For the migration of LabVIEW VI Analyzer

Hi all

I remember hearing that the VI Analyzer can be used to check for issues related to migration between versions of LabVIEW.

We already have VI Analyzer, but can someone please point me in the right direction to get the VI Analyzer test resources.

Thank you

    You can connect otherwise?  USB or FireWire or love at first sight?  You can connect both machines and start the one you want to transfer to target disk mode.  If your other machine is up and running with an account on it and you just want to move files, you can simply drag and drop the FRO the machine mounted TDM, or you can use the migration wizard.

    Or, if the other machine still starts and runs, you can start both computers and connect to the same wifi network and share the hard drive like machines on the network.  Access them in the finder on the new machine files and drag-and - drop, or use the wizard migration, on wifi.

  • Attempt to determine the space required for the migration of the opening...

    Hello:

    I'll put together a plan to migrate from Aperture to Lightroom.  My research is coming short on a particular issue... If I use Adobe plug-in to convert, if it changes the file system existing opening, thus converting the Lightroom folder structure?  Or, is, in essence, "duplicate" files by creating a new set for Lightroom and leaving the intact existing opening?

    If it gives all existing files, I'm fine.  If it is redundant with, I have to approach differently - since my opening set is about 400 GB, and I have about 100GB left on my drive.

    I've almost worn out G for Google tries to find an answer.  Your help is appreciated.

    Thank you!

    PS I posted this on the General discussion of Lightroom, but I have received no feedback.

    The migration tool calculates the space required before continuing. It really depends on if your Aperture library is managed or referenced. In the case of a managed library, your images will be get duplicated in order to protect the opening of corruption. See this link for more information:

  • Options for the migration of 9.3 per 11.1.2.1 planning applications?

    It seems that LCM is BI migration option + artifacts from 9.3 to 11, but I don't see any application planning in favor in LCM 9.3 - How did people approached application migration Planning from 9.3 to 11, in particular patterns of RDBMS?

    Usually, import us the existing schema and then create app and a new data source.
    Can migrate some app on planning for first time connection.
    That notice, it would be better if app owner of the existing schema is default admin app.
    After the migration if you cannot open an app session using default admin, try using updateuser.cmd to the Planning\bin directory.

    See you soon,.

  • Where is the correct information for the migration to DW?

    This page http://www.Adobe.com/devnet/Dreamweaver/golive_migration.html that is referenced on the page created after migrating a site at DWCS5 does not exist and has been moved to somepalce else. Does anybody know where?

    After the migration has ended you are presented with a Web page which, among other things, to have these 2 text with a link to more at the end. All very good if they lead to a place... No more than.

    Thanks Nini for all the information.

    The transition process is incredibly long.

    I mostly of difficulties trying to find equivalents (e.g. publish GL: still, if linksed, never... is DW to "hidden") who would have guessed?

    ScriptLib is created by JSE of DW, but is completely non-editable once the Javascript code is extracted.

    The components become library items, but are not referenced so change library Exchange item is no longer the "Component" in all the pages, it is placed.

    Etc, etc, etc.

    What absolutely enormous cost, it would be for someone who was working with GoLive and then go through their DW to transition customer sites.

    Just my own personal website took me about 40 + hours so far and I easily another 15-20 hours left.

    I spent a lot of time trying to find/replace a large part of the code, but then finally abandoned and decided, manually stripping all the owner of GL code (i.e. CS) before the migration it DW... Since DW cannot successfully stripped all the code once it is migrated. And now I'm rebuild hundreds of behaviors.

    I won't waste your time ranting, but I can certainly sympathize with someone who hates Adobe after their total abandonment of GL.

    Adobe could at least provide a manual for their registered users regarding the equal quasies GL = DW so that we know what Panel, button, name to search for.

    In any case... good luck when you convert your own site.

  • Excel for the use of labVIEW

    Hello

    I know you can use labVIEW for reading/writing from/to excel. If you use labVIEW to read an excel (CSV) file, what can do you with it afterwards. I've seen a few videos and tutorials on read/write excel files, but I've not seen one that uses the excel file to do something in labVIEW.

    I think that something like this is very useful, and it seems that I can't find a few examples or tutorials on this. So, I was wondering if someone could point me in the right direction to learn something like that, where you actually use the excel file in labVIEW, rather than just read.

    I think that something like this would be directly related to the type of data that comes out of reading a file, which would be as a string table 2d or integer. I was unable to find much on the use of 2d as well.

  • Why a transportable tablespace for the migration of the platform in the same endian format?

    RDBMS version: 10.2.0.4

    We intend to migrate our database to another platform. The two platforms are in BIG endian format. Search on Google, I came across the following link
    http://levipereira.files.WordPress.com/2011/01/oracle_generic_migration_version_1.PDF

    In this IBM paper, they migrate to AIX 6 of 5.9 on Solaris (SPARC). Both are BIG endian format. Since both are the same size endian can they use TRANSPORTABLE database? Why use RMAN COVERT DATAFILE (Transportable tablespace)?

    In this IBM paper, they migrate to AIX 6 of 5.9 on Solaris (SPARC). Both are BIG endian format. Since both are the same size endian can they use TRANSPORTABLE database? Why use RMAN COVERT DATAFILE (Transportable tablespace)?

    they use portable database - that they do not import data to the dictionary, not creating users--rather than use data conversion, they used convert datafile to avoid to convert all the data files (you will need to convert only cancel + system tablespace)-there are MOS Note: avoid Conversion Datafile during the transportable database [732053.1 ID].

    Basic steps to convert database:
    1. check the prerequisites
    2. identify the directories and external files with DBMS_TDB. CHECK_EXTERNAL.
    3. (coherent) stop and restart the database source in READ ONLY mode.
    4. use DBMS_TDB. CHECK_DB to ensure that the database is ready to be transported.
    5. run RMAN convert database command.
    6 copy the files converted into the target database. Note that this implies that you will need 2 x the storage on the database source for converted files.
    7 copy the parameter in the target database.
    8. set the configuration files as required (setting, listener.ora and tnsnames, etc.).
    9 start the new database!

    The site gives instructions for mobile information e-mail from Outlook 2007 to Thunderbird, are these instructions applicable to Outlook 2003? In other words the instructions will work on Outlook 2003, that I have, or are there different instructions to move the contents of Outlook 2003 to Thunderbird?

    All versions of Outlook import in Thunderbird the same way.

    They need for Outlook must be installed and only the PST files in the default outlook defined and loaded in Outlook will be imported.

  • Cannot find adpatchR12_AD_B.zip for the migration of UX to Linux R12.1.3, DB 11.2.0.3

    Hello:

    By applying the note: 438086.1 Section 2, 8. "" Download and apply the update custom with AutoPatch.

    Note: To run AutoPatch successfully on the new platform, you must use the executable adpatch included in this update rather than located in [AD_TOP] / bin. A compiled executable adpatch for all supported platforms is included in the ZIP Patch Directory/ad/patch/115/etc/adpatchR12_AD_B.zip file for 12.1. See the README.txt file located in these ZIP files for more details on the locations of the directory of the executable corresponding to your platform adpatch. This hotfix must be applied as follows:

    $ cd $APPL_TOP

    adpatch options $ = /hotpatch, phtofile

    I have download a patch from Oracle and unzip it but does not see the adpatchR12_AD_B.zip file. Where is the Patch directory?

    Thanks and regards.

    I think that the "Patch" directory is the directory of your choice, explicit or implicit by copying the original zip of the file itself to. Or a subdirectory of that one...

  • Browse all lines of database for the migration script

    I am writing a custom Java migration script and I just want to retrieve all rows from the database. I think it would be simple, but it does not work as I expected. I'm doing it with a cursor in a loop while cursor.getNext is not null. This throw myself into an infinite loop and does not seem to be at all not to step to the next record. code snippet

    Cursor cursor = db.openCursor (null, null);
    Data DatabaseEntry = new DatabaseEntry();
    Key DatabaseEntry = new DatabaseEntry();

    While (cursor.getNext (key, data, null)! = null) {}
    TupleInput returnData = TupleBinding.entryToInput (data);
    log.info ("line:" + returnData.readString ());
    }
    Cursor.Close ();

    Hello

    I didn't run your code, but it seems that you should use OperationStatus.NOTFOUND
    See the getNext() here method:

  • Necessary for the migration of VM VC

    I have a server of VC running as a virtual machine.  I have a new host under new data center and would like to move the VC server in the new data center.  Since the VMotion will not work in the data center, which is another way to move the VC?

    I can't stop the VC since I have only 1 VC server...

    the easiest way would be to stop your VM vCenter and use VMware converter to move.  Once there, turn it on, if everything looks well remove the a 'old '.

  • If I unplug the power adapter for my MacBook for 5 minutes during the migration assistant will continue the migration or the battery has been disabled in utility mode?

    I used the migration assistant to transfer my documents and applications of a backup time machine to my MacBook. I know that I need my wired adapter so that the whole process to complete due to the time it takes for the migration. If I unplug my adapter for 5 minutes the macbook will lose power because of the battery off in utility mode or power will be uninterrupted?

    Im not sure he could stop it, but to be sure I would just leave it alone, because if it is interrupted it could damage the macbook and time machine backup

  • Portal of WC - need information about the Migration or DB tables for roles and users/groups.

    Hello

    We are to modernize the WebCenter portal for a client of 11.1.1.3.0 to 11.1.1.8.0.

    Anything can let me know the procedure of migration or the involved DB tables that store the roles and the "user groups &" under the administration of security.

    A manual level by recreating all roles and users and groups one by one is my last option.

    Thank you

    Jean Claude

    Hello.

    Do not recreate it manually.

    The documentation must guide for PS2 - PS7 migration explaining step by step what to do regarding the security / policies.

    Read it slowly and carefully.

    Using WLST backup/export/import of your policy store scripts / qualifications.

    Following links can help you understand the WLST Scripts for the migration of security:

    http://docs.Oracle.com/CD/E29542_01/core.1111/e10043/addlsecfea.htm#JISEC3639

    Custom security infrastructure controls WLST - 11g Release 1 (10.3.6)

    We have migrated many times of 11.1.1.4/5 to 11.1.1.8. Always on the PS3 (11.1.1.4) version.

    11.1.1.3 to 11.1.1.4 was the biggest change from my point of view. I never had the opportunity to PSx PS2.

    For migration tasks, my recommendation is to ask for doubts or things not clearly in Support of Oracle documentation.

    Kind regards.

  • Question of replacement for the hard drive MacBook Pro Late 2008

    Hello

    My MBP HD headed to the exit so I'll take the plunge and get a replacement SSD to install it.  Being not too tech savvie I'm trying to cover all the bases before starting the replacement so I think I'm OK to get to the old and a new one outside.

    I read that a clean install of Mac OS X is recommended.  The plan is to install the new SSD and connect the old HD the MBP for a speaker for the migration of files once the SSD has been formatted and installed operating system.  One of my questions is what OS can / should I install in the first place on the new SSD.  I have the Leopard installation disc that came with the MBP, I also have a Snow Leopard install disc I bought (this is the version 10.6.3).  Start with the Snow Leopard disc or do I have to install Leopard first?  I would get the new OS SSD up to version I'm currently on (10.7.5).

    My other question is around RAM.  As part of the upgrade, I plan to replace and max of RAM, I've seen is now 8 GB between the two slots.  I read what the maximum capacity to 8 as part of an update of the firmware.  So the question is: should I do all updates of OS before installing the RAM?  The MBP would difficult treat 8GB if the firmware update is not installed through the different software updates that will be needed once the OS is installed on the SSD?

    Advice/suggestions appreciated.

    See you soon

    J

    Replace the RAM can be done at any time. If you have already downloaded the firmware required, it has already updated your material and will not be lost when you replace the hard drive. However, according to Apple, your computer can manage only a 4 GB. I could be missing something...

    See here: MacBook Pro (15-inch, Late 2008) - technical data sheet

    As far as your OS issue, the best thing to do is get the updated software to match the information that you are migrating back (to make sure no problem with migration). The best way to do it, is to download recovery disk wizard and install it on an extra USB key. This allows you to install Lion without having to install Leopard or Snow Leopard first. This will also use disk utility to format the new SSD correctly.
