Question of extra white space

Hi, I am currently building a website in Adobe Muse and really enjoy it. I met some differences between what I designed and that the site actually looks like and have been able to find solutions to all but one. The home page has a header and footer, and a cutting-edge Animation Adobe. However, it was apearing of extra space under the animation (above the page footer). Everything looks fine in design mode, but even in the preview, there is more space. I tried uploading to our ftp, thinking that perhaps the question (as in the preview mode does not display the animation), but the extra space is still there. I tried to move social media icons, thinking that they might be at the origin of it. I looked to see if there may be a blank form or text box that is the origin of the discrepancy, but I can't find anything. Any suggestions?

Here is the screenshot of the design mode:

Here is the screenshot of this in the browser:

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Razorcs,

I checked your file and the white space from page that you call in the iframe. I have seen that most browsers do not respond well, when the width and height of the iframe is specified in percent.

As a solution, give width and height of the iframe manual and that should take care of it.

For example, try something like 412px, which is the height of the dashboard content

Kind regards

  • Get rid of extra white space / margins on the left and right

    Hello. I have two problems.

1.) when I create a model Muse to 1024 px wide, the document creates additional margins about 150-200 pixels to the left and to the right. No matter what I do, I can't get rid of this. I put both margins to "0". I need the site I created to be 100% width, no white space around.

2.) my images are not importing correctly. When I place a picture, for example, my homepage background image, which is of size to 1024 px wide - identical to the width of the document, it does not matter to this size. Images are coming in about half the size, even though I'm positive, that the images are sized correctly, as I designed it in photoshop for the exact dimensions I wanted.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

1.) muse generates no significant provision, so when you create a model Muse to 1024 px wide (centered on the assumption that in the browser), you end up with page 1024px wide and showing little space on each side to show you how the browser beyond 1024px screen would look like (where the browser window is wider than 1024px. It is not part of the width of the actual page. You can customize which using the browser option fill in the Control Strip.

(2.) it appears you have the expected resolution HiDPI (2 x) in file > Site Properties > content tab. It would actually use the original size of the images on the screens of the retina and half in two dimensions on normal screens.

    Hope that helps.

    See you soon,.

  • Illustrator adds extra white space when registering for the web

    Hi all

I hope someone can help me with this.

I did not have this problem before, but I created a graph on which you wish to export to the web as a gif, but when I go to save for web in Illustrator CS3 adds about one pixel transparent/white space around the edges left and at the bottom of my chart (even though the real chart fills the space of work completely.

Does anyone know how to fix this?

I would be very grateful if someone can help me with this or have any suggestions.

    Bravo guys,.

    Karl.

    Hi Karl!

Don't forget to uncheck the "Clip for work plan" under "save for web" > tab "image size." Also, make sure that no objects hidden/semitranseparent/pixels or unwanted empty text boxes are in your illustration. You can also crop the pixelrow in Photoshop or try to turn a Matte (no) in 'save for web' gif settings. Hope this helps

  • Extra white space after the process page

I'm trying to remove white space after the page is processed.
Usually it doesn't bother me, but it doesn't bother with javascript.

    Explanation:
    1. I send an xmlhttp request to coldfusion to process.
2 Coldfusion executes a stored procedure on an oracle database that returns results as XML.
    3 Coldfusion returns XML to the client: < cfoutput > #XmlParse (ajaxXML) # < / cfoutput >.
    4. the client (Javascript) runs the function that manage the data and returns an error because: " xml not at the beginning of the external entity declaration".

I tried to use with the attribute cfsetting: enablecfoutputonly = "yes", but still the result is the same.

Any idea or lead in the right direction would be greatly appreciated.

If it's really the content of ajaxXML, then the above code and cfcontent should solve the problem.

    As follows:

    #Trim (ajaxXML) #.

The SET clause is the best way, but you can add a WHERE clause. Without a WHERE clause, you will update every row of the table, including rows that are already perfect, who will be ineffective.

    Try this:

    UPDATE table1

SET AcountNumber = TRIM (account number)

    WHERE AccountNumber <> TRIM (account number);

If AccountNUmebr is NULL, the conditon of WHERE clause evaluate to UNKNOWN, and if the line will be not updated unnecessarily.

  • White space from regions... fix them...?

    Hello

I created a few regions on a page... I hide/show couple of them based on the selection of a group of radio...

My problem is that, for some strange reason, that I'm extra white space for some of the choices (and not for all of them)...

I saved a sample on APEX. ORACLE.COM steps for review and comment

    Workspace: tparvaiz
    Username: [email protected]
    Password: tparvaiz

Application: 28899 default Date and white space
    Application Page no.: 24
    ID/PW: TEST/TEST

    Thank you

You use dynamic measures to hide the elements rather than with the regions that contain. This leaves the elements of the visible region as extra space. Also the choice of the model of the area of can not be appropriate and include items that generate an extra space (model region Untitled button doen't seems good for the area of Proj_Order, because there are no other buttons). Use a browser with a web Inspector Tool (Safari, Chrome, or Firefox+Firebug) to find the elements generating unwanted space.

    Either:

  • Change the DAs to hide the regions as a whole rather than the individual elements (use static region ID to provide selectors of DA).

  • Keep the DAs that operate at the level of the element, but uses fewer parts, for example to move the items in one region.

As Re: reversal of the Image, you may be using too many distinct regions. Is not wrong (in so many ways it's a good thing), but there should be good reasons to do so, and must enjoy that there are separate areas by working with regions as a whole. Also consider using subregions to group related areas.

A naming convention clearer for dynamic Actions would also be a good idea: the current criteria give no idea of what they are doing.

  • Why are there unwanted white space added to all les.jpg/.png when "inserted" in Dreamweaver CS4?

I have two folders root sites separate/separated I am building right now and all the images that I insert into Dreamweaver has extra white space added to the left of each image. Need help please, I have checked/unchecked something in my preferences. Thank you!

  • Additional white space around the graphic header & amp; Navigation bar

I have a graphic header and Navigation bar (flight path images) positioned inside a table. Unfortunately, there are about 1-2 pixels of white space on the left, right and the top of the header image. Even with the navigation bar - there are 1-2 pixels of white space around the edges (left and right). By default, the cell padding for the table is set to zero. So central is set to zero, why do I see a blank space between the edge of the graph and the edge of the table?

Personally, I thought that the white border was a feature, but... In

  • BrowserField2: a white space appears when scrolling

There is a strange scrolling with height html problem in the browserFileld2.
I asked the html content. and after you download html when I view the HTML

and scroll to the top and then Ahmed for the bottom and scroll back to the top.

There is a strange white space that covers half the screen.

Please see the attached attached off screen

Look like browserField2 not 120 Hz content when scrolling. How to solve the problem? Help, please.

    BlackBerry OS: 5.0

    Problem has been resolved.

Sorry the question was realted to zoom, zoom rather than scroll

When the user presses DOUBLE_TAP or Double click to zoom in, zoom back the contents of the browser field and if the user is in middile of browserField rather than at the top. white space will automatically appear below the content.

I solved the problem by substituting the screen method touchEvent (TouchEvent)

and if the user is not on the top then by verticalScroll zero adjustment.

    If (te.getGesture () .getEvent () == TouchGesture.DOUBLE_TAP) {}

    If (_bf2.getManager ()! = null & _bf2.getManager () .getVerticalScroll () > 0)

    {
    _bf2.getManager () .setVerticalScroll (0);

  • White space under the foot during the fluid browser width

Hi everyone, thank you in advance for reading my question and for taking the time to answer.

I'm trying to create my first site sensitive and spin a weird question when I simulate the width of the browser...

    Screen Shot 2016-09-07 at 8.02.50 AM.png

When I reduce my width of simulated browser on the master page, he stuffs my footer bar upward. However, when I go to master page preview in the browser, it works fine and pushes the footer below the content.

    Screen Shot 2016-09-07 at 8.02.39 AM.png

I'm trying to create breakpoints fluid in the page master because all subsequent pages will be based on the same standard layout.

    Hello Nick,

I have reviewed your .muse file and found no problem with it.

The white space you get when resizing the wheel of breakpoint in the Muse is just an expected behavior, if get you an overview of the site in the browser that everything will look fine.

The conclusion therefore is Muse you will have to drag the footer items down manually. and adjust accordingly to other breakpoints.

Alternatively, simply increase the height of the master page, if you want to place more content in there.

    Thank you

  • Causes of white space, tab, and line breaks slow in running the queries? What is the main reason behind it?

    Hi all

I am facing a weird problem in the SQL query. Taken, I wrote the request with the spaces, tabs and line breaks after execution it slows down the database and finally, I have to restart the database again. But after removing the spaces the application went very well. I don't know what the problem causing this slow run, but after the removal of whitespace to query everything works fine. I've also confirmed plans to explain the two after the removal of whitespace and previously had the same results.

I use the TOOL of DEVLOPER PL/SQL, SQL developer, Toad and Oracle 11 g.

    ***************************************************************

For example. (in reference to my original query):

    Select

    *

    Of

    Double;

    ****************************************************************

    (After removing whitespace)

    Select * twice;

    *****************************************************************

What would be the reason for white spaces causing slow performance?

Please let me know if you need additional information on my question.

    Thanks in advance,

  • Sensitive site + white space to the right of the iOS device

I recently downloaded the new version of Muse and started on a sensitive site for a client. Everything seems to be working and rather smooth through all the breakpoints for the most part, but when I visit the site on my iPhone 6 there is a white space of 30px along the right edge (screen included). When you rotate into landscape mode the problem disappears, but returns in portrait mode. In the browser on my desktop, everything behaves as expected because you expand and contract to the browser window. I also had a fried pull it upwards on their Android device and the page loaded as expected. Looks too good on an iPad in two directions.

I have checked and checked the master page and the home page for additional items outside the edge of the page, including all the layers and breakpoints. It drives me crazy. Help, please. I've recreated a fake site to share this duplicates the question. www.anotherfinedesign.com/Responsive/

grantjkidney content may not exceed the width of the browser to any item on the agenda of a breakpoint. If it does, and a device arrives at this width, the mobile browser will be first size (rightly) the width of the page on the device, and then zoom out to view the entire width of the content. When there is content outside the width of the browser that translates into the mobile browser zoom out leaving, for the most part, a blank space to the right.

More generally, this is caused by a fixed width object sticking out beyond the width of the browser when the browser width approaches the width of the next breakpoint smaller. For example the empty part right of a large text block that contains a short sentence.
