  We are migrating our existing Oracle Forms 6i to Oracle forms 10g applications. The existing application is the server version of the client and we run the request transformed inside the browser. The current forms are designed to fit the current screen resolution. But the converted forms are at the origin of the scroll bars that little space is consumed by the menu bar and toolbars in the browser.
  
  Is it possible to run forms such as pop up window in the browser. Something like forms on Oracle Ebiz, where she launched as a separate browser application.

  The idea to run a Forms application removed from the Explorer is possible by using the separateFrame parameter. Simply set the value true (separateFrame = TRUE). The setting is defined in the formsweb.cfg file.

  If you decide to not use this setting and keep the application in the browser, you can also do the following that is often useful (once again, in the formsweb.cfg):

  HEIGHT = 100%
  WIDTH = 100%

• Run the forms on AS10 and JRE

  I installed Oracle Application Forms and reports 10.1.2.0.2 on Windows Server 2003 SP2. I use IE8. Everything works fine with Jinitiator. But when I want to launch the JRE, IE8 shows blank page form. How to force the IE8 run form on JRE?

  OK, I added:

  workingDirectory=
  

  And set it to the location of my base form. I also downloaded 26 JRE (jxpiinstall.exe) and put a copy in the LANGIS folder on the application server.

  That way the jpi_codebase will work and your download is controlled by you.

  The Langis should be at the same level as the Forms folder and probably the file jinit.exe in it. As the application server already has a virtual path for LANGIS, it works.

  The current version using helps to avoid the error messages like "Unknown Publisher".

  I tested in IE 8, Firefox always gives me questions for a reason, probably a security setting.

  It is a simple, a section App that I can do, but once you have it, you can build on that.

• Updated JRE version pop up to stop

  Hi Experts, we have forms and Oracle application when the user opens the oracle apps it shows all first update the java version because the forms first run JRE to check the client side java version. The user wants to just pop... as they do not understand all this popupp technique. How can we stop... We can update the version of java on every client computer to end... Is it possible to stop this and they can continue to use the application...

  If you are referring to the audit which is carried out following the call of the forms, in formsweb.cfg, you have decided which version of Java, your application should use.  Because your application has probably been tested with a particular version of Java, you probably want the user running the application with this version.  If this is not the case, change just the CLSID and the MIME type to use what version they have installed.  For example, make the following changes (not recommended):

  jpi_classid = clsid:8AD9C840 - 044F-11 D 1-B3E9-00805F499D93

  jpi_mimetype = application/x-java-applet

  If you are referring to the update check that is performed directly by the JRE, this has nothing to do with Oracle Forms.  It usually appears in the Windows system tray.  Read what follows:

  Hi, I had problems connecting with specific programs recently. I'm still able to communicate online through web browsers. Mozilla Firefox works fine, but Google Chrome still has some problems loading of specific pages or they don't load at all. The main programs I am having difficulties with are mainly games platform programs like Steam, Battle.net, and League of Legends, and I'm unable to go online or to connect to their servers.

  I never had no problem connecting like these last two years that I've owned my laptop, until recently. I think it was the 6th or 7th of may these problems started.

  I updated my drivers and was constantly check to download the most recent. I don't know if it's my internet provider, but I was also constantly check the State of the network to ensure that the services are very good.

  If anyone else has this problem and if there are any suggestions that you think could help solve this problem, it would be appreciated.

  Thank you for the update. I think that your computer have a rootkit infection. Most of them were inside of the Chrome Extensions.

  Here's what you need to do.

  Open chrome

  Click on the Menu bar in the upper right

  Click more tools

  Click Extensions

  Please search for suspicious extensions that does not belong to the computer, especially ads. Once you identified, simply click the trash can icon then Chrome close then reopen it again to see if you can connect to your desired game. If this isn't the case, then proceed as follows.

  Manual removal of suspicious files (if you are uncomfortable with it. If this is not the case, then run System Restore from safe mode with command prompt)

  Manual removal (I miss the old days of MS virus removal )

  Go to RUN type %temp% , and then delete all folders by pressing SHIFT + DELETE

  Go to Control Panel and then locate all the apps that you think a form of ads

  Go to safe mode with network. Run Malwarebytes in that State

  Then run Tweaking tool to fix everything that has changed since your computer

  If your not comfortable with the troubleshooting steps may perform the system restore on the day, it was working fine.

• Impossible to compile for different JRE versions

  I'm trying to compile for different versions of JRE Blackberry that is 4.5, 4.6, 4.7 and 5.0. I chose the JRE version in a Configuration set, but when it is compiled is showing version 5.0 in deliverables/Standard. That's why on the installation of this application is in error "no additional applications can be found." Please help me out, I've also read several post but not able to find the solution.

  Do you mean that you can install the application several times, but then, this Desktop Manager error reports after a number of upgrades?

  Are increment you the version number of your application every time?  Otherwise, it will recognize the same version of fix on the BlackBerry Smartphone and will take no further action.

  Instead of using the Desktop Manager, you can also javaloader to add and remove applications on a BlackBerry Smartphone.  JavaLoader is a command-line tool that comes with the BlackBerry Java plug-in for Eclipse and the BlackBerry JDE.  It is not intended to be used as an end user install the tool, but is provided for developers who want to quickly add and remove different versions of their application.  It is found in the following directory:
