  I set up forms and reports suite 12 c according to the instructions and I'm testing my forms updated since version 10 g.

  In some forms, I use webutil.

  I can run forms without webutil with the browser or java web start (everything works fine).

  I have problems with the forms use webutil tha, they work very well with the browser, but not with java web start.

  When I run forms with webutil and webstart I see all white and the "crash" application: I must leave because other forms without webutil also do not work.

• Question of forms 12 c IE add-on

  I try to navigate to the Oracle Forms Servlet on my server that my installation of 12 Oracle Forms. When you use the http://servername/formes/frmservletlink, I get a message of IE saying "failed an add-on for this Web site." I guess that it refers to the java add-on, but I'm not sure.

  So, I tried all my security settings of the browsers lowering so that the add-on would go. "" After changing the settings, I have not received the "an add-on for this Web site could not run" message but rather I received the following security warning:

  

  I clicked on install , but then the browser just stayed on a blank white screen and nothing happened.

  I know that this URL works because I can access it from my office. I just can't access them when I remote on the server so it seems to be a browser issue on the server.

  Any ideas?

  Recently, I had this problem too and I sympathize with you knowing that your frustration level must be high.

  Try the following:

  1. As Hamid mentioned above, try to install JRE 32 bit.
  2. Try the next address in all certified browsers (IE, Firefox, and Google Chrome, etc.)

  We have developed a form of Forms 10 g application that still works OK with Java WebStart (jnlp).

  This application interacts with other native Windows applications.

  Now, we are migrating this application Forms 10 g to 11g form and do not have a solution to get started with Java WebStart!

  We know that forms is not supported with WebStart, but someone has a tip or a solution for this form 11g?

  Hi all.

  I know a form application would not naturally go on most of the tablets as they are based android. Android does not support JRE.

  I know that there are pills on the market that run on windows 8. (windows-based tablets).

  Given the fact, Windows 8 supports JRE, I suppose this kind of devices (those based on windows 8) can also run application formsweb.

  Is this correct? I did check that, but I would like to know if it's true.

• Alternative text is more work for safari forms

  I upgraded to MacOs Sierra yesterday, and substituting Text does not work as it did previously. Specifically, it no longer works on most forms web safari. Is this a bug? I tried to disable and re-enable it in the preferences system, as well as within safari itself (Edition-> substitutions) but it still does not work. Am I missing something?

  It's a piece much missed feature and not limited to you, mjg_nyc. I have the same problem on a MacBook Pro retina and iMac. The two people that I just talked to AppleCare present the same problem too. I don't know if it's the Apple software or a new web protocol that prevents it being used, but there must be a way to make it work again.

  Please can anyone who reads this comment to apple via their online form - only with sufficient numbers will be do anything about it.

  Have you checked Safari/Preferences/fill automatic to ensure that all the boxes are ticked? Have you checked Safari/Preferences/passwords to ensure auto-fill is enabled?

  Check if the Mail application is in the login items list. Open system - users & groups - login items preferences. If the message is in the list, select it and press on "-" sign to prevent the mail to open the connection.

I made sure that the IMEI was clean and it was not on the black list before adding it to my Verizon account. Now, I learned about icloud.  Verizon has brought his number to the iphone and now she has no phone to use. I called apple, but I was told that they could not help me, but they might help the original owner.  They original owner is older and perhaps confused after I tried to explain what I've learned.  What can I do when the original owner is/was/still confused about how the system works?  I'm always lost in this world of apple.

  I bought an iphone 5 recently, which is locked (bought cheaply but) activation of the former owner. Of course, the person who sold me the unit doesn't have any info on the phone. BUT! I want to get in touch with the previous person to return the unit or get the activation lock removed.

  So I called the Apple Support and the representative understood the situation but he couldn't help me. He told me what network it is locked (carrier). After that I contacted the carrier and they said that they are not able to access users account.

  To be clear, I did not for all data, I asked Apple and the carrier to contact the owner to inform him I have his camera and if he wants it back because it's useless for me.

  Is there a way to get in touch?

  You could turn the iPhone to the police.  They may seek the rightful owner or have a current report of loss.
