Folder doesn't "stick" in the export presets

When I create an export preset and then return later to use it, the folder to save changed (for everything that I've used the last. Because I use the presets to resize the images for my 40 odd sites, it's really annoying. This behavior is changed so that the screening remembers the selected folder? And if not it could be considered as an option for the next update?

Maybe you changed the folder after you've done the screening?

Try the following: select the preset, and then select your correct folder. Now - before you close the export - dialog box right click of your preset, and then select .

That should do it.

    Hello

I had to reset my pc, (10 64-bit Windows) and had to reinstall all my applications, My LR catalog is fine and all the pictures are intact, but my export presets are missing.  All my personal files should be on the computer, but do not know how to recover these and my module to develop presets.  Any advice would be greatly appreciated.  With the help of LR Cc2015

    Hi sfleditor

Could you check / uncheck Store Presets with this catalog in Lightroom > Edit > preferences > Presets

    Restart Lightroom

See if your Presets are back.

If so, you need to migrate the default Presets location in your former user POS

    Location:-C:------users------[your username]------AppData-Roaming-Adobe-Lightroom------.

    Hello

I used the CROPPING effect and added images key/path mask to remove part of a chart behind my subject that his shoulder moves. Please see screenshot inside Prem Pro (corrected) playing project, it works fine, but when I export the video effect is non-existent (see video). I tried putting it in a new project/seq and now go.

Not sure what you were doing but do not feature masks the effect of cropping. Use the opacity mask.

Or nest everything before adding the title.

  • Do not remember the last folder that I exported the export

I could swear that before I updated to Lightroom 2015.6 remind the last file I exported a file. I have now is having, navigate to the folder that I want and it's really annoying!

My settings for this preset have no marked record because I always do not export this type of file in the same place. Does anyone know how can I fix?

    Screen Shot 2016-07-06 at 3.38.21 PM.png

    EDIT 3: FOUND!

It is certainly a problem with the preset export settings. It turns out that, for some reason, Lr has launched a range with a 'destination of export' in all my Presets to export with the path to the folder that I mentioned in my first post. After erasing my old presets and creating a couple of new everything returned to normal, but as soon as I imported an old export preset and tried to use my "HD wallpapers" folder (Fondos HD in Spanish) would jump up on top of each export with this preset.

So I opened and former export preset and another with "textedit" to see what was different and, of course, there was a line that should not be there...

Note that on the former and before the 'export destination type = choose later' there is a "path of export destination prefix = /...» " line that is missing on the new preset, I created.

    FORMER Preset:

    NEW preset:

I have not found a solution outside don't erase this line manually or simply redo all the presets, but at least I know how what is happening and how to fix it (unless Lr decides to mess with my presets again).

    I hope that helps!

Original text: I have just connected to the report that I have the same 'problem' (Mac users)

After renaming some of my exports now they all lead me to a folder named "HD Wallpapers" all the time (which is a file that I use to record the images that I would use as wallpaper and the export-only, I have a specific folder selected) before it always remember my last location, which has been really helpful. He randomly takes me to the location of the last well, but most of the time, it takes me to this folder "wallpaper".

Edit: Rename this folder (Ex: "Wallpapers") worked but after overthrowing its original Lr name came back to her. I just tried it on my laptop (where I did no change) and I can confirm that my laptop Lr still remember my last file in the export location.

Edit 2: When you choose 'Select the specific folder' there is a menu drop-down with the 'clear list' option, it does not work either. I tried to create a preset with the main folder of the Image in the specific folder and rename my folder "HD wallpapers" once again so he could at least lead me to this one. After doing this he started to work as before (remember my last location) but even once, as soon as I renamed the folder of my wallpapers to its original name, he began to take me back to it again each export. So I would say that there is something bad going on here.

  • How do you remove the watermark preset in the file > export dialog box?

I'm new to Lightroom, but so far I like it. However, I'm trying to figure out how to remove the watermark preset in the file > export dialog box. I have some that are duplicates.

Open the Preferences of Lightroom window and select the Presets tab click the button labeled "Show Lightroom Presets folder...". It will open a window of type OS containing folders. Find the folder named Lightroom and it contains, you should also find a subfolder named 'Watermarks'. Your presets watermark must be in this folder.

I exported the photos in a folder with the photos sequentially named. Now I want to export more photos in the same folder, but take the sequential numbers where the last export was stopped. So if the last photo was named Apr_409, I want the following to be Apr_410. Not Apr_1 (1). Any advice? Thank you!

Hat is not a feature of Photos.

If you want to make sure your new export is sorted after previous export, change the field "sequential prefix" in the Panel of the export to a string, which will be sorted after the original prefix you have chosen.

  • Do some export presets take the privilege of cropping of your videos?

I'm trying to decrease the size of the file and try some of the export of the preset options to see what file sizes are... I'm sad to discover that the Vimeo preset crops on the edges of the image by a margin, in order to eliminate a part of the picture and come up with an image that seems to be "zoomed in." is a way to preserve the entire image when it is processed or is a part of some of the presets?

    OK, couple of things

First of all, your sequence is of 854 x 480 pixels, which camera shot this? What is your projected image size?

You try to export using a Vimeo HD, with scale adjust to set. If Media Encoder is scaling to the top of the video to adapt to this larger image size. Is this also your intention?

Here are the recommended settings for Vimeo to send material to them:

    Guidelines of compression on Vimeo

Your best bet, if you want to keep your original sequence frame size, would settle Media Encoder to convert to H.264 format with the guidelines given to you by Vimeo.

  • Preset and actual resolution to the export of the project

    I'm PE11 video edition.

Source of GoPro's 1080@60. He has not preset in PE for this resolution and framerate so I chose a preset with AVCHD squarepixel 720p@60 by mistake. Couple days of editing before I realized that it, and from what I see, I can not change the resolution of project now...

    So the question is:

If the original file is 1080 p, the project preset is 720 p and I export it with setting 1080 p - did I lose this quality/resolution? I mean, DON'T downsample my 720 p video and then change again to 1080 p? Who would lose quality result. Like trying to save 480 p 720 p etc. ?

Or maybe, it's just internal preset for the purporse only edition and in the end, I get my files original 1080 p?

IF IT ISN'T... Can I somehow copy my work on the new project defined as fullhd?

    faziasty

    Thanks for the reply.

Let me clarify the 3rd of the 3 for what I believe to be your choice for this project under the above circumstances.

Major circumstances... that's what you now... you set a project 720 p 60 preset for your project 1080 p 60, made your changes, cannot go back to set the parameters of the correct project (1080 p 60) unless you open a new project and start from the beginning. If you have more files 1080 p 60 to add to this project, fine. If this is not the case, head for the export of this timeline to 1080 p 60 content using the workflow details I already posted. I mean that the result will not be as bad as you seem to be projecting. This seems to be the only choice in the circumstances to save this project.

Thanks for the details on your question on why export same size of file for your 720 p and 1080 p.

According to the description of how you made the comparison, the same or comparable file size would be expected for these exports.

Consider that each will have the same bitrate (32 Mbit/s) and duration of 9 seconds.

    32 MB/s (megabits per second) x 9 seconds = 288 megabits

If we convert these 288 megabits in KB (kilobytes per second), we get 36000 KB (kilobytes) like the estimated file size.

Compare my calculations with what you have observed in fact

    720 p file, 35649 KB

    1080 p file, 35659 KB

    Please consider.

Looking forward to your results according to your schedule.

  • Why don't LR5 will save correctly user Presets in the export Module?

I saw several other people post this question in this forum, but none of them got a response. I expect no better answer, but I don't know what else to try.

When I create or edit a preset user in the export module exports the image properly, it does not correctly save the preset. I created a new Preset earlier, changed export it to hard, specified a specific output file, set the parameters of quality and resize it and checked the box to have give sharpening for screen. He created the jpeg format correctly, and it registered a new file in the correct location. But the preset file my settings was not in it. It's all default values, such as export to Email, size 500 px, no sharpening, etc.

    How can I fix it?

Well, I thought about it, so I thought I'd share the answer for the next time someone runs into it. It turned out to be the sequence of steps that was the problem.

I add me the new user preset, then setting the various parameters like I wanted, and then click Export. I assumed it would be to update the model and export the file, because it did not separate the button Save. Evil.

The sequence correct, totally counterintuitive, is to open the dialog box export, do all the desired settings, THEN click the Add button to create the new preset. You don't even have to click on the export button. Close the preset add dialogue after giving it a unique name causes LR to save the new preset.

So, there you go. I hope it helps someone.

  • I exported a .tif file and created a new folder for it. Why the file does not show in the catalogue?

The file should show in the catalogue?

No, the default export does not cause the picture to appear in the catalog, and it causes the folder appear in the files Panel.

There is an option in the export dialog box that automatically imports the exported photos in the catalog, maybe that's what you want, maybe not. I rarely see a necessity to have exports included in the catalogue. Most of the people the export only when necessary for the purposes non-Lightroom, and in this case, there is no reason to keep exports in the long term, you can always recreate the exported photo by exporting it again.

Where are the Premier Pro custom export presets stored?   These are the files created when you create / edit a parameter of export and save under a new name.

They used to be at C:\Users\Mark\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Premiere Pro\6.0\Presets but I don't see them here.

    Mac OS: /Users//Library/Preferences/Adobe/Common/AME/5.0

But since you have 5.5 it might not be 5.0 but the rest of the locations should always apply.

  • I'm drowning in the sea of HD export presets. Hi wanted to please...

    Hello

I hope that the forum proves again that his features as he did before. Cause my head becomes a little fuzzy now, of all the presets.

So, the big problem is that I want to export an HD project to a format in which I do not get an image wrongly cropped/stretched/lag/fake-frame-rate... I know it is not difficult, but I just can't understand it more.

I checked the other topics and discussions and found a few on more or less the same question but I have not found the right answer, sorry.

    Let's make a list of the settings/Info:

    - OS: Windows XP service pack 3, Premiere CS4 (and AE, Photoshop,...)

-My captured and imported images are shot with a camera Of Canon HV40 HDV and have, according to the title to display in the lower left corner of the first the following specifications: 1440 x 1080 (1080 p), frame rate of 25 fps and PixelAspectRatio 1,3333 (HD 1080 anamorphic I guess?).

To make sure that these are the exact specifications of my video files, I tried - following the advice to never come back from this forum user Bill hunt- import my video files in Gspot. But, don't ask me why, Gspot shows only that my files are MPEG-2. The file extension is .m2t.

-The Premiere CS4 screening I used to make my project is - to match the specifications of video files - the preset HDV 1080 p (rogressive), with the same characteristics as above.

-I do not want to export my video on youtube, I want to show the video to an audience using a projector, which is the reason why I want to keep the quality high enough. I don't know if I'll play the movie on a MAC or a Windows computer, so I need to make 2 versions (each of them compatible with the OS smoothly according to). Also, I want a copy of the movie in HD quality to show someone on a powerful computer.

-J' lives in Belgium, in Europe. Is how important it in this case? I know that the NTSC is the standard in the United States and Japan etc and that PAL is the standard in Europe. But this issue still to this day, with the rather, uh, global economy and fast export of products, etc... I don't know much about it, I hope you understand my question. I mean, what are the consequences of these standards? They concern your screen/monitor...?

-When I want to export - using Adobe Media Encoder, a export HDV preset with 1080 p, 1440 x 1080, ERP 1,33333 and a 25 fps is NOT SOMETHING?

There are other presets to export available of course, for example the MPEG-2 / HDTV 1080 p 25 (fps) high-quality. But in the summary it goes: PAL (?), 1920 x 1080, 25, p . It is just that the PixelAspectRatio on this exportpreset becomes 1.0 (square), right?

Yes, I know that final size is the same, because the two pixels are increasing in number, but shrink in size (wrong I know).

Should I use the export format? Stretch my image not cultures, shock...?

I'm sorry, for many of you, this must seem like a lazy and stupid question, but I can't understand the system behind it, I much appreciate it if someone could explain to me.

    Thanks in advance;

    Sincerely but dazzled.

    Jef

If the projector is able to handle the HD I have for Windows suggests the preset:

Windows Media HDTV 1080 p or 720p25 high quality with MRQ verified.

wmvHD is high quality with file size relative smal.

If it is a SD video projector a dvd will be enough
