  There is no API to check if BBM 'works' as far as I know.

  As peter says, you can check the status of the coverage and if BIS/BES is not available then do run your application. The only problem with this approach is that the connection cannot be completely stable and you could try to detect the availability of the BIS/BES at a time where there is a drop of connection.

  You could solve this problem with a little reflection well. It is not that big of a train smash.

• CCS rules do not work when the site is published

  I'm working in Dreamweaver 8. My webbsite contains a few pages and link to them works when you click on a specific text. I made a hover effect when the cursor moves on the different texts which works fine when I saw my site, but not when it is published on the net. The rules relating to the hovering effect are made on a separate sheet, CCS, which is added to each page. The CCS-sheet is at the same level in the hiarchy of files like the index page.

• Menu stops working when the course is over

  Captivate 6, never send resume data are not checked, published for AICC. Course titles and restarts correctly until I get to the last slide.   OK, so my next suggestion is to check if the Skin Editor is defined for the table of contents allow navigation only to slides that are visited.  Maybe when get you the course module and the LMS bookmarking shunts you have too to a later slide, the fact that you have already visited the previous slides is not in the content.  This means you are stuck on this later slide and the table of contents do not allow you to click on the items.

  If this isn't the case, it's maybe a problem with your LMS.  Publish the same SCORM Cloud modules and test to see if the same problem arises here.  Try to use SCORM AICC intstead to see if the bookmark is handled differently.

  I understand that you have failed to access the bios. Please try this and I would like to know the results.

  • Turn off your computer
  • Start your laptop and immediately start pressing F10 about once per second.

  This should allow you to get into the bios menu.

• LiveCycle Form - submit does not work when they are copied to the new application folder

  I basically copied my application folder app1 app2 of request code; nothing else has really changed.  I even did a global search and replace for 'app1\' to 'app2\ '; However, the submission process is used to working in the app1 file no longer works now.  Someone please guidance on what could be wrong?  I'm not allowed to post these forms.  Thanks in advance!

  It is a good idea.  In my case, I was able to solve the problem simply by performing a regular expression replacement:

  "\bapp1\b" with "app2"; of course, it's high risk, as "app1" was everywhere in my particular project.  In addition, the "xml" of resource file needs to be renamed in app2 when they are copied to the adobe/config file to avoid a collison name (if separate app1 and app2 to work).  For me, it worked; However, I could easily imagine a project where all this change of name would cause problems, I hope that those who would be easily traceable.  But thanks for the answer, it is always appreciated.

• thumbnail opacity settings do not work when the preview or published

  I placed an empty slideshow on a page and then reduced the opacity of the miniature trigger to 1% yet when I publish or an excerpt of the page thumbnail opacity is 100%. It seems fine in design mode. Any help would be great. Thank you.

  I just found the answer to my own question. The miniature State has been defined as Active instead of the normal. I changed opacity for all States, and now it works fine.

• Click on boxes that have a link to open a file or a URL do not work when the file is published.

  When you insert a click on a slide box, you are given the option to choose what happens "on success". I chose to open a file or a URL. When I press F4 to display a preview of the slide or a file, the links work correctly. But, when the file is completely released on a Flash SWF/HTM file, it does not work. • Rollover slidelets does not work when published

  Hello

  I use CP5.5 for a course that uses of many rollover slidelets.  Everything works as expected when previewing slides in Captivate, however the rollover slidelets do not work when the course is published and displayed in a browser.

  Any idea what could be the cause?

  Your project file may be confronted with corruption.  You insert each of these slidelets using the Insert menu or do you by chance just copy and paste the same?  I have seen this practice sometimes cause problems.

  Try to create a new empty project, and then insert a few slidelets test using the Edit menu.  They work when this project is published?  If so, at least you know that your installation of Cp is very good.

  Try to hide the slides in your project according to the suggestions in this post:

  Maybe it's that corruption is limited to one or several slides and you can resolve it by rebuilding the slides.

• WIN8 Narrator still works in the ease of access

  Although the Narrator is supposed to be disabled (unchecked) it still works when I open ease of access.  He moves an option to option button and keep talking.  Annoys the hell outta me.  How can I disable that?  Thank you.

  It will work in the ease of access screen regardless of settings

  You can however he cut through voice options, setting the Volume to 0 or it cut through the Volume mixer

  I use a hidden iFrame which loads a page using CFHEADER and CFCONTENT to disseminate an Excel of a form submission.  I'm _trying_ to use JavaScript to change the value of the button element that sends the form to the parent page.

  I see no success.  JavaScript still works when a page using CFHEADER and CFCONTENT?

  I can't even a simple JS alert() to work.

  When exactly the problem occur?
   
  Follow the steps below and check if that helps.
   
  Step 1:
   
  Test the issue in safe mode and check if the keyboard is blocked.
   
  Step 2:
   
  If your computer very well in Safe Mode functions, you can put your system to boot and check if any third party or any service application is causing the problem and therefore the computer to freeze.
