845/8846 is compliant VXI - 11, while the instrument of Agilent is compatible, you can check if the moat has an update of the firmware.

• Output to the source mV using fluke 726

  I was recently given a VI that controls the entries in a fluke 726.  The VI is simple, but I've met a few simple Questions about how to change a few things.  My fluke 726 is sourcing from millivolts to thermocouples for testing purposes.  The VI I have has a transformation of my entry number in volts and then sourcing with the moat in volts out to the thermocouple.  Playback I get Volt is imprecise.  I need the number to be sent and read in millivolts for a more accurate setting.  The driver I have on labview for the fluke 726 was already built in the VI and there a selection "Output - Volts DC", but nothing for millivolts.

  Thank you, after I posted this yesterday, I went in the case of pilot and made one for the case I wanted it to do.  I knew that the 726 mV source, but I didn't know if you could tell with labview because it wasn't in the pilot.  A simple manipulation of a tension mirrored case led me to discover that you can tell him what to do as long as you invite him just to talk about the fluke. (find the command prompt on the website of moat.)

• Fluke Hydra 2625 with NI LabVIEW drivers: can not read the output data

  I work with a Fluke Hydra data logger 2625 have downloaded the drivers from NI LabVIEW, crossed the config., initialize and modes files and now trying to read data from a thermocouple.

  Initially, I was getting an error message ("17" I think) but now, after correcting the port numbers, the recorder data and LabVIEW seem to communicate without error. I would like to know where I should look (in the panels before different drivers) for temperature data output.

  Any advice would be appreciated at this point. Thank you.

  There is a driver not supported here. I have the instrument and you have not used one in quite a few years, but if using the example, the function can be set to temperature temperature with the 751 RTD or thermocouple. The results indicators min/max/last.

  The pilot could really benefit from a full rewrite, but it seems that most of the basic functions are there.

  You can also try a different browser, some customers have reported problems with some versions of Chrome.

• Impossible to acquire the lock on Fluke 45 COM1 series in LabVIEW

  When the ECHO of multimeter Fluke setting is enabled, the following occurs using the Panel to test VISA OR max:

  1. In the VISA sign, a write command is sent to write * IDN? \r to the multimeter.  No error, the DMM accepts the order.
  2. In the VISA sign, a reading command is sent and the DMM previous writing echoes (* IDN? \r) command to the VISA sign
  3. In the VISA sign, a reading command is sent, then the DMM shows the output of the command "write" (FLUKE, 45, [redacted] sn, D1.0\r\n 1.7)
  4. In the Panel VISA, a read command is sent, and then the DMM indicates that the "write" command has been received and executed successfully using default BOM of the DMM (-online \r\n)

  Note that this is quite the same when ECHO is turned off, except that step 2 does not occur.

  Now, it's quite identical to the output during the next show the * IDN? order Tera Term:

  * IDN?

  Fluke, 45, [redacted] sn, 1.7 D1.0

  =>

  (Tera term, does not display the CR (\r) or line feed (\n) as does the VISA Committee).

  Thus, it would seem that the VISA panel communicates with the DMM in the same way as terminal, it is simply not actively reading such as Tera term and requires the user to request a read line.

  What I don't understand is the difference between the behavior of the DMM when you use the Tera term or the Panel test VISA and when using LabVIEW.

  When communicating with the DMM in terms of Tera or the VISA sign, the digital multimeter answers ranging from 1 view state to indicate status 2 (see images below).  When you try to use even the simplest example communication series live or the driver plug-and-play Fluke screws, the DMM remains to view state 1.  Note that the change of State 1 to State 2 happens only after the launch of a connection in Tera term or the VISA sign; so, I think I'm having a problem where LabVIEW is unable to acquire a lock for communication with the instrument series.

  If someone has some, please let me know if you have a way to solve this particular problem.

• Fluke 6100 driver problem

  Hi all

  I'm just trying to perform the two functions of simple configuration in the fluke 6100 driver, but I'm getting an error (see attachment).  Do you know where I can find more information on what the error message mean?  Thank you!

  I managed to download the driver myself to try and diagnose your error and after looking into your driver more closely in LabVIEW (looking context-sensitive help for each VI), it looks like the configuration of two screws that you have found errors because (Meters.VI to set up and configure Energy.VI) are supported only by the fluke 6100 B.

  I have a quesiton about the fluke 6100 driver.  The first time I run my program, the initialization of the pilot will give me an error, but if I run the program again, the error will disappear.  Why is this?

• When you use the vi: 'FLUKE 884 X series, readonly Measurement.vi' with a shot of LUCK 8846 it reads an error message "overload".

  I want to use this driver to a resistance reading 4 son who, in the Act, is a PT100 resistance to measure the temperature.

  When I click on 'run always' - button on the Panel before LabVIEW, the program reads the current resistance.

  However after each reading, there comes the "overload" - error message on the screen of the multimeter 8846 has.

  Sometimes, it can be also seen a small 'mistake' - sign on the screen and, sometimes, 8846 beeps.

  I already disabled the "ID-Query" in the "Initialize.vi".

  What can I do to avoid these error messages?

  Instead of using the 'FLUKE 884 X series, readonly Measurement.vi' - vi, I use the 'Read (Single Point) .vi' - vi, which is also included in the

  downloadable file. Now, there is no error messages more.

• Very high speed of the HP Pavilion HPE h8-1120une fan

  Hello!

  I got a desktop computer HP Pavilion HPE h8-1120une for about 2 months now and he was executed brilliantly (Windows 7 64-bit).  This morning when I turned on, the computer was much stronger than usual.  Installed the latest BIOS and F10 had started to see that the speed of the CPU fan 4500 rpm and the system fan speed 2500 RPM.  This seems quite high.

  The noise is obviously a bit annoying! Any ideas how to solve this problem would be much appreciated!

  First try this procedure .

  Use a can of compressed air to blow the dust out of the heatsink from the CPU, although with a cold PC it might not solve the problem.

  Try to clear the CMOS memory.

  You might consider trying the B key over the Windows key, and then press the power button.  This could the bios image backup pickup if it is stored on the PC.

  Contact HP support and ask the ROM/BIOS recovery procedure. Recent HP PC will store a backup of previous BIOS level.  HP support number is 800-474-6836 or 800-HPINVENT or online here.

• HPE h9-1120une Phoenix - cooling by water + GPU upgrade potential

  I don't know if the (Australian version) HPE h9-1120une is confirgured to water-cooling. We know? Also, I thought of passage, its Ge Force GTX 580 GPU in a GeForce GTX 680 (or maybe even the Titan). This machine may be able to get the most out of these graphics cards high end? Power is a unit of 600 watts, however it does'nt say how much energy is actually available to rails - it might be loose enough under load, but I don't know. Is all good motherboard? Here are the specs:

  The build-your-own PC brigade are pretty scathing on the subject of these pre-built HPs. However, since the specifications, they look like machines pretty decent and useful upgrade. The pearls of wisdom appreciated.

  If you are looking to upgrade to improve performance, then it seems that we've covered all the bases. There are minor improvements, you could do (that is, better intake/exhaust fans, SSD), but these upgrades would be definitely available, I doubt that they will be needed. I hope this covers your questions. I understand you want to gather all the possible information before diving into this purchase, but if you are looking for a "scalable" gaming PC, I'm sure you will be delighted with the h9 Pheonix HPE

• Fan brand new Pavilion HPE h8-1120une System (case) is much too loud

  Just received delivery of the new Pavilion HPE PC.  Turned on the PC and the fan is way too noisy.  Applied just latest Bios Rev 7.12 and took a look in the Bios and can see the system fan speed is constantly running a little over 4000 rpm and the CPU turns fan I think a little over 2000 rpm, there are no adjustable parameters for the thermal options.

  The system fan is the noise, the power supply fan is not yet noticeable.

  Any ideas how to solve this problem would be much appretiated.  I'll try to call HP support tomorrow and see what they can do...

  This problem has been solved, solved by simply moving the PC in den where I wanted to put in place, and then he moved to my study! I have absolutely no idea why this has solved the problem.   John, welcome to the forum.

  The video cardback in your case.  It is 6 "x 4,38".  However, the power supply unit (PSU) in the computer is only 300W.  The card requires at least a 400W POWER supply.  This would require an upgrade of the PSU, as well.  In addition, the card has a connector 6 extra pins.  The current PSU will not have the necessary cable for extra power.

  I like to use Newegg to review components.  Normally, they have the best section 'Technical data' for the products they sell.

  Tried FN F7 etc, but no good.  Screen is too bright, especially when displaying pages with a white background. Any help gratefully accepted!
