Forgotten password 6 figures - what to do?

Year 96 old friend recently got locked out its iPhone 6 more and it became invalid because he forgot his password 4 digit and tried too many times to enter.

Fortunately, we had access to her iCloud account and was able to do things out there to allow the reset of the iPhone from scratch.

After that I disabled the functionality of password entirely for him because he kept forgetting the code.

The other day he confounded, and iOS kept harassing him to put in place a code then he accidentally mounted one - a 6-digit code. Of course, it doesn't remember what it is. Not very high friendly!

In any case, what can we do to get rid of the code? Is all the same to turn it off via iCloud? Or do we have to do a reset of the phone scratch kind of thing once again?

And is it possible to get iOS to stop harassing him to enter a code?

Thank you

Doug
