FMS Flight Simulator

I recently bought a Flight Simulator and it says the d3drm.dll are not installed. I went to a website to download and also move in the correct folders that the manufacturer suggests and still no chance someone can it help?

Hi Wwbcd,

The D3DRM.DLL file is the dynamic library for Direct3D the Mode selected, a former display technology of DirectX which was not included in Windows Vista. Direct3D is used to render three dimensional images in applications where performance is important; the most common examples that are games, CAD drawing programs and graphics editing software.

This error is usually a sign that the d3drm.dll file has been removed, altered or changed in a way that makes it unusable for your program.

I suggest following these steps below and check if this solves the problem.
a. put in the game disc into the cd/dvd-rom.
b. go to the computer, right-click the disk in the DVD drive, and select Explorer.
c. There is a folder called DirectX6 contains DirectX files, open the folder and check the other D3DRM.DLL file find the D3DRM. DLL file over the internet using your search engine favorite.
d. find the D3DRM. DLL file, copy the file and paste it into the C/Windows/SysWOW64 path
Make sure that you paste the dll file in the syswow64 folder but not in the system32 folder.

Thank you, and in what concerns:
