Hello

Simulators require a specific JRE? Where can I get a list with Simulator and required JRE version?

We have both JRE versions on the client machines. If we allow 1.6.0_16 our forms application is a failure and if we allow 1.6.0_05 the other application is a failure.

  • WebWorks and Cordova requires a specific Configuration

Hi, after a lot of research and do not find an answer, reach out to the larger community of developers.

BES5 applications to read the dynamic variables set with an ITPolicy through user-defined settings, IE URL allowed.

This allowed a compiled version of an application to use across implementations of different BES5, each customizable application.

It is my understanding BES12 reintroduced this (missing in BES10), but can't seem to find any document detailing how to achieve this.

I'm assuming that the application itself would need for declaration confirming that he uses a customizable variable. When the application is transferred to BES12, I guess the download process will know of this customization and let this field appear in the view of the application.

Has anyone used this feature, it is available in BES 12.5?

Some of these features have been added in BES12 for iOS and Android applications, but BlackBerry 10 does not yet support this.  To enjoy them requires native calls, it is not any extension of Cordova, I am aware of that support it, so you will need to create a plug-in.

The following blog post explains how this can be done on the side Android.

    Hi all

Currently, if you use the license free hypervisor, most operations will fail - the host is essentially unchangeable.

It is a known problem. At this stage there is no solution except to retreat on the evaluation license.

  • Additional storage/memory requirements to add BI Publisher?

Hello, all. I'm running an OEM 12.1.0.2.0 (about to try to apply the recent 12.1.0.2.1 PSU, patch 14840279) inside a Solaris 10 x86_64 box. He was given about 12-16 GB of memory for a small deployment. I have a 11.2.0.3 Oracle database repository and the 12cR2 OEM running on the same box. Set, which feeds to the top

Looking at the feature of report of OEM12c, they have always let us use editor, but clearly the State information in the documents (http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E24628_01/doc.121/e24473/information_publisher.htm#BGBGDBCG) that the new development is DISCOURAGED. I'm worried about how to develop the reports now... I suppose we must all go to an Oracle BI heavyweight Publisher solution now. My question is, how much more is it heavy? I am a DBA and did not have a lot of experience running middleware.

I've been watching the BI Publisher docs (Oracle® Fusion Middleware Installation Guide for Oracle Business Intelligence)
11 g Release 1 (11.1.1) - http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E14571_01/bi.1111/e10539/c3_requrmnts.htm) requirements, section but it points me to the main download of Oracle Fusion Middleware section.

I navigate to finally land on the Oracle® Fusion Middleware system requirements and specifications for Oracle Forms and reports 11g Release 2 (11.1.2) (http://docs.oracle.com/html/E25460_01/r2_fr_requirements.htm).

I assume that I have need to 2 GB of physical memory and memory of 4 GB + swap for my installation of Solaris (UNIX).

Does anyone know if the 2 GB is for a new installation, or if I could get away with less if I already had an OEM installation? We never had size our generation for DB + OEM + agent + BI.

Check the guide adv config... on 2 GB of additional memory sizing is required.

  • Need a Clarification on the installed component and run Simulator Configuration

    Help!

I need clarification on what the plugin Eclipse is telling me. There are two parameters that are confusing me. For components installed (found under preferences/Window/BlackBerry JDE/Installed Components), I have a choice of 5.0.0 4.7.0,4.6.1, 4.6.0 4.5.0 and 4.3.0.

Depending on which component I select when I go in the tab Configurations.../Simulator/course walk, I see a different mix of devices.  In all cases, there is a default Simulator.

Initially, I assumed that each JDE component supports a mixture of different devices, and that is it compiled correctly, I would be assured that the app would work for all devices on the tab run Simulator Configuration.  In my tests, I found theopposite.  I also assume that, for each component of the JDE, there is a 'default' Simulator that was representative of all devices in the drop-down list run Configuration Simulator.  In my tests, am not sure what actually represents the Simulator 'by default'.

Can someone clarify how to JDE and Configuration simulators run installed interact and a developer show how to ensure that their application is running on a mix of devices?

When I finally get to the point where I am ready to deliver, what are the points of decision of installation?  Is it enough to simply require a specific version of an operating system (for example 4.7?) or do I have to create a grid and check the two model number and version of the operating system?

    Thanks for your help.

  • Developer SQL release 4 (Windows XP, Java)

As far as I know, my personal computer environment has the following attributes:

    Windows XP

    32 bit processor

applications that require Java 6 (jre) or less

I would use SQL developer version 4 in the same environment that requires Java 7 development kit.

Is there a way to 'best practices' to download the 7 Java SDK in an environment similar to that described above

so it can peacefully coexist with Java 6, but only used by SQL Developer release 4. I realize that some downloads account

SQL Developer already include the appropriate Java components, but I don't think that this applies to my situation.

    Hello

Is there a way to 'best practices' to download the Java 7 SDK so that it can coexist peacefully with Java 6...

It's easy!  Most applications use only a JRE, not a JDK and search for it through the system to the Windows PATH environment variable.  Only Java JDK Installer installs a JRE optionally and under Win XP 32-bit, will put the copies under C:\Program Java and C:\Windows\System32.  Path must always include C:\Windows\System32, but generally should not include a specific reference to a under C:\Program Java JRE or a JDK.

    So...

    1. download the latest version of Windows x 86 Java JDK 7 of Java SE Development Kit 7 - downloads | Oracle Technology Network | Oracle

    2. run. During the installation, select only the development tools option, making sure to deselect the Source Code and JRE Public.

    3. download the Windows 32/64 - bit announcement this forum > view details > download.

    4. run and install it according to the usual instructions (unzip into an empty directory, etc.).

    5. the product must ask the location of the JDK.  You will probably choose something like C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.7.0_55.

    6. If no prompt, or you choose the wrong JDK, just manually edit the SetJavaHome line in the sqldeveloper\...\product.conf file.

    7. which should be found at the location of your user AppData.  For Win XP: C:\Documents and Settings\Change Data

    Kind regards

  • Strange error in java. What it means?

"An error occurred to perform the requested operation."
No odjdbc11 in the java.library path
    code provider 0 "

Using the most recent version of sustainable development, which works on some PCs but not on others. It does not matter which version of JRE is installed on the machines involved.

AFAIK SQLDeveloper requires a specific version of the local client oracle (or instant client) must be installed to use connections of the OIC, in which case the client version installed does not match, you may encounter an error similar to the one displayed.

To check this, you should go to

    Tools-> preferences-> database-> advanced

and make sure that the indicator, use the driver OIC/thickness is not checked, with this indicator supported off the missing library should no longer be necessary.

Of course if you need to use the driver of the OIC for a reason, you then need to install a different version of the Oracle Client on the affected PC (11g or later should be enough).

  • Oracle BI Publisher Desktop - what version of Java is supported

    Hello

I just tried to install Oracle BI Publisher Desktop on a new machine, only to be told that I need a JRE, I did not know it was a requirement for a client machine. I have looked around the pages and can not find a specific requirement for a JRE for the BI Publisher Desktop tool. So, what's the minimum version of Java required for this tool? 1.5?

    Thanks in advance.

    Yes,

Get the latest, also, it will not be a problem even if you get later.

  • WiFi Solution - only wifi network

    Hey

I live in Israel and how I get internet home is via a special modem that is also a router, this whole box is called HotBox.

The quality of this refrigerator is VERY bad, but it's the only way to get internet here...

Since I was little systems in my house requiring some specific open ports (smart home hub and dvr security cameras) the hotbox is really bad with the opening of the ports so I had to do a bridge inside mode, so it works as a modem and connected on it (some not expensive tp-link I'll change with time) an extra to work as opening and router port solution router.

    so far, it works fine.

The House is large in the territory and I thought the best solution to extend the internet into an area away from the House, the basement which has thick walls and wifi signal is difficult to achieve...

The inside of the wall, I have an ethernet cable that goes from the main tp-link router in the basement and there I connected a time capsule Airport (model 2014 if it made a difference, the new type of orders one) which gives wifi in the basement and an additional airport specially for the single harder.

Everything works fine but a small thing, in the upper part of the House, I have Tp-link network (say 1) and in the basement, I have a different time capsule (Network2) wifi network.

My question is how can I do the work of the entire system on a single network?

I have to do the time capsule as a bridge or configure it somehow differently?

Or is it still possible to do?

Thank you very much for your help in advance!

My question is how can I do the work of the entire system on a single network?

Change the name of the network wireless on the Time Capsule so that it will be exactly the same as the name of the TP-Link network.

In the example below, you can see the name of my wireless network is TWNDB. If I wanted to change the name, I change / move back the current name and then type the new name I wanted to use.

I have to do the time capsule as a bridge or configure it somehow differently?

The Capsule should already be configured in Bridge Mode if it has been implemented correctly, who calls Apple 'Off (Bridge Mode). If it isn't, then you must change the setting on the network tab, ensure the Capsule is in 'Off (Bridge Mode).
