• How can I find my photos in Aperture in the Finder (for Macs)?

  I have a full 8 photos Aperture GIGANTIC library. I have separated/cloisonne each year, except the last one in the library, 2014. I tried export library to a new library of many, many times only to have opening crash when I try to do. I am certain that it is because the new library would be great (I have a lot of pictures in the folder 2014) that he won't let me do.

  The size of the exported library shouldn't matter, unless you are running out of storage.  I exported a partial library with 100000 photos without problem.

  What version of Aperture do you use? If it is opening 9.4.5 or an older version, disconnect from the Internet when you are working with Aperture. Older versions are currently crashing, if they can't access Google map servers.

  To see your photos imported from 2014 in the Finder, select your Aperture library, ctrl + click, and then select "Show Package Contents".

  Open the 'Masters' folder and look for a 2014 subfolder.  It will contain all of the original images files for photos you imported in 2014.

  Looks like your folder icons are not accommodating themselves automatically you plan to do. To me, this indicates that you have organize by the None value in the view menu. You can change the way files and folders are prepared automatically by clicking on view > reorganize by and selecting how you would like that fixed.

  FWIW, you didn't say what iMac or which version of OSX, but reinstalling OS x is the only way I know.

  Tip #1:

  It is not El Capitan. I've never seen this problem in versions of El Capitan, or ever in Yosemite. Maybe you have some question on the computer that is initially only as a bad Finder preferences file or a bad cache folder Finder.

  Acrobat 9 is not supported on OS of Yosemite.

  You could face compatibility problems.

• iMac does not recognize Nikon D90 in the Finder

  In fact it is not a question just for this forum because I can import pictures from my D90 without any problem in LR on a new iMac. However, there are smart people who read this forum that I would ask anyway:

  My D90 is not recognized by my iMac as a hard drive, although my little Olympus E420 is. Unlike other cameras, Nikon did not provide a "choice of export" (mass storage) as in previous models. It is important to me because the camera thus takes videos and I can't transfer from the camera to the movies folder (or iMovie, for example). I am sure that I can remove the SD card and copy the files in this way, but it is a pain and probably not good for the long term of camera.

  Please don't jump on me for this but I have never experienced this problem using Windows. Any suggestions or is this the nature of the beast?

  That's the problem. Given that the unit will not work in mass storage mode, it will not mount in the Finder if there is no special driver available. If I understand correctly, Nikon provides a driver for windows, but not for Mac OS X, so you can't do it. As you met him, he will still normally work with Lightroom. • Why the finder ask password when logged in as an administrator

  Hi, I got a new iMac (2015) since a backup time machine of a 2011 iMac that 'death '.  (I know, within a period of one we are likely to see the 2016... refreshed models but I was desperate). Now, every time I make a change to a folder I have to enter my password.  I even deleted the password, but demand still appears. . It's just that, without a real password I can just hit enter.  However, I would like to use a password (even if I'm the only person using the computer) and I would really stop requests the constant "enter password".
