Form created in DWCS4, PHP questions

Hello

I followed a line CS4 tutorial on how to create a form with validation.

If someone with experience in PHP can have a look for me, when you click on submit PHP code is displayed in the browser! rather than process information.

It's probably a simple error on my part, I looked at some more tut PHP books and online, but cannot see what is wrong.

http://www.epproductions.co.UK/charliepearcy/contactform.htm

Thank you very much

Mark

Hello

The reason why I asked is that it works well on my test server and as the display in plain text in a browser this normally indicates that the server recognizes as a file extension, but php not deal (not installed or disabled php) php code.

  • How to use a form created on the Capture of a vector

People, I'm having difficulties to find out how to use a form created on the Capture of a vector. For example, I open Illustrator on my desk and, although the form is saved in a creative library of clouds, I can't find how to open this archive as a vector. I tried everything from capture, but then I can just export the shape as a bitmap image. I'm really lost on this.

    Hello Cristina,

In Illustrator, simply drag the shape of your library panel in an open document. That's all there is to it.

I am creating a total field contingent in a PDF form created by me which will only add cost in total ONLY if the box is checked.  Another disadvantage to this is one of the fields (number of monitors), I am eager to multiply by the field notes, which is a field required number on there.

    All of them are select___

Here are all the names of FQDN (towards the bottom):

    Check the boxes:

    • selectiPhone
    • selectSwipe
    • selectMonitor
    • selectDesktop
    • selectLaptop
    • selectiPadCell
    • selectiPad
    • selectPhone

    Fields of costs:

    • CostiPhone
    • CostSwipe
    • CostMonitor
    • CostDesktop
    • CostLaptop
    • CostiPadCell
    • CostiPad
    • CostPhone

The notes field that will calculate this is "NotesComputer Monitor in notes". -It is a body of numbers forced the inability to put anything else in it.

Then add them all in TOTAL COST

Sorry for my ignorance: it's my first time doing a form like this.

Please see below for the screenshot.

How to add and edit text in the form created by adobe acrobat 9?

Actually, that's exactly what you should do, you don't need to create

    all fields again.

After you have edited the original and create a new static PDF, open the old

version and use the command replace Pages to insert the new pages

those in the old file. This will keep all the form fields in tact.

  • Google Analytics can provide reports and data from a form created in Muse?

My Muse site will be held by a third-party free image host, as I am creating a new customer. My client wants to be able to see a monthly report of inquiries submitted through the contact form, which was established in Muse. Google Analytics can provide reports and data from a form created in Muse?

Muse done files through the interface design approach. It actually has nothing to do with the operation of your site. And this forum is for Business Catalyst, Adobe CMS. And if you use not only a 3rd party then for monitoring etc. based on you or someone another installation the analytical code of google on this Web site. Muse has nothing to do with it.

Here is the departure of google for this guide.

  • How to export to PPT PDF so that the forms created in Illustrator are editable

How to export a PDF to PPT so that the forms created in Illustrator can be changed, not just the text above them? I used the technique of Acrobat Pro XL described here (http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/pdf-to-powerpoint-pptx-converter.html), to export a chart, I had created in Illustrator and saved as an Adobe PDF file, but the forms are not editable and are blurred, too. Is there a way to export a complete Illustrator graphic to PowerPoint?

You can go directly from Illustrator to PPT, either by the Clipboard by recording (EMF or PS) important for PPT. He has no sense going through PDF to reach a PPT in a workflow. If you have an Illustrator drawing to PDF, you can also copy (or change) in Illustrator to work on it.

  • form created in the ES4 will not save the data entered in acrobat readerXI

I created a big form in Live Cycle Designer ES4. If I save the form in pdf format and open it in Acrobat Reader XI I get the message that I can't save the data entered in the form only print it. All I want to do is to put the form on our web site for people to download, fill out, save, and send it to me. I consider another method that is if I distribute the form and take the distributed pdf and save it locally, when it is open in the player you get the Send button on the purple bar on the right side. This will confuse many of our users, so if there's a way to not have the submit button so that work, but how do I stop the send on the purple bar button?

You must activate the reader of the form. You can do this in Acrobat 11 open the form in Acrobat and select: file > save as other > Reader Extended PDF > activate tools more

11 reader can save non-active AcroForms (created in Acrobat Forms), but not the forms enabled for the XFA (forms created in LiveCycle Designer).

  • Creating a hot spot question

I am wanting to create a hot spot question. I have an image that I created for this question. I've identified "hot spots" on the image and when I preview the issue, hot spots are already identified before the user clicks top. I will use this issue to test the attention of person with ability to detail. Any ideas on how to solve this problem?

    hot spot.jpg

Erik, it is a matter of default access point, the hot spots have a default setting with a stroke of 1 p in blue. You must make this race 0 for width make the invisible race.

Select the hot spot, open the properties panel and set the width of the stroke to 0. If you wish for all the hot spots, you can save the style as default style, using the diskette icon just beneat Style (second icon from the left)

  • Create html page /php that looks like a popup window

Is it possible to create an html / php page that looks like a pop-up window? On my site, I would like to make a link to the videos of miniatures. My current effort has this work but in a new window, it seems not very elegant and I would like to create a page more in line with a pop-up design. This page to a specific size, has no navigation toolbar; no location toolbar; No status bar; No menu bar; no scroll bar and no. resize handles.

If possible can someone show me how... or an alternative? Link on the page pop up flv video which closes when popup loses focus.

    Thank you for your time

    Ralph

Not sure if you want a typical pop-up or a viewer window.

If you look at this test page, hit the music player opens a pop-up window.  But the video player opens in a viewer window.

The first is made with DW behaviors panel:

    http://cbtcafe.com/Dreamweaver/popup_image/index.html

The latter can be done any number of ways with Floatbox, jQuery Lightboxes or libraries of Walter Zorn ToolTips, to name a few

  • Contact form created a PHP error when you publish the site

    Hello

I used the feature form of Muse and then edited the look of it. When I published the site using the FTP option, I kept getting an error that says something about not being able to support something about PHP. Sorry, can't remember the exact error message.

When I deleted the form, the site has published very well.

    Any ideas?

    Thank you

    Jane

As long as the form on your site no - BC works and send emails, you can ignore this warning message. It's just that forms require PHP work on third-party servers and Muse is trying to verify compatibility PHP on your server during the postback.

If the forms on your website do not work as expected, please see the following guide - http://forums.adobe.com/docs/DOC-3581.

    Thank you

  • Create a survey - Novice Question of Javascript

    Hello

I'm new to Javascript extrememely.  I did some research on the Internet and I need to copy and paste the code to create the results.  I am creating an online survey in Dreamweaver in which users select buttons to answer the questions, and then the total results appear at the bottom of the investigation.  So far, that's what I have:

    http://sicolaconsulting.com/SurveyTest4.php

The problem I have with it is that on each line, the user can select more than one box.  I'm not so I thought of radio buttons would be better.  I then came to this:

    http://sicolaconsulting.com/SurveyTest3.php

The problem is that with the function that I use, I can't get it displays the value of the first line.  I need to calculate the sum of all the lines.

Can you help me to revise the script that I have to get my desired result.

Here is my code for the first page, followed the code of the second page.  Thank you!
