  The question is not "Rename/create a new file... does not make any change" but Windows Explorer tree is not refreshing.   If you press F5 or refresh on the view menu, you will see the change. appear.
  There are several possible causes for this, including a problem with your antivirus software, a problem of lack of mapped drives, malware and more.  I suggest you first see if it occurs also in safe mode, and then click Selective Startup Mode.  If you look for something like "windows 7 is no refreshing views of folders", you will find many discussions on this problem and the potential causes.

• Difficulties to use the swf file that is hard-coded to display flv files

  I created a swf player using the flvplayback component to display flv files. The document in flash is 275 pixels wide by pixels long 130px. I also have my video component (flyPlayBack) set to 275px by 100px to display the playback controls. My flash code this is my simple as follows:

  I noticed the video formats are different, but not the size of the video player, is - do a thing called elongation? Is it possible to change this by using my simple actionscript code above?

  For me the first two screen captures look like you set bad size l / h/screen. I don't see any scaling of the player at all... only the black bars on the sides because the video did not fill the video player display together.

  And Yes, there are way to display Flash video NetStream, much more powerful and versatile called. You can design your own player and better control the display. I always use NetStream rather than the FLVPlayback instance.

  But if you're having sizing issues presented during the creation of the video... then the drive itself will not necessarily fix it. You need to know the correct display size and the report l / h for each video that you want to display.

  However, you can adjust slightly the size of the screen for each video using some actionscript... as you see here:

• Several loaded FLV files

  In my main script, I have a few buttons. When you click on a button you are diverted to the an image tag in the main timeline.

  When the timeline stops to say frame 2 that a flv is loaded into a clip of blank film on the main stage.  If you click on the button 2, same thing. In total I have so about four FLV this room when a button is pressed. If I go to by clicking my buttons to test the sweetness of my flv, after that about three clicks of navigation between my flvs frames/load my film main set becomes slower.

  Each FLV is about 5 MB.

  The following code gets start when I click on my button and taking me to this image. My question is, if I jump between FLV with each click of a button is the FLV file that always plays first play and causing the main movie together to slow down? Is there a better way to handle this? What I need to unload the film play when I click? I'm trying to see if there is a better way to have a smooth streaming of my flv. The flv file which becomes able to simply start looping when it's done and servers background 'mobile '.

  is there something else can I implement in my code that will keep my smooth game flv load? Thank you

  After some trial and error, I have the winning code and the solution. My action script resided inside the physical video I created that was charge my external swf. I decided to try to work around it and put the code on the main timeline of the main SWF and it worked! Thank you for assiting me everyone.

  I don't know about an AIR application, but you can do any Flash video player, you want to create in a stand alone, simply by publishing it as a file "Projector". Then create your own custom player and include your own brand image in the design.

  Or does have a "go to file"? Have never added that for a player vid so I don't know how it works.

  Only accept FLV files to 40 KB? Ouch... Well, I'll tell you this, I never work on ads or banners, etc., so I don't have to deal with these strict file size settings. But, when it comes to video, you have only one option to reduce the size of the file: Compress compress compress.

  You must choose a very low flow (aka the flow) of your FLV video file when you compress the MOV file. And, probably, it will make it look pretty crumby... You need to define your data until the absolute minimum setting rate.

  Data rate is the measure in Kbps (kilobits per second), such as 700 Kbps (a rate of data current, typical for video which is suitable for high speed Internet).

  Either way, I find rather strange they need for a video file, from a simple Flash SWF animation, small (which is more to do with my banner / bandwidth limit not taken conscience than anythings, however). It makes your job a little more difficult and adds seemingly useless measures... They really demand that all THE animations of the banner of the video and not the Flash SWF animations? Make sure that you know 100% what their specs are AND also ask to see other examples of ad banner you can see the evidence that the other animations have received tot hem with the same specifications. I can't believe that a video file will be<>

  Familiarize themselves with the help of Adobe Media Encoder. If you are not comfortable using it, simply search online tutorials on this subject, which won't be easy to find.

  See the image as an attachment. I did a 60 image SWF animation (30 frames per second, duration total only 2 seconds) of a busy area at top left to stage right, less than 300 x 200 (per your spec) size. Nothing Basic, simple, crazy. Flash, I exported the MOV file and introduced the present in Adobe Media Encoder CS5. Definition of the new video to FLV format and affecting the data rate 5 (crazy low setting). The file size came down to ~ 110 KB.

  I'm pretty new Flash and working with MX 2004 with Flash 2. I tried several methods to play an external. FLV file. Some ideas for this forum and others of the Flash help system. Either I don't understand their and/or I'm not their implementation properly, but nothing has worked. I read of a FLVPlayback component and my system has a component in the component window MediaPlayback. I also saw yards of actionscript to read these files. Can someone give me a basic/simple method, with example code or button-to-push if necessary, to have one. SWF play an external. FLV via my MX 2004 system? Thank you

  I am able to get the preloader Flash works with say an image as a JPG, but when I try to have the preloader load a video that does not work. I read that to use a FLV file it must be embedded in a SWF file for preloader can work with it. A problem with the incorporation of the FLV file in the SWF file is that the sound does not match with the video after this conversion which can be somewhat fixed by changing the FPS.

  Needless to say that I was not able to get this working properly. I don't know if there is a work around for this issue.

  create a new fla.  Drag a component FLVPlayback instance on the stage and in the properties panel assign it an instance name, say the flv.

  then in the action panel use:

  FLV.source = "yourflv. FLV ';  where you use the name of your flv file.

  in the test environment to simulate the download to some settings you want or that you publish a server and test.  do you see a problem?

  I take a multimedia class and a class of Dreamweaver and bought the addition of student CS4 web premium. I created a flash animation and can play the .swf file but I don't see any way to add controls (stop, start, sound controls) to the .swf file. I want to use animation in a web page and Dreamweaver will set up a file of progressive download with playback controls, but is seeking a .flv file not a .fla or .swf file. I can't find anyway to create a flash .flv file. Media Encoder will create .flv files but not not using .swf or .fla files. Am I missing something? Is it possible to add controls to a .swf file? Is there a way to create a file .flv from a .swf or .fla file? To use Media Encoder, what type of file I create using flash? Is there another way to do using other programs of the suite CS4? The .fla file is 8 MB so I can't reach him here, but I join the .swf file.

  I have attached a FLA that has a playback bar in it that I used in the past.  This is Actionscript 2.  Remove the .swf from the end of the file name before opening.

  Essentially, it works like this:

  1. place the play bar on its own layer that spans the length of the animation.

  2. change the graph of the playback bar to fit your needs.  IF you change the width of the bar, you need to change the code a bit more.  In the 'progress bar' symbol there is a layer of code called 'functions' in this code, you will find multiple instances of the '602' number is the actual width of the runway rectangle.  If you change the width, change this number to match, otherwise the bar break.

  If you do not need to worry about file size, MOV and AVI give you the option to export uncompressed.  This creates a very large file, but you will avoid the double-compression.

• A double click of files no longer works.

  As I installed Microsoft Office 2011 for Mac on my MacBook Pro, there are a lot of files that I can not open more using double click. I tried to change the double-click settings in the preferences panel, and by assigning a specific application for opening each type of problematic file using the button 'Open with' in the information panel, nothing happens.

  I also tried to restart the computer, and I fixed the permissions of the main HARD drive. None of this has worked.

  What is curious, it's only by double-clicking on a file actually seems to start the application. The application icon bounces for a while, as if she was trying to open. But after seconds of bouncing icon, the icon 'block' is displayed (do not know the exact name of this icon - it's this formidable multicolor spinning I speak). The application icon bounces for a minute or more with the projection of icon "hang" and then the application closes (without any message about some crash) or I use "Force quit" to close.

  It is, it prevents the newly installed applications to open as well. Today, I tried to open a demo app I downloaded a third party developer (i.e., not Apple), and its icon tossed around for a minute before he quit.   All the sources I found State that the package of value added cannot be installed on XP. I was able to rewrite the installation file to install VAP and its required files without problem.
  I am able to run the programs and the function. The only problem I have is that the brightness (F6 and F7) FN keys still don't work.

At the end it says under the issue, the "CD/DVD drive is not detected" and the status of Fix 'not set '. Note that, when I boot from another hard drive (with Vista 64 on it installed from the same DVD, just a new installation) disks appear very well. Also I can boot from the drive as well.

  I can't do a repair installation, since it must initiate Windows, and I can't load the disc. I tried to update my BIOS but that has no effect.

  Recently I actually moved this hard drive to another one, with another brand of hard drive and all the rest. Just like before, if I boot from another hard drive (this one with Windows 7), the drive unit-a Optiarc AD-7230 s - looks and works, and I can also boot from the drive at startup. But since the drive hard as I want to use, the drive does not appear. Fix it, etc. Device Manager gives the same messages as before.

  I tried virtual drives - Daemon Tools Lite and Virtual Clonedrive. When I try to add virtual devices to help, nothing happens. The new drive will be displayed in the Manager of devices, but with the same error Code 39 as the real drive.

  I could solve this problem. I started in Ubuntu and deleted the existing cdrom.sys, cdrom.inf etc. files (as in Windows, they were protected and I couldn't delete them), then I copied the files from another installation of Vista I had on another hard drive. After having done that, I updated the drivers in device, disabled/enabled readers and readers management that presented themselves.
