  But I want to know what size of JVM segment are set for my java application when you activate the direct model?

  The TimesTen database is always in a separate shared memory segment, regardless of how connect you. In client/server mode, there is a separate server process that accesses the shared memory on behalf of the application in direct mode, the shared memory segment is mapped into the process's address space. The total amount of memory used is the same in both cases (actually a little less in the case of direct mode as you do nto need the process of weaning). Since the if allocated memory as a shared memory segment and not by the heap of Java you don't need to increase the size of the Java heap to use direct mode.

  It is not possible for you to do this settings, that's what the user needs to do to an end.

  Needs of the users to disable the PDF Viewer in the web browser plugin, now the PDF opens in the web browser & will need to be allowed to download. Once you have downloaded the PDF, it can be opened in the reader.

  I have a very strange problem running a particular software on client computers. The software cannot write to a particular file type (the. INI files necessary for the operation of the program), but only when he tries to write the file to the file of OS X Server (which connects via SMB 3.0). • PDF files more open by Waterfox. They launch Adobe Reader instead.

  I use the current version of Waterfox (v13) on my system Win7/64. As soon as I converted from previous version of Firefox, stopped PDFs open in a browser window, instead raising Acrobat as standalone application. I have never known this before and I would like to go back to the old behavior of FF/WF, opening of PDF files natively, with none of the additional plugins.

  Am I missing something obvious here?
