Frame unwanted break and infinite white space
I have a 197 string I want to display in a single text box (and can not have spaces between them, because the cast, I intend to use ultimately has a character assigned to the space that I don't want to appear between the other characters). All the content has to adapt, but once it gets past a certain size (about 11pt), InDesign requires some sort of break, pushing 80 characters in text 'in excess'... which does not appear in a text box, that I put on, but rather still registers as "overweight," so it seems that InDesign creates an infinite white space.
I have played around with all the options to keep, I tried the hyphenation, I checked and unchecked 'unbreak,' I tried using GREP to find hidden hidden line/column/frame break - nothing.

Am I missing something? Or is it just not possible? Thank you!
You'll have to do some manual work:
- First turn on hyphenation, so you can see all the InDesign hyphenation line breaks drops.
- Then click with the type tool to point break (end of line), and then choose Type > insert break character > discretionary line break.
- Once you have done so for all the line endings, you should be able to disable hyphenation without the text becomes overset.

Interleaving of Dreamweaver returns and the white spaces of files uploaded to my server

This same problem has been published here by several people about 5 months and never answered. I just upgraded to 10.7 and CS5.5 and I now have the same problem.
Files downloaded using ftp in Dreamweaver have all formatting returns and whitespace removed from their part. The files are fine if they are uploaded via ftp using Fetch.
When I view the source code of the uploaded file in my browser, all the code in the file is on a single line. This applies to JavaScript and HTML files. This stops the JS to work and causes the HTML will not display correctly.
I went through the DW ftp settings advanced and experienced with on/off options. It doesn't change anything. I added some JS and HTML for writing, no effect exclusion list.
I used an extra hard drive and did a clean install of 10.7 and 5.5 without change in the behavior of DW.
Everything works perfectly using 10.4 and CS4.
Any help would be appreciated.

The symptoms you describe are almost always related to incompatibility between the linebreak in the code type and the native type linebreak on the server. Check your DW PREFERENCES and see that you specified under the Code Format > line break type:. That must match the SERVER uses.

How to remove white space output Excel in
Hi all
I was working with Oracle Apps r12.
We have developed a report customized by using xml and the type of report output is Excel. When the report has missed that he completed with normal excel output is generated, we have a column called quantity and have white space before quantity.
So that we are able to make an aggregate with these data function.
For example, the column called quantity

32569.00
25369.25
Excel in the output closer like that, so when we choose this three column and try to do no matter what aggregate function does not give any value.
I tried Trim but his back ' nt works, because the values are already pruned.
Can anyone help on this.

Hi, I am currently building a website in Adobe Muse and really enjoy it. I met some differences between what I designed and that the site actually looks like and have been able to find solutions to all but one. The home page has a header and footer, and a cutting-edge Animation Adobe. However, it was apearing of extra space under the animation (above the page footer). Everything looks fine in design mode, but even in the preview, there is more space. I tried uploading to our ftp, thinking that perhaps the question (as in the preview mode does not display the animation), but the extra space is still there. I tried to move social media icons, thinking that they might be at the origin of it. I looked to see if there may be a blank form or text box that is the origin of the discrepancy, but I can't find anything. Any suggestions?

I checked your file and the white space from page that you call in the iframe. I have seen that most browsers do not respond well, when the width and height of the iframe is specified in percent.
As a solution, give width and height of the iframe manual and that should take care of it.
For example, try something like 412px, which is the height of the dashboard content

Text of point tool highlight only color white space between words
9.4.5 Acrobat help is a way to make the text highlighter that you want to fill the space between words as you would by hand? For now, it's just highlight the words themselves and ignores white space. I think it's funny.

What you are describing is symptomatic of a PDF document containing a scanned image of text content that ROCK (like Image indexable or searchable Image (exact)) has been applied.
Using Acrobat Pro 9.4.5 I observe it regularly with this PDF files.
When I highlight the PDF from FrameMaker, InDesign, MS Word files, web Acrobat capture, etc. the feature is not exposed.

There are two settings that I know of to display the white space characters. The first is found in Windows > Preferences > text editors and the 6th box down in this article is to show characters. If you see symbols such as for your return/line ramasseherbe paragraph tag feeds is the one to turn off.
There is also a shortcut key that I have accidenally struck last night. I spent a bit of beat time on my keyboard until I found this again. If you accidentally hit this shortcut key you will see your return/line RSS ramasseherbe \r\n. In this case, press Ctrl-. (this is the control and the key point) and the white space characters should go away.

Hi all
I am facing a weird problem in the SQL query. Taken, I wrote the request with the spaces, tabs and line breaks after execution it slows down the database and finally, I have to restart the database again. But after removing the spaces the application went very well. I don't know what the problem causing this slow run, but after the removal of whitespace to query everything works fine. I've also confirmed plans to explain the two after the removal of whitespace and previously had the same results.
I use the TOOL of DEVLOPER PL/SQL, SQL developer, Toad and Oracle 11 g.

I'm trying to change an existing PDF. I need to add white space between areas that contain text fields to allow these areas to be developed and do not overlap the text and the text below fields.

The space between each 'progress/strategies' increasing needs. A text field is under each of them. If it's a Word doc, I could just press on enter. What is the best way to do this with Adobe Acrobat Pro DC?
There is no easy way to do it. You need to move the text fields more apart and if there are static elements, then you will need to use the tool edit text & Images to move them, separately.

I built my site in Muse, but when I preview the, there are white spaces of different sizes that appear between images and text. In addition, an entire section of the Web site has moved down through an entire page. Here are a few screenshots as I can manage them. Unfortunately it is not yet hosted, so I can't post a link.
Just a note: I'm build this page of my site as a portfolio to side scrolling. At the beginning of each "page", I added an anchor point, and I've added a 'back to the start arrow' so that the elements of different menu on the far left of the page (at the beginning) a link to their respective 'page' along the portfolio of horizontal scrolling. Similarly, the "back to the start arrow" menu link. I don't know if this is part of the question, but it seems that it shouldn't be, because I got that simply making the page extremely broad and not very large.

Well well, the standard answer (and I should perhaps store them somewhere as a copy & paste NOTE): you must use groups and other methods of structuring as widgets. Your items may not stick together because they have no container parent to hold them together as in reverse, they can overlap with because they have no logic telling them everything that is left, right, above and below. Muse is not a page layout program and you not post a PDF file where everything is nailed in place. dumping everything on the page without which concerns the way in which it will interact in your browser never gives the result you expect.

Get rid of extra white space / margins on the left and right
Hello. I have two problems.
1.) when I create a model Muse to 1024 px wide, the document creates additional margins about 150-200 pixels to the left and to the right. No matter what I do, I can't get rid of this. I put both margins to "0". I need the site I created to be 100% width, no white space around.
2.) my images are not importing correctly. When I place a picture, for example, my homepage background image, which is of size to 1024 px wide - identical to the width of the document, it does not matter to this size. Images are coming in about half the size, even though I'm positive, that the images are sized correctly, as I designed it in photoshop for the exact dimensions I wanted.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
1.) muse generates no significant provision, so when you create a model Muse to 1024 px wide (centered on the assumption that in the browser), you end up with page 1024px wide and showing little space on each side to show you how the browser beyond 1024px screen would look like (where the browser window is wider than 1024px. It is not part of the width of the actual page. You can customize which using the browser option fill in the Control Strip.
(2.) it appears you have the expected resolution HiDPI (2 x) in file > Site Properties > content tab. It would actually use the original size of the images on the screens of the retina and half in two dimensions on normal screens.

I seem to have no space at the bottom of my content.
As a test, I accept the default values (except zero margins and padding):
I created the headers and footers on my master:
I insert an image in the home page (note the image fills the area between the header and footer):
But when I saw it there a space between the image and the footer.

The white space is caused by the "sticky footer" option that sticks the footer at the bottom of the browser window. Disable it in the site properties or page.

Just when I thought this software started to behave, he does: pages adding plenty of space. I don't have any idea on how to solve this problem. Have tried everything. A last forum mentioned expand the HTML box. I don't know what in the hell that means, but I tried pulling it down to where the dotted line disappears. Does not work. How am I supposed to explain to my client that there is nothing I can do about it, it's just a defect of the software? Someone at - it solutions?
Attached are two screenshots of a test, one of the design window, a page of the preview area with all the white space that is infuriating. In the other pages there are widgets? I created this master page and test page from within a project of muse with pages that include YouTube and Google map widgets.

Thanks for your suggestions. Unfortunately, none of them worked. However, once I've hunkered down and set about to solve the problem, I indeed understand eventually. The culprit turned out to be the sticky footer is enabled by default in the properties of the site. Unchecking that solved the problem.

Issues of white space between the content and footer.
I have the problem of length of the areas whites/page between the end of my content and footer.
I have read the forums and tried to change the height of minium length of page in 800 and then I
disabled the foot sticking in the properties of the page on the master page and content page itself.

SVG - white space above and below
Hi all
First post here so be prepared to Noobisms :-)
I created a header horizontal logo/text in Illustrator and saved as SVG, copied the SVG code and pasted in a html5 doc, in it's own div, using < svg > < / svg > tags. Image seems ok and will scale horizontally, as expected, and the width of the following div containing text, but as I reduce the proportions of the page a large area of white space appears above and below the SVG giving the appearance of top and bottom fill.
Any ideas?
