Found 0 results for how to UNINSTALL Firefox 9.0.1? I installed it last night and Firefox crashed maybe 20 times since then. The previous version crashes almost never. Help, please
Since installing Firefox 9.0.1 YESTERDAY evening on my iMac, which is running OSX v. 10.5.8, Firefox hangs now every few minutes. It often happens that I'm going from one site to the other - when I click on a site referenced to my favorites, Firefox crashes as the following website is coming. I've NEVER had this problem with Firefox before. I need to uninstall it and go back to the previous version of Firefox, but OSX is not a simple routine "back to the previous configuration. Or... Please immediately send a fix for version 9.0.1 (assuming that others have the same problem).

How can simple question - I add photos to my mail body. But instead of the answer - found 1000 results for how can I add photos to my Thunderbird emails. There are answers that don't apply at all to the question anyway. Why must it be so difficult to get a simple answer to a simple question?
Thunderbird is a bit like Microsoft, all the reasons as I dumped MS Live Mail.
First, a lot of help for Thunderbird refers to the menus that may not be visible. It would be useful to you and us if you have your menus and toolbars visible.

Then, open a window of writing. Activate the menu and operate.
Now that you see an option "Insert"?
If this isn't the case, you can assign composing in plain text, which does not support embedded images.
Tools | Account settings| {Select account} | Composition & addressing and ensure "Compose messages in HTML format" are checked. If it is not already checked, go back to writing a message. No better now?
Once you have the mode of composition HTML goes, you can use Insert | Image or various permutations of copy - paste and drag - move to the body of your message.

I saw a previous question to a windows user, but it seemed that he was very long (speaking of the 3.x.x editions), and all links on this thread seemed to have only 3 updates. I just want to stay with the version of Firefox before this last update (30/10/12) who say 16.0.2 work well with my older Mac OSX. Can you provide me with a link to reinstall and forgive my ignorance, but let me know exactly what I have to do to avoid losing preferences and bookmarks and others? Thank you very much.
All versions of Firefox 16 still work with your operating system OS X 10.5, but this is the last version that works.
Firefox 17 will require OS X 10.6 and later. Here you can see the 17 Firefox (currently in beta) system requirements:

If you have purchased Adobe Acrobat Pro DC as an upgrade, then a serial number of the previous version which you have like Acrobat X or XI. If in the case where you have not bought one of these in the past, then you must buy Acrobat Pro DC as full version (US $449.00).
In this scenario, you can return the version upgrade and purchase the full version. To return the Contact Customer Service

How can I recover my favorites from the previous version of Firefox?
I just loaded the new version of Firefox. My Favorites from the previous version have disappeared. How can I get back them? I went through the provided recovery method, nothing.
Do you still have backups of bookmark in the bookmarkbackups folder?
- Bookmarks > show all bookmarks > import and backup > restore

You have an "Old data Firefox" folder on the desktop in the case where you have refreshed Firefox and created a new profile?
You can retrieve the form of the data of the 'Old Firefox Data' folder, but be careful.
You can copy files like these in your current Firefox profile folder.
- bookmarks/history: backups in the bookmarkbackups folder and perhaps places.sqlite, if you really need the history
- other SQLite files cookies.sqlite (cookies) and formhistory.sqlite (saved form data)
- logins. JSON and signons3.txt (decryption key) of the saved passwords in password manager
- Permissions.SQLite and, possibly, content - prefs.sqlite permissions and Site preferences
- cert8. DB for stored intermediate certificates (Certificate Manager)
- sessionstore.js to open and pinned tabs and tab groups
- Persdict.dat for the words that you added to the spelling dictionary
Note that "Reset/Refresh" creates a new default profile with a time stamp to identify it and trying to retrieve settings such as Favorites and history and history and cookies and passwords, data of automatic filling of the old profile, but you lose data such as the installed extensions and other customizations.
The current profile folder will be moved to the "Old Firefox Data" folder on the desktop. -
Firefox 25.0 disabled kaspersky virtual keyboard and money safe ect how do I change back to the previous version as fire fox tells you towards the end of the update to the back Beach
Hello Bretus,
Please contact the Mozilla Support and I am sorry that this update is not compatible with the extensions you use.
Kaspersky support forums mention that these extensions will be updated soon, so that they are compatible with FF25. In the meantime, we do not recommend that downgrade you your version of Firefox, but you can find instructions and download locations for previous versions here:
Install an older version of Firefox
Please let us know if this solves your problem.

I get the following error message: gone the requested resource / is no longer available on this server and there is no forwarding address. Remove all references to this resource. Additionally, a 500 Internal Server Error error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument directive to manage demand. IE & Chrome work very well - and the previous version of Firefox (10.0.1) also worked. Looking for a fix or I need to give up Firefox. Thank you.
Found the problem - it's a HT Access file on the site itself. Deleted the file and 10.0.2 works very well.

How can I switch to the previous version of firefox? This sucks 4.
My HP computer has a program that stores logins and passwords so he can connect with a finger-roll printed. Since the update, none of the stored passwords or connections work and the program will not recognize anything as a login page. I hate it and want to come back to the previous version!
Here is the process to roll back:
First of all, I recommend you backup your Firefox settings in case something goes wrong. See your backup information.
Then, download and save Firefox 3.6 on your desktop for later installation. http://www.Mozilla.com/Firefox/all-older
Close Firefox 4, and then uninstall it. Do not remove your personal data and settings, the entire program. Any report you can skip this step and simply run the installer for 3.6.
Finally, you can reinstall Firefox 3.6. Unless you have installed an incompatible add-on, it should pick up where you left off. If there are serious questions, please post back with details.
Note: I have not actually tried myself!
