  I am currently evaluating lightroom to replace Apple's Aperture as is the end of LIFE. I am a professional filmmaker who made a few pictures on the side. Lightroom 6 emphasize the import of videos, unless I have clear them manually during import. I ABSOLUTELY NEED to divide probably photos and videos on various imports and paths to backup IMMEDIATELY when I put the card into the computer on the tray. This way of manual de-selection is stressful, slow and prone to error. It hates me lightroom - I love otherwise - on each import of the card.

  Is it really now way to tell lightroom to ignore the .mov files and stick to the photos? It is very difficult to believe for a professional software and unfortunately would be a dealbreaker for me.

  Would like to find a way to do it, then I would be able to commit to the ambient light for my photo needs.

  Hi GerritH,

  If you use Lightroom 6/CC, there is no way to deselect the videos, but what you can do is to change the sort order to media type and unselect all the videos at the time of importation.

  • Press "check all".
  • Sort by "media type".
  • Select all video files (select a first + press shift + select last)
  • remove the flag on a single video file (this uncheck all selected video files)
  • Press on import.

  If you use Lightroom 5 or earlier, there is a hidden option: hold down the Alt/Option key and "check all" and "Uncheck all" buttons turns in "check videos ' and 'Videos to uncheck', respectively." From there you can asily choose to imp [tro photos or video only.]

  I had a problem with Win 10 and MS had to help me to reinstall but before I did that I shared with you all and you me where to download my Adobe programs yet.  (see also, Acrobat 9).   After 10 reinstalled MS I downloaded my Adobe CS5 and put my key codes in these trial downloads when you are invited and all seem to be ok.  But then today CS5 Update Manager popped up, I agreed to put up-to-date and later received a message below, when I run the link in this error message for his talk with a different key code or related, troubleshooting questions but I only have one key code.  I need support to make sure that my dear Adobe software is back on correctly.

  I'm trying to find an analytical function to get a value on another line of research on a date with Oracle 11 g 2.

  I have a table with a date_id (truncated date), a flag and a measure. For each date, I have at least a rank (sometimes 2) is gapless.

  I would like to find analytical functions to show for each date:

  • the sum of the measure for this date
  • sum of the measure a week ago
  • sum of the measure a year ago

  As it is gapless I managed to make the week a group as in a subquery and using a SHIFT with offset to place 7 above it (see below).

  However, I'm struggling on how to do it for the data we have leap years ago. I can not simply to define the offset on 365.

  Is it possible to do with a window RANGE BETWEEN clause? I can't seem to have it work with dates.

  Sorry, I; m not sure I understand the problem.

  If you are certain that there is at least 1 rank for every day, so you can be sure that the GROUP BY will produce exactly 1 row per day, and you can already use LAG (total1, 365) just as you use LAG (1, 7).

  Are you concerned of leap years?  In other words, when the day is March 1, 2016, do you want the column total_one_year_ago to reflect March 1, 2015, which was 366 days earlier?  If so, use

  date_id - ADD_MONTHS (date_id,-12)

  instead of 365.

  LAG only works with an exact number, but you can use RANGE BETWEEN with other analytical functions, such as MIN or SUM:

  Again, use arithmetic dates instead of the code 365 hard, if it's a problem.

  As Hoek said, it really helps to publish exactly the results you want from the data of the given sample.  You are miles ahead of people who don't post same sample data, however.

  You just don't not to post hundreds of INSERT statements for the information of the year.  Here's a way to generate sample data for many lines at the same time:

  -Put a 0 in the table for all the days in 2012

  CS4 does not qualify for upgrade pricing to CS6 so you will have to pay full price for 3 year software obsolete.

  It is not necessary. You need only to re - install the latest version you have (full version or upgrade - all versions include the complete program code, it is the serial number that distinguishes plenty of upgrade)-even on a machine that has never had any installed Adobe software.

  The installation program will ask you to enter the serial number from a previous version to verify that you qualify to use the upgrade.

  Which is the last version that you own? CS5 or CS6? You have all your serial numbers?
