form created in Pro. Cannot save in reader

Hello

I have created a form in acrobat 9 pro (trial) and 8 (trace), whose customers have to fill out and send back (preferably by e-mail).

Now, I know it's possible with a button. But so is sending the data in xml format and the person who must import he doesn't know how to do this.
So: do I want this. Customers will fill out the form (in the drive), they can save the filled in form and return the complete pdf by email.

Is this possible in the reader? (no it isn't...), is there another option I should use? Tell me: How can I fix this...

Thanks in advance!

You must enable the feature for people with drive to save the form.

You will find the option in the menu "Advanced" in Acrobat Pro.

    Hello

I created a form in Acrobat 9.2. When I save the form and open it in Adobe Reader I can fill in the form, but I can't save the completed form, printing only.

I need to save the backup in the form as 'Reader Extended' but I can't find the option when I save the form in Acrobat 9.2.

    Any ideas?

I have a HP printer/scanner/fax multifunction, and after updating my Mac OS X Sierra, the "HP Scan" app does not allow me to save my scans more. Printing seems to work very well. Scanning occurs, but when it comes to saving what I scanned, 'save' button is grayed. I have read elsewhere on the forum than what has happened to other people using ordinary scanners (not multifunction units), but the software offered for regular scanners would not apply to my device.

    Hello

It is incompatible with the Sierra of HP scanning.

Download and use HP Easy Scan instead, it can be downloaded from the link below:

  • Form created in Acrobat Pro XI live does not not in Acrobat Reader for iPad

I created a form using Acrobat Pro XI, security is as shown.

Recorded as the other - Reader Extended PDF - activate more Tools(filling in form fields etc...)

But when I open it on the iPad, the form fields do not work.

This form will be used until the end of time or the shape changes... whichever comes first.

The form must be protected from users to make changes.

They are only allowed to complete and sign.

And Yes, I've studied this extensively, but no real answer except to not remove the password.

Yes it works, but the shape is is more secure against users make changes to the form.

I guess I should say that the forms are used for the declaration of compliance with federal regulations, where the need for security!

  • PDFMaker 9.1, Excel 2003, users cannot save form data

    Hello world

I'm looking for help with a problem.

I created a new form in Adobe Pro 9.1 bringing in an excel template.  The final product was beautiful.  I had our IT Department post it on our Intranet, and some individuals commented back that they cannot save a copy of the data that they have entered in the blank form.  I tested with others where it works very well.  I can't confirm 100%, but it seems that he who has the 'Pro' version Adobe can save and who have just the 'standard' could not be saved.  They get this message save a blank copy of this form, the data entered in this form will not be saved... "etc".

I tried to go to the advanced features in Adobe Reader extension, but that did not help either, once posted on the Web site.

Suggestions how to activate so that all users (1000) can save their work they typed in the document if they wish?

Thank you very much in advance!

Not explicitly deal with everything that is causing the problem.

Just a re obtw: 'expanded' PDF forms (which, if there are users of Adobe Reader, will have to be made use of):

When "extend you" a PDF form using most respect the "limit 500" of the EULA.
With "1000" end-users, you might well be in danger.

See Section 15.12.3 (PDF page 408 to 410).
    http://www.Adobe.com/products/EULAs/PDFs/Gen_WWCombined-20080205_1329.PDF

LiveCycle ES allows you to avoid this but is expensive.
Furthermore, piping on the entry of the user to FDF form and treatment which, at the level of the server, we could do.
To do this, you can have your people IT gives the FDF SDK at a glance.

    Be well...

The members of the Forum Pro first - Hello

Can someone out there describe in simple basic procedure, how a first time user start using Premiere Pro to the layer just a moving figure video of 5 minutes (a friend aerial artist model with white moving belt in silk on a rest mainly black background layer and a change to a night sky stars panorama I photographed previously?)

I know that this can easily be done, I have worked in thousands of still images with creative cloud for previous years, but not yet in video in Premiere Pro, so thanks for any advice.

I enclose the actual video that I use and some samples of the fields of the night sky that I photographed recently for ideas

I intend to make possibly more elaborate, but for now if anyone of you could just show the basic commands and menus/menus to start to do it simply and quickly. Maybe how to most later convert it tone black & white or sepia. The ideas here is to recreate a sequence modern suite of familiar German Film, wings of desire. Perhaps also a progression in the future to create an effect of the night sky very slowly turning into one layer background behind the main façade first video layer in normal movement. Then maybe a little further - how to adjust the speed of the front to a path layer more slow half price while keeping the substantive motion, the original speed. (* although I realize that I didn't do in 64 fps for the slow movement, I am not concerned about that and would actually welcome a light old world "flip effect framework" as if, in appearance of the films more former silent motion.) * In addition, possibly cutting on 'dead time' a few seconds at the beginning of the video and the 2nd or 3rd time for a few seconds of this unexpected error, when the silk scarf fell on the camera lens (without changing the audio timeline?)

    * (I use Windows 7 on a Toshiba Satellite L555 - [only RAM 4 MB. rates], 2009)

  • Save a form that can be saved in Adobe Reader after filled.

I created a form using Adobe Acrobat Pro Extended and want to fill out and that saved as it is on the hard drive of the person to whom it. I looked at how to do this, and he said: go to file > save as > Reader Extended PDF > activate additional features. I opened my document to Adobe Acrobat Pro Extended and went to file > save as, but it does not give me the option for Reader Extended PDF or anything. She has just the Save button which will open the box save as Dialogue. What should I do to be able to save what I want than this?

There in Acrobat 9: Advanced > extend features in Adobe Reader

    They change it every time.

  • Trying to create a form that the user can save on their own computers

    Hello!

I ' v has created a form with Acrobat X with some textfields and tries to send it to others who have Reader installed (X), but they cannot save the data locally, they entered. Why? What I am doing wrong?

In the end, I also want to add data to the form with a request (form WINDOWS.NET) and that doesn't seem to be a problem, but the most important thing is that users must be able to fill some fields manually, save it to their own machine and send back to me later.

Please tell me how to solve this problem!

You must enable the rights of the player. I do not remember where he moved in he AA X.

  • Recipients of the form cannot save the form with their entry

I guess I forgot something simple, but when I sent a test of my form (created in version 9) to someone, they could open and select boxes, filler text, etc, but cannot save their results. They received a message that the only way they could save their results was to print the form. Of course, what I'm after is a way for recipients to complete the form, save it, and send it to me with the fields filled in with their entry. What Miss me?

    Thank you!

    Tim

I mean the Advanced menu of Acrobat itself. I think that it is only available in

Acrobat Pro, however, so if you have the level then you may not be able to

    Do it.

  • form created in the ES4 will not save the data entered in acrobat readerXI

I created a big form in Live Cycle Designer ES4. If I save the form in pdf format and open it in Acrobat Reader XI I get the message that I can't save the data entered in the form only print it. All I want to do is to put the form on our web site for people to download, fill out, save, and send it to me. I consider another method that is if I distribute the form and take the distributed pdf and save it locally, when it is open in the player you get the Send button on the purple bar on the right side. This will confuse many of our users, so if there's a way to not have the submit button so that work, but how do I stop the send on the purple bar button?

You must activate the reader of the form. You can do this in Acrobat 11 open the form in Acrobat and select: file > save as other > Reader Extended PDF > activate tools more

11 reader can save non-active AcroForms (created in Acrobat Forms), but not the forms enabled for the XFA (forms created in LiveCycle Designer).

  • Form created in Acrobat 8 Pro is not editable in Acrobat Pro XI

I have created several forms in Acrobat Pro 8, using LiveCycle Designer. I've upgraded to Acrobat XI a few days when I learned it was unstable under Windows 7. I find now I can't edit my existing in Acrobat Pro XI forms because it does not include LiveCycle Designer. This has apparently been moved into a separate product that will cost me another $300. Also, I can't seem to save my existing forms to Word documents to re - import in Acrobat XI, so I can recreate the forms from scratch. I suppose I could print and scan, but which will result in a less readable form.

This loss of functionality and compatibility between versions is disturbing. According to me, I just paid $200 to get less features than I had before.

It also appears that the quickest way to create new forms in Acrobat XI is to download on FormsCentral. I am reluctant to download these to a third-party server and the resentment being required to do in order to keep all the features.

Is this a marketing strategy poorly planned to get people to buy another software (which is not the case in my case), or is there a workaround that I don't see here?

You must be eligible for a free upgrade. See the following: http://www.adobe.com/go/learn_acr_livecycle_upgrade_en?sdid=KAXTG

  • Forms, signatures... economy/cannot save

Having a problem with the distribution of forms and functionality.

I have forms that require signatures for multiple users. We distribute shapes on our own network. When some users sign and record the file, the file becomes ' you cannot save data typed into the form. Please print your completed form if you want a copy form your records. "make it unusable for users later. Also the functionality of sending is extirpated from the form.

I have enabled Reader extensions before distibution and checked all the security properties to ensure that registration and signature are permitted, etc... nothing makes sense. Please help - time and pulling my hair out!

    Hello

You must implement signature sectional for signature fields if you don't want the previous signatures to get each time struck down a new sign is placed.

For the implementation, you must follow these steps

    1. double click a signature field to open the Properties dialog box.

    2. go in the tab 'signed '.

    3. check the box "mark read-only.

    4. in the drop-down list, select the option "all fields except these" and click on the button named "Pick".

    5. Select all fields except signature under development. for example, if Signature1 is the name of the field on which you double clicked, select all the other fields in the signature on the PDF except Signature1 and click OK

    6. close the Digital Signature Properties dialog box.

    7. Repeat steps 1 through 6 for all fields of signature on the Pdf document.

P.S. If you want that all other fields also to be modified after the signatures, be sure to select them as in step 5 also.

  • Acrobat Pro DC just installed, but cannot save a PDF at all - except that the screen is blank

I just installed Acrobat Pro DC on my work computer and my ' Save as ' and 'Save' functions do not work.  Save as screen is empty and save made up a dialog saying that he cannot save any file (various reasons according to the file).

I tried to repair the installation, then tried/re-installing but nothing has changed.  Help!

Try this: go to the menu, then Preferences, then click the general tab, on the left. On the right, uncheck the radio button 'Show online storage in check'. Press OK in the Preferences dialog box, and then try to save again. The problem goes away?

  • "Cannot use adobe reader to view PDFs in your web browser" error in Windows 7 and Acrobat pro 8.1.7

I get the error 'cannot use adobe reader to view PDFs in your web browser.  Player will now stop.  Please exit your browser and try again"in Windows 7 x 32 and Windows 7 x 64 with Acrobat pro 8.1.7.  This occurs when you try to open a PDF file in Internet explore 8.0.760 or when I open a PDF file in Quickbooks 2008.  If I answer ok or cancel, the file opens normally.  If I open acrobat 8 first of all and then the pdf file opens as expected.  I also tried a copy of Acrobat reader, with no difference in the result.  Because this happens on two different computers a new copy of windows 7 x 64, the other, an upgrade to windows 7 x 32 and they used to work before moving to windows 7, I guess that there is some sort of incompatibility with windows 7 and acrobat.  Is this a known problem and will be fixed in an update to acrobat in the near future?

For Windows 7 you will need Adobe Acrobat 9.1.
