  There are two events that can be used to check the length of the text,

  The first is the action event for the text field, which is called when the field loses focus, it is a member of the purpose of dialogue with the same name as the item_id.  This event could also be used to update another field in the dialog box that indicates the number of characters, you may even have a small picture of alert which becomes visible to make it obvious that there is a problem.

  The other event, as already mentioned, is the validate event.  This allows to block the exit from the dialog box and display a popup to alert to the user.

• How to disable the Advanced tab on the properties of PDF dialog box

  I have created a simple form on Adobe FormsCentral and noticed that the Advanced tab in the PDF Properties dialog box is disabled (user cannot change things like Page Scaling, etc.). While the viewer preferences dictionary is described in the PDF specification, I've found anything in the PDF specifications for the deactivation of the Advanced tab of the properties of PDF dialog box to prevent users to change these values.   The reason why the 'Advanced' tab does not change anything is because the exported document of the FormsCentral is registered with extended Reader rights.   The position of the OP, have been reported since a lot of this problem on the some notebooks Dell and HP. There are a few reports that a replacement of the motherboard fixed the problem and the other that the relocation of a certain connector (no mention of exaclly one that) solves the problem. Direct contact with the manufacturer of the laptop computer, Dell or HP wether, might be useful. Try a follow-up if you have already made contact.

• See the value of zero instead of "the value entered does not match the format of the field [].

  I use the simplified notation filed to perform subtraction on a budget form.

  They all have an excellent work and have no problem display a value of zero when it's a simple subtraction (value1-value2).

  However, on my last field I want to take the total income and subtract what I spent (approximately 40 fields) and get a balance zero.

  When I try to do it I get this warning "the value entered does not match the format of the field [].

  The calculation works fine and displays the correct value for all the foregoing ".» 01 "and displays negative numbers. 01 "and underneath as well (if I go on the budget), she just may not show a zero, which is my goal for this equal to zero each month.

  I tried to watch if the forms and have not found an answer that works even for my situation.

  Do not think of this as a band-aid, think the correct way to perform the calculation, because it is. Note that "Thithes" may be a spelling error.

  I have a form to determine the potential savings, if a customer makes our products to a competing product. Our sales staff filling in many areas that allow us to determine the annual cost that the customer currently committed, as well as the potential annual costs associated with our product. At the bottom of the page, using a simple calculation JS, it determines annual dollar savings by changing brands.

  I would also like to include the annual savings as a percentage of current costs, but for some reason, I cannot get the script to work. The error message that appears indicates: "the value entered does not match the format of the field [annual percentage savings]."

  Now, the two fields referenced in my script are formatted in dollars, so I don't know if this makes a difference or not. My script is below.

  In this way there is no division by zero or a negative number.

  otherwise it is not possible, you will need to write your own GUI to change the fields in contacts.

  If there are fields of password on a web page, you can't possibly avoid this dialog box.

  All these fields are visible, or some are hidden.

  You could try to hide certain fields if they are now to see if that helps.
  You can do this with userChrome.css code or the Stylish extension.
  The file userChrome.css (UI) customization and userContent.css (Web sites) are located in the folder of chrome in the Firefox profile folder.

  If you do not get the dialog box (don't know why you don't get it) you can open it yourself. Switch to the links tab (the tab is below the editing area in jdev). You find the action, you need to edit on the left side in the section "links". Select the link of action that you want to change (getEmployeesFindBySal in your case) and click on the pencil icon on the top right. This opens the dialog box you are looking for.

  I don't know if this is related to having two monitors or not, but on my machine, when I open the bookmark properties dialog box, it extends on monitors and the dialog box is huge.

  • Or use the Help menu option, click restart with the disabled... modules while Firefox is running.

  Do not choose anything at the moment, just use 'continue in safe mode.

  To exit safe mode of Firefox, simply close Firefox and wait a few seconds before using the shortcut of Firefox (without the Shift key) to open it again.

  If it's good in Firefox Safe mode, your problem is probably caused by an extension, and you need to understand that one.

  Want to know how a VI is made to work like a dialog box? You said that you have copied the block diagram for a new vi. I guess her you missed on the properties of VI. Try the following:

  1 Select the properties of the VI VI, on the file Menu, go to the window appearance properties in the menu dropdown.

  2. Select "Dialogue" as the appearance option and click on 'Ok '.

  3. save your vi and Run.

For example, I call the open TCP/IP command and if the port is not available with a stop of execution error, it throws a dialog box.
