  There could be 3 causes why the sum of the issue download (Completed + errors + cancelled) is different from the question download started:

  • The user begins to download A folio ("Problem started download" event is sent to A folio). Before the current download ends, the user begins to download folio B. In this case, another event 'Question download start' is sent for folio B folio will stay in State "Download paused" without reach a final download status (Completed, errors, Cancelled). Only if the user will click again on the folio, it will resume the download. This is probably the reason why you see different numbers
  • The user will start downloading in the current day, but the final download status will be sent the next day. In this case, if the selected interval ends today, then the report will not contain the final State of download
  • If the opt-in user dialogue enabled, it can select "Do not allow" follow-up after the start of the download and before the download will reach a final State. In this case, the events will not be sent

  Sorry if it was taken over, but I can't seem to find the answer on the discussion forum, or anywhere on the Adobe/FAQ site. A customer me cornered on this issue, then I need to answer them as soon as possible...

  For the Professional license, I understand that...

  -If a folio is downloaded by a user, it obviously reflected in the download included/purchased package together folio

  -If a sheet is deleted, but then redownloaded by this same user it always factored into the download included/purchased package together folio

  But if an update to a folio is removed for users who have already downloaded this folio, the fact that the partial download for updates of this folio already exisitng County device of the user as a new "single download"?   Update folios downloads do not count against the download bundle.

• iOS - folio downloads does not automatically resume

  On android, when more than one publication is selected for download, only really begins to download and the other starts automatically when the previous download ends. This works well when you're on wifi and mobile data.

  On iOS, this works when you're on wifi. If you are in 3g, other pending downloads do not appear automatically and the user must click again.

  I also notice that when you enter a folio that is not fully downloaded, theres a popup if you are in 3 g/lte to warn you that you are con celular data and asking if you want to download. (this behavior is only on iOS).

• V32 App Bug critical: Folio download error!

  None of the folios will download in our 32.0.2 iOS8 app and our customers are very angry. This has happened for several days now without any difficulty. The State of the Adobe page shows still green, even if it is a critical distribution error that happens to a lot of customers DPS. A customer told us that the app shows 3G of space on its iPad since a previous downloaded question! Please fix this soon Adobe!

  We are looking to buy professional DPS membership. We have 2 e - pubs, we did for customers using simple editing. I try to understand what it would take to release among files ePub for use on the iPhone and Android. I know we have the Professional subscription to do what is $ 500 per month. I also simply read on the fichier.30/.folio more than 250 per month that are used. Im not sure what that means.

  Does it mean I can create 250 .folio of the files by month? And if I do that I have hundred payer.30?

  or does this mean that whenever someone downloads the app after that 250 downloads per month, it costs 30 cents?

  So then we have to pay les.30 cents per download with simple editing? I did not make anything on this subject.

  Lets start with the easiest part, you don't have to pay per download for simple editing applications.

  When you buy a professional license, you are given the achievements eitehr 250 (folio individual downloads) per month for your first year, if you choose the monthly option, or 5 000 downloads for your first year, if you choose the annual option. Note that this is only for the first year, no steps are provided for free your second year or years again.

  After that, professional level, you must buy packages of realization. They start a package of 10 000 achievements for $3,000 (Oui.30 cents per download). By fulfillment prices come down as the size of the packets are going up.

  First of all, what happens when a purchased package .folio reached its limit? I understand that you get an email inviting you to buy another beam, but the end user sees?

  If I buy a package of 10 k .folio. Folio and I have a multi-folio application, do these .folio k 10 downloads count for the entire application or do I need to buy packs for each question/folio?

  Is it possible to buy each year folios?

  Yes, you get notifications by e-mail in order to buy a .folio bundnle and are given a grace period to buy it. In the case where you do not buy the folio beam your publication is limited.

  Folio Bundle applies to all your applications. Download from any application will deduct the total Folio Group.

  Folio bundles do not have a limitation of months and does not expire before one year.

  No, just the Dev licenses. $99 per year for Apple iOS and $25 (one time) for the game of Google.

• Downloaded folios need to download whenever I sing in.

  I have two folios which I want to review with the ipad content viewer. I have download. But when I connect again later in the day, the sheets are deleted and im asking to download again. It's not happened before, any folio downloaded those satyed and could be seen even if you didn't sign in. Some reasons why this happens. Thank you.

  It is a known problem with the viewer that we hope to address an update towards the end of this month.

• How the download bundle work with Professional Edition folios?

  Hi all

  I tried to get information on specific issues without success.

  This is the scenario:

  We must develop a newsletter for a company by using membership of the company Apple.  First wave will only be iOS devices.  Second wave will include Android devices.  The newsletter will be around 4 issues per year.

  (1) using the montlhy members, folio downloads are combined?  Newsletter1, Newsletter2 will give us 500 downloads for the first year?  And after that, to have bought 10,000 distribute downloads between all folios, that we published?  The number of downloads available is affected on the profile of the user instead of individual applications?

  (2) no folio downloads expire?

  (3) if we do use iTunes to distribute the newsletter, how do we keep track of downloads? This occurs in the application when it is installed?  And this raises the question if we really need that the costs of downloading if we don't use iTunes?

  (4) If you are using the creative cloud (which only works with iOS devices) is going to give us unlimited downloads, right?  This type of folio works with the Apple company membership?

  (5) if we create the first wave by using the creative Cloud service, and later, we get the professional edition, can 'transfer us' information folio from the CC to the new Service?

  I've already called:

If you buy every month, you get 250 downloads per month, and only one month of value will take forward. If you purchase the annual version, you get 5 000 downloads, but then again, those who don't ride to your next year of service. Bundles of Folio apply on all publications in your account, not for an individual application.

  (2) those included in your monthly or annual expires at the end of each month or year. A folio bundle purchase expires one year after the date of purchase.

  (3) for the consumption of bundle download calculation that is done by the application itself, not iTunes. The DPS dashboard at http://digitalpublishing.acrobat.com/ will show you the download counts for your publications.

  (4) creative cloud only gives you access to create simple editing applications. It is a complete, stand-alone, application with your content inside. It doesn't have the ability to download additional content in the application and therefore no download fees and no "unlimited" download It's just a unique and autonomous, application in the app store.

  (5) If you start with a simple editing application and then want to switch to an application of several question you will need to re-apply several issue with App Builder and submit it to iTunes as an update of your existing application. Your existing content used to generate the application may easily be re-published (if necessary) so that it appears in the new application of several question. Your readers will see an application update is available, download it and then to have the experience of several question inside the app. If you recharge for newsletters, it will be problematic granting previous buyers of your application fees for simple editing to the same content in the request of several question.

  In the updated Viewer is there a way to watch the folio download size? In the previous version when downloading, it showed the MB and size as well as the process bar.

  Yes, but it's weird. Tap the gear icon in the library and choose "Remove from the iPad." All downloaded folios folio size appears.

To ensure that there is no break in the accomplishment of your publications, it is important that you purchase a bundle download of additional ASAP .folio.

  You can buy bundles of accomplishment of additional download by contacting your representative commercial Adobe, Digital Publishing Suite reseller in your area, or by ordering directly through the Adobe Store.

  Please note: If your download inventory is expected to fall to 0, you will not be able to publish the new digital content until you pass a renewal order. If we do not receive a renewal order within the first 30 days after your download counter reached zero, we will start to limit the enforcement of orders to your customers.

  I was wondering if we have charged to download when I update or download this new 'test' folio of the month? It has not been published, but it is just tested in the content viewer. It's the only thing I can think of where we could be close to hit 5 000. I don't think that this is the case, but we are stumped.

  DPS includes free professional 5 000 (annual) or 250 (monthly) files .folio with the first year of service. As you have month subscription you will get 250 valid monthly downloads for that month only. You can't see the free downloads of 250. for example, if you use 150 downloads per month rest 100 gets expire. You will get new 250 downloads for the next month.

  Customers who purchase Professional Edition monthly will receive 250 downloads free .folio with the first year of service. Additional .folio downloads can be purchased in bundles of $ 10,000 or 25 000 from the Digital Publishing Suite dashboard. Once purchased, download .folio package must be used within one year. Download charges are not refundable. Download packages can be purchased without purchase of the tax of the platform.

  I tried to remove the application viewer content and re - download a new version, I tried to completely rebuild the folio from scratch, I also created a new username Adobe with an expense account to try the folio with... and each time it downloads fine without error... but refuses to download on the iPad.

  Can someone tell me what I am doing wrong or what I should try?

  Doesn't sound that you do something wrong at all. It could be due to performance issues on our servers that create problems to download large files. Here are a few things you can try:

  • If the folio is not already published, republish it as private. Downloads of published folios are often faster.
  • Try to create two sections each containing a video. Download plus two small files is generally better than downloading a large file.

  If it still does not respond, you can share the folio with [email protected] and I'll be happy to take a look.

  We try to create InDesign files that have all the interactivity needed to make a publication to date with the latest trends. I'm trying to give these files a company that manages subscriptions and download the latest edition of each month. They would also manage creating various amounts required for all devices (iPad, iPhone, Android, Kindle, iPad Mini now) now read the magazine/journal issues.

  This "bundle .folio download" means that the company can download the usable files and resize them according to all the necessary devices once I have downloaded a problem? Or at least download the file .folio so that they can upload and manage all the necessities of app store?

  package .folio download fees = the charges you incur for each folio downloaded by a user of the distribution server. The tax is different according to the 'beam' you buy IE; 50 000 sheets =.40 each download (just an example no real price, aka, contact your representative).

  The .folio published is only useable within the Adobe Content Viewer or a viewer tailor-made as a completed/packed file for the presentation, so no, you would not (or your company) download of usable files (InDesign).

  Folios from the Distribution Server are saved as Folio downloads, they can be fact sheets published in Adobe Content Viewer (one without Blue Ribbon), Folios downloaded from your developer.ipa, Folios share through media social (there is a criterion for this) and Folios downloaded from your Live application.

  Has anyone found a way to disable the progressive download? I would like to make the setting as the entire collection/folio downloads at the same time.

  We call this "download content explicit", a way to trigger the download of a collection complete and mark for offline use. We actively write this feature now. Stay tuned!
