• Unable to connect to a wireless network - "the network card know driver or hardware related issues.

  Can someone help with the following problem please?

  I'm unable to connect to the wireless network.

  I have an Acer Aspire 5315 with an Atheros AR5007EG wireless adapter. This shows that "working properly" in the Device Manager. I tried to re - install the drivers for it constantly. They seem to everyone install ok but I still have the problem.

  The symptoms are...

  (1) if I try to set up a wireless connection, I get "unexpected error occurred". There is no useful looking for messages in the event viewer.

  (2) if I use "Diagnose and repair" I get "knows the network adapter driver or hardware related issues.

  I uninstalled everything which I think could be the cause of conflicts. I scanned for malware. I have run chkdsk and sfc. I have all the updates from Windows Update. I tried in Safe Mode with networking, but still get the same results.

  OS is Vista Home Basic 32-bit SP2.

  I would be grateful for any advice that might help solve this please.

  I have now re-installed Windows and everything works fine.  I still have no idea what caused the problem, or if it could have been set without a re - install.

  I am new to ODI. I have a couple of store data related issues. In fact, I am facing some problems, so I would like to have clarification.
  
  1. I imported the definition of a database table in a model. Later, I added a few columns to the database table. However, after having overthrown the model the new columns did not appear as a column in the data store. When I click on view the data, I could see the new columns. I expect that the new columns should have been displayed in the model tree.
  
  2. the key constraints have been defined in the database schema before reversing the model. However, these do not appear in the model. However, primary key constraints are listed.
  2A. I manually created the FK constraints in the model. On the definition tab, I gave the same name as it appears on the database. Also, I chose the type of the constraint as a reference database. And I checked activate on the database check box. These three steps are correct? The columns tab was completed as one might expect.
  
  These questions really (1 and 2), or am I missing a step? If I miss the point 2, to create the FK constraints manually, are my steps like 2 correct?
  
  I use ODI 10.1.3.5 and Oracle 11 g 2.

  Yes. You can install ODI 11 g at the same time at ODI 10 g.

  This issue could be due to the switchable graphics on your laptop. As soon as you unplug the device, the laptop uses the graphics card integrated to save battery, which reduces the FPS in the game and it starts the slow race.

  Open Catalyst Control Center and configure switchable graphics to use the ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4250 graphics card even when you run out of battery.

• File access related issues

  I use windows XP on my desktop.
  I am computer access Windows 7 from my desktop using Citrix receiver.
  My local office disks are mounted on the machine windows 7 that I can access through Citrix.
  
  After local drives are mounted there and when I try to access drives the on the remote computer for the first time, a window pops up asking the disk permissions (if read alone read writing etc.).
  By mistake I selected the "do the same for all readers' and selected reading only option. Now, all readers the mounted on the machine windows 7 have only read access.
  To change the folder permissions-
  I tried right-clicking on the folder and access to properties. But it is to say "the properties of this element do not exist.
  Please suggest me another method to change permissions of folder or cancel this option "do not ask me check."

• Direct access the 4 G/LTE Verizon's internet connectivity-related issues

  During an attempt to access remotely via a Direct access to a tablet with 4 G/LTE from Verizon, we are unable to access the internet. Before the installation of a Direct access on the Tablet, 4 G high-speed worked fine, but once the Tablet has been recreated for a Direct access, we no longer had access to the internet. A call to Verizon revealed that the Tablet has been connected to the system of Verizon, but is was not connected to IPv4 or IPv6, and whether Verizon could not move forward. Are there Direct access settings that should be addressed in order to allow access to broadband (4 G SIM chip)? Thank you.

  It's a problem with forms (of course) and the hotfix is applied using OPatch.
  
  OPatch must the relevant oraInventory and we have a number of them.
  
  My doubt is which oraInventory pointer oraInst.loc?

  inventory_loc = / mnt/oraenv/envdb/oraInventory
  
  and applications
  inventory_loc = / mnt/env/apps/tech_st/oraInventory
  
  I was going to point to applications, since it is part of the installed applications, but my only doubt is because it uses Opatch and in my time, I've only used Opatch to patch database, never for related applications questions.

  There is an oraInst.loc in the $IAS_ORACLE_HOME pointing
  inventory_loc = / mnt/env/apps/tech_st/oraInventory

  so I'm sure that it is set before you run the hotfix.

  This should be the correct oraInventory.

  OK, I have some basic conceptual perhaps questions of you, assistants can answer. I use the flex SDK, I add text components to my component during execution, which works very well. Unfortunetly im stuck on a basic concept that relates to the addition of children.
  I can't seem to place the child, which I think is logical because how flex know how to position it until after its parent, that's fine, but I can't just trying to change its position after its created of the same function that it does not exist so I do an event listener, but I can not create the event listener that the child is still do not exist! ARRRGH! then I tried to add a 'complete' creation to the creation of im text and I get an error to do... so in short, how to position a child extra so I can' create an event listener and I can build an event trigger on a dynamically created child online?
  
  I thought to ask maybe for a children collection of the parent, but how would I know which child was that I added? Here's an example function I'm using to add text, but that's I got.

• iPod Classic not recognized whan connected to iTunes and related issues

  Whenever I connect my iPod classic to iTunes (Windows 10) is not recognized. iTunes then freezes after awhile of trying, it is recognized by iTunes. You can see everything on the iPod, but you cannot synchronize. Then I have to restore the iPod, but you can not recharge music etc. as the sync box has been ticked in the recent update. Then you can charge all your music which takes about 8 hours. WHY! Is this because Apple won't use their classic iPod more or what.

• Several media related issues with satellite A210-171

  I have an Equuim A210-171 which has a S-Video socket and a display ATI card I hooked up to my TV but I can't get a picture. I have implemented in the ATI Control Panel and have tried to connect before you turn on the TV, but still, this has no effect.

  Also, I tried to burn a TV show I recorded using Media Center (also used for the recording of the program). I have 2 problems...

  1. the burning process takes forever to fill
  2. the final result does not appear properly when played back on a DVD player. The menu appears and works fine, but when you start the program there is only what I can describe as diagonal lines appear on the screen. The sound seems fine

  I'm doing something wrong here or is this a known problem

  To get the TV picture please do not follow:

  -Start your laptop and the TV turns
  -Connect your laptop with TV using the S-video cable
  -turn on the S-video TV port
  -use the FN + F5 key combination and go to the TV output setting

  I did probably 100 times with different TVs and it worked every time. Many people always make the same mistake the S-video port on television is not properly active and because of that don't here are either no picture or the picture is black and white.

  On the creation of DVD I can't say a lot right now, but I can say with certainty that I designed using Media Center DVD engraving option. I recorded some old VHS movies as mpg files and created DVDs with no problems. I don't really know what you're doing wrong.

  If you mpeg files also try to use another application to create DVDs. try with Nero. It is very powerful and I hope you do this successfully.

• Qosmio G50: HDMI to DVI output Monitor & other related issues

  I would appreciate more help with this one as literature and research provided no firm indication.

  Situation is that I am awaiting delivery of a G50-10 and a DynaDock, and before opening the box I want to be sure that I can achieve key objectives. In particular, I would normally (in do not travel) wishes to operate the laptop with two external monitors and the lid closed. Media functions are a secondary consideration for the use of this laptop.

  The two external monitors are 22 "1680 x 1050 with inputs DVI and d - SUB.

  It is difficult to documentation, what will happen in this configuration. So, my questions are:

  1.
  Port d - SUB on the G50 will deliver 1680 x 1050 at 60 Hz?

  2.
  The DynaDock DVI port will deliver 1680 x 1050 at 60 Hz?

  3.
  The HDMI port on the G50, when connected cable HDMI-DVI external display, delivering 1680 x 1050 at 60 Hz for use with Vista applications?

• Related issue wireless on Equium A60

  I have a laptop Equium A60 and upward of unitll recently, that I would never use wireless, but now I do, and I seem to have run into a problem.

  The computer is (apparently) configured to use wifi, but when I went to turn on the switch on the side of the computer's wireless, it wasn't a slide, but rather as a "on pop, pop off" piece of plastic with no way to 'turn on' the wifi connection.

  Is anyway to turn on internal capacity?

  As much as I know WLAN card is not available on laptops Equium A60.
  Each laptop with WLAN card model has a WLAN sticker placed in the lower corner. Please check if such sticker is placed on your laptop s down.
