Format page in Acrobat Pro.

I have a custom page size in microsoft word on a Mac doc. When I create this 5.76 x 8,76 document to PDF with Acrobat Pro, it's a 8.5 x 11.5 document. I send him to a book printer, so I need the size of the specific documents. How can I do this? Thank you.

Hi ad48096742,

Please visit this tutorial on creating PDF files with custom page sizes: https://acrobatusers.com/tutorials/how-to-create-a-custom-page-size.

Let us know how it goes!

  • How to reverse the order of the Pages in Acrobat Pro ms

    Old problem but the Javascripts there do not work for me and the whole implementation of scripting in Acrobat Pro MS became more difficult.

    I have books that are crawled back to the front so the PDF on page 300 of the book is page 1 of the PDF and 300 of the PDF page is page 1 of the book

    I just need to select all the pages and reverse their order. But this doesn't seem to be an option in one of the tools for editing, organization of a page.

    Javascripts out there used to add a menu item in the menu "Documents":

    app.addMenuItem ({cName: "Opposite Page", cParent: "File", cExec: 'PPReversePages();', cEnable: 'event.rc = (event.target!}) (= null); ', NPO: 0

    });

    function PPReversePages()

    {

    var t = app.thermometer;

    t.Duration = this.numPages;

    t.Begin ();

    for (i = this.numPages - 1; i > = 0; i)

    {

    t.Valeur = (i - this.numPages) *-1;

    this.movePage (i);

    t.Text = "Moving page" + (i + 1);

    }

    t.end ();

    } / / JavaScript Document

    but I can't find any way to run this script...

    NO.... I went to

    Support/Adobe/Acrobat ~users/mydrive/application

    and there is no "JavaScript" folder there... I made one, put it in the script and restart Acrobat: 'Nada' nothing.

    But back on the web and research: I found this solution that works.

    In Acrobat Pro DC go to

    1. Tools--> [scroll all the way down]-->
    2. Customize-->
    3. Action Wizard-->
    4. New Action--> [scroll the left panel under "choose tools to add :-->
    5. More tools-->
    6. Run JavaScript-->
    7. the new action appears on the right panel-->
    8. "Set your default values: let him-files to process--> file currently open by default.
    9. Under the "execute Javascript", click on-->
    10. Specify the parameters (why he didn't say "Enter your Script"?)
    11. another panel inaugurates his... paste this script:
    12. for (var i = this.numPages - 1; i > = 0; i--) this.movePage (i);
    13. Click OK to close and then save the action...
    14. Asked to name the action,
    15. Name it 'Reverse the Page order' and save...
    16. New action now appears in the action list Wizard Actions "reverse the Page order.

    It works!

    In my humble OPINION of older versions of Acrobat had a menu scripts at the top of the screen, right, totally accessible.

    Of course if you were not 'in' JS you can ignore it... But if you * use scripts *, he is not buried.

    This new UX is one of the worst imaginable scenarios.

    Maybe the Acrobat team has lost it's top UX people?

  • Cannot delete pages with Acrobat Pro DC

    Hello

    I can't remove the pages of a PDF with Acrobat Pro DC

    I checked the properties and full control is thus authorized to change. I can actually change the text within the document, but I don't see how to remove some pages. The Edit function is accessible but not delete it.

    I'd be in a specific mode to delete the pages and if so, how access?

    Thank you

  • How can I change the current page on Acrobat Pro DC?

    I'm trying to change the current page in MS Pro, but instead of giving me an option to change only the current page, that he "convert" all pages of the pdf document scanned to make "editable". I wouldn't have a problem with Acrobat do this put that he significantly enlarged the size of the file when it does.

    Extract a page into a separate file. Edit and OCR only one page, backup and replace the original page with the newly edited page.

  • How to change the size of the page XI Acrobat pro

    I would like to save a PDF document with a different page size.

    I can't understand how do.

    For Acrobat X and earlier the Adviser was to go to the tool of cropping (or Ctrl-Shift-T) and choose from the menu drop down.

    This opinion seems unfounded more with Acrobat XI, eb as Cropt tool isn't any what drop-down menu, but Ctrl Chift - t leads dialog page.

    I'd appreciate an explanation if this is possible with Acrobat Pro XI and how.

    Thank you!

  • Cannot drag and drop into the bar of pages in Acrobat Pro XI for Mac?

    MAC OSX 10.7.5

    Acrobat Pro XI

    In adobe Acrobat XI for Mac, how do I drag the pages of thumbnails of Pages box in the finder and make a new PDF?

    In windows I can simply select the pages, drag and drop them in Solution Explorer and creates a new PDF pages that I dragged.  I've tried everything on my Mac and I can't extract this way.

    It is extremely slow and frustrating to have to manually right click Extract, select pages, open in a new window from adobe, and then save the file in the menu.

    On windows, I just select the page, drag to the folder and click Rename.

    The same question and found the solution, the wire https://forums.adobe.com/thread/1348512 try67in response

    To zoom back, so that the entire page is visible, then drag & drop works fine, well, at least, it worked fine with me.

    I admit, it is odd though.

  • How to place pages in Acrobat Pro on a polyester plate

    Try to position a 8 1/2 x 11 on a 19.375 x 12 polyester plates so that it is press ready.

    Also, how the pages of taxation in the form of brochure printing and saddlestitching.

    Right or wrong, I had not initially responded to your question but rather provided my method. (I dumped thousands of jobs)

    The more relevant question is "what motivates your plates polyester imaging device?" Most of the imagesetters are driven by a RIP (Raster Image Processor) that manages all the foundations of image placement on the final output. In most cases "ready to print" would mean that the PDF page size / specific dressing in the end.

    Who is responsible for sending a job to the imagesetter? Yourself or another? What is the platesetter device? One imagesetter, poly top of table plate manufacturer, other?

    If you send a print file to a device without a TEAR or RIP provides these needs, to your original question-

    In Acrobat and I initially would find it tedious, you need to set a size of document of 19.375 x 12.

    You can use the Pages > Crop > change Page size > tool size made on order and use the x-offset and offset to position the area of the image to the needs of press plate. (Experience the culture / skin)

    Booklet & taxation - Acrobat (Standard or professional) can perform multiple simple place and imposition of booklet. Pretty impressive is a plug-in for Acrobat, which is more robust fo these tasks. Highly recommended.

    PageMaker/PC/Mac - software opens files no matter what operating system they were created on. A PC can open a file created on a Mac and vice versa. Obstacles involve link roads, availability of fonts on the operating system and patterns of illegall characters in path names & file. (PC allow characters many Mac users may include: % # & * {} \: <> ? / +). Older Mac files are often without the file extension used by the PC operating system as well. Nevertheless, software to open a file, but the user must often navigate the file and enable the Browse dialog box option "show all." *

    InDesign will open Pagemaker files, but the results cannot be clean (the flow of the text can change), and is suspended with the release of XP Service Pack 3.

  • Can split ONE PDF page down to the middle in TWO new pages (XI of Acrobat Pro), be done?

    I scan a lot of pages of books on my work, and I have to be able to cut the individual PDF files, in order to get a book on each PDF page.

    I'm too lazy to scan each page individually-Acrobat Pro XI do?

    It should... I mean, it s very expencive :-o

    There is no built-in feature that allows you to do it directly in Acrobat. You can use the harvest tool Pages to remove (or rather, hide) half of the page, but this is a manual process.

    Alternatively, you can use a script like this, I developed: Scripts custom Adobe: Acrobat - Pages to Split into 2 parts and combine into a new file

  • I need to adjust the dpi when batch exporting a PDF file in format TIFF, Acrobat Pro

    Hi all

    I have Adobe Acrobat Pro. I use action tool export batch than several (approx. 425 individual pdf) pdf to TIFF format files. My problem is the resulting TIFF images are of low resolution, and I do not know how to set the export settings to get Adobe to export it to 600 dpi or more.

    If I jump the batch and each pdf file manually I can actually adjust the settings to 600 dpi, but I have too many files to do it manually. Also, if I use the feature to "combine files", bring all within a multi-page pdf, then export to TIFF: I can set it to 600 dpi, but then each file exported with a different file name. Example: "MAP5" gets exported as 'Page x of x' so I would rename of 425 files to their original file name.

    Thanks in advance for your time and your help.

    In the category 'Convert to PDF' of preferences, you can specify the resolution.

  • How to change the size of the page Adobe Acrobat XI Pro and Adobe PDF printer?

    We have a problem with incorrect page size in Adobe Acrobat Pro XI. It is installed in our Citrix environment on the terminal Server in Windows 2008 R2 servers.

    By default, the page size is set to 'letter' in Adobe Acrobat format and the Adobe PDF printer and we need to change it to "A4".

    Acro1.PNG

    Where are these registered setting and how can I change it? Is there a registry key or something else?

    I discovered, that it is possible to edit the template files ".joboptions" under "C:\ProgramData\Adobe\Adobe PDF\Settings" to change the page size for the Adobe Acrobat. What is the only way to do it?

    Acro.PNG

    But how can I change the settings in the Adobe PDF printer?

    Acro2.PNG

    And what do we hurt that the page size is set to "letter"?

    OK, I found a solution.

    I exported the correct Adobe PDF Printer settings with rundll32.exe, PrintUIEntry... and imported on all servers with PsExec.

    ".Joboptions" files, I changed to the good size of the Page and then copied on all servers.

    I have Acrobat Pro on my computer and I work with the drawing that have been digitized in PDF format. The scanners are not aligned or place because of the poor scanning process. Is there anyway to align the document even if it requires me to crop or lose some on the edges?

    Hi brad.

    Yes. You can use the analysis tools to straighten and crop your document. Here is a link to a new tutorial. The key to activate the sliding options recovery is to choose the option of the camera Image in the drop to Enhance, and gives you tools to set the correct page for smoothing areas.

    Acrobat Pro is certainly not the right tool for editing. You want to change the manual using the source - MS Word files for example. Once you have the full changes including OCD work as you want, Acrobat Pro is the tool to convert the source document to PDF format, and ensure the accessibility requirements of 508 - and preferably ISO 14289 (PDF/UA) - are met.

    If I'm not mistaken you use ICA scanner. This 'Still Prompt pages' option is not available for ICA scans from now. But we are working on that, and will soon be available. I'll put you once its available.

    For now please try the TWAIN driver.

    Thank you.
