• Output troubleshooting Word

  TCS 3.5 (RH9), source in FrameMaker, trying out, Word 2010, Word macros to generate. It's a big project, around 1,000 pages of PDF. Generation cale / weighs about 80% of the way through without a message. Sometimes I get a message from the word he's trying to recover my document, but it isn't when it crashes.

  • Same project exports very well to WebHelp.
  • Same facility generates well project sample Word.
  • Tried the .doc and .docx, same results.

  I suspect there is a problem at the source, but it is difficult to guess where. Is there a journal file, or something that I can look to see where it is suspended?

  I tried again using the option 'Generate individual documents' and finished without error. Word strikes again.

  9.4.5 Acrobat help is a way to make the text highlighter that you want to fill the space between words as you would by hand?  For now, it's just highlight the words themselves and ignores white space.  I think it's funny.

  What you are describing is symptomatic of a PDF document containing a scanned image of text content that ROCK (like Image indexable or searchable Image (exact)) has been applied.

  Using Acrobat Pro 9.4.5 I observe it regularly with this PDF files.

  When I highlight the PDF from FrameMaker, InDesign, MS Word files, web Acrobat capture, etc. the feature is not exposed.

  Whenever I buy HP7520 ink cartridges, I received a pack of paper picture 5 x 7 & envelopes.

  What are the steps to print using these maps?

  I would like to print text on these cards as well.  Is it possible to configure the printer to print a document?

  Welcome to the Community Forum of HP.

  You can use the 5 X 7 Photo paper to print photos OR print documents small - or a mixed picture and document output (text).

  • The following example assumes that you have access to Office Word.  The example uses Word 2010.  You can use any Word as similar application to create your document.
  • The actual configuration for the printer and the paper can be used independently of the application that allows you to provide the actual document / picture for output.

  ============================================================================

  • Remove any paper you have in the background, the main tray in the printer 7520.
  • The top photo tray can be removed; simply lift upward and out of the way.  Put it somewhere safe.
  • Replace the regular printing paper with your Photo 5 X 7 HP - place photo paper so paper the side on which the photo or the text will be printed is 'down', that is, against the bottom of the bin.
  • Along the left side of the main tray, find a quite difficult to move the scroll bar.  If you place your hand upward and inside the status bar, a little, there is a Gash along the bar that can you help drag you the bar to the right, so you can move the bar tight but not too tight against the paper 5 X 7.  Do not force the slider bar, he's stubborn, but it moves with a little effort and slight pressure.
  • Replace the tray photo albums in its correct location above the main tray.
  • Close the door before tiny for the main tray.

  My printer does not print landscape on paper 8 by 14 in the format.  It prints the first two columns in my spreadsheet and draws the rest of the columns on a sheet separated.  A serviceable man seems not to be able to solve the problem.  I have another printer prints correctly, but not always hangs.  At the same time it worked correctly.  I don't know what happened.

  I don't see all the settings in the print driver itself. Most likely, the change is through the application you are printing from.

  What application you are printing from? (Word 2013, Internet Explorer)

  Fix. Expected behavior.

  Output of the OCR is not incorporated. With Acrobat Pro, a preflight check is available to embed the fonts.

  On the use of Distiller - using a work option distill configured appropriately that the PDF created from the authoring application (FrameMaker, InDesign, MS Word, etc.) will have embedded fonts.

  My company is about to buy FrameMaker 12, and I would just get a comparison of plans and their price, as what is shown on this page for Acrobat: Plans and prices | Adobe Acrobat DC. I would like to see the same Info for FrameMaker 12, but I can't.

  I started on the page contact customer support, who first asked me to choose a product (FrameMaker). It loaded a page where I select the issue I want to discuss. I clicked on "decide what to buy." Who loads the page 'Upgrade Guide', which describes the features available in the past several versions of FrameMaker (including version 12), but does not list any prices.

  So I went back to previous page click on blue "Still need help?" button at the bottom of the page, and she did not on the first page (Customer Contact)! I went around once again, found myself at the beginning, and I realized that it would take just me and around in circles.

  There is also a page that describes what kind of support is available for the Support of basic and Premium. This page shows that I can use the chat feature, but I was not able to access the talk page. There is no link to discuss on pages around the 'circle '. The only thing that has been suggested is that I asked about this on the forums. So here I am. I'm sorry, is not a technical question, but I don't know where to look next.   First of all, note that this is a user forum and no official Adobe

  Two basic for FrameMaker 12 purchase options are:

  Perpetual license:

  Full version $ 999

  $399 from the previous version update

  (Upgrades are usually released every 18 months - so ~ $ 266 / year maximum)

  If you buy each upgrade)

  Subscriptions:

  $ 29.99/month or ~ $360 / year

  (Although billed monthly, contracts are annual.)

  In my view, there is also a model of volume license, but I'm

  not familiar with it. Someone else will have to speak to prices and

  The version of FrameMaker perpetual license allows you to install both a

  desktop and laptop computer. You just are not allowed to use both

  once. I guess the same is true for the version of the subscription.

  Personally, I will never go with a subscription model. No matter how

  for a long time, you subscribe, once you stop paying, the software stops working.

  previously. Your files will probably not usable by other programs, so

  Perpetual license for FM version will work as long as you have a

  through additional steps to do so. I don't know if it's the same for

  the version of the subscription.

  For me, there's really only one reason to consider a subscription model

  and that of if the company cannot afford to buy FrameMaker or optional

  future updates pure and simple.

  In addition, Adobe really prefers to sell the subscription license

  because it makes them a lot more money. I noticed that it's him

  FrameMaker product home page immediately purchasing options

  for subscriptions, but who can take the perpetual license options

  The things that extend from region (for example, page layouts and controls) have width and height properties, so you can just do:

  In my words:
  -Layout limits: the boundary of the shape.
  -Delimits local: the boundary of the shape and the effect.
  -Limits of Parent: the boundary of the shape, the effects and transformations.

  Once you have the appropriate limits, you can query its width, height and depth.

  For example:

  Note that if the node contains something resizable or css stylesheet, you really won't get a proper report to the limits until it was posted on a scene active and a pulse was performed on this subject. For nodes in constant sizes, these will always return the same value for resizable nodes, they can return different values. These should be used when in the subclassed layoutChildren call you create your own composite nodes (i.e. not so often and never if you are a beginner to write JavaFX programs).

  node.minWidth(height)  // minimum width for a given height.
  node.prefWidth(height)
  node.maxWidth(height)
  

  Finally resizable nodes that extend the region as part of layout and controls have the following properties, which you will likely finish by using a little:

  region.minWidthProperty()
  region.prefWidthProperty()
  region.maxWidthProperty()  
  

  For example region.getMaxWidth will return either
  -Region.USE_PREF_SIZE-online maximum width will be the same as the default width.
  -Region.USE_COMPUTED_SIZE-online maximum width will be of what is implemented in the default region.
  -Some absolute value-online the maximum width will be all that a caller has chosen via region.setMaxWidth (value) call.
  -Double.MAX_VALUE-online unlimited maximum width.

  A good layout strategy is not to worry about sizes much at all, instead use resizable controls inside layout managers and set a default size of resizable controls only when you need to.

  I did quickly (quickly enough anyway) to get closer to the effect that I do. I would like to have the cube to roll in three words separately. There must be an easier way than to try to align the layers 3D space manually and use a null value to the to turn it in. Not to mention that shadow catch layer a little gets in the way too...

  Lineing layers is a piece of cake. Compensates for the anchor point of your 6 z for all values match. IOW, if your solid is 400 X 400, then the anchor point will be 200, 200, 0. Just change that to 200, 200, 200, then rotate the solid one at a time, 90 and 180 x 90, 180, 270 in Y and you have a perfect cube. Now add your null.

  Replace the 3D solids with graphics same sizes or compositions with words and you have completed. EZ as PIE...

• Conversion of PDF to Excel and keep formatting

  I'm trying to convert a PDF file to an Excel file.

  I have just run the free trial of Adobe Acrobat X Pro (version 10.1.3) and opened a newly created PDF file.

  I clicked on the following: file > save as > spreadsheet > Spreadsheet XML 2003 (having Office 2003).

  When I opened the new XML file, the main topics appear horizontally across the worksheet. All the amounts mentioned appear vertically in column A. We want the dollar amounts to appear in the corresponding topics. How to preserve the formatting of the PDF?

  It seems that if I will not be able to easily convert a PDF to a file using Adobe Acrobat X Pro Excel as advertised. Is this true?

  Not true.

  The question isn't Acrobat.

  It is rather the PDF file (how content source has been mastered and created the PDF file).

  Use an application with tag good management.

  Examples: FrameMaker, InDesign, MS Word (with PDFMaker of Acrobat), MS Word 2010 (usng MS save as PDF - XPS, PDF accessible & making use of the user interface that promotes accessible PDF creation).

  None are 100% (yet) for all aspects of a power of a PDF containing the well-trained tag. However, they are (currently) "best-of-breed".

  In the file creation you would control a good table. Table header Row (s) must be correctly identified.

  Use of the space bar and Tab can give the appearance of a 'table' in Word or Notepad.

  As with so much "perception" is not reality.

  This content is simply "body text" tricked out to look like a table.

  In the PDF file that content is "body text" and no correlation with tabular data.

  There are a range of OMG yuck on Spot On.

  What lands in Excel will reflect where the controlled content falls within this spectrum.

  Variables are which was used to create the PDF file, which has been used for tags management (if any), how the content is placed in the file to create.

  PDF files that are "worse" are often those that are created by programming via a server application.

  What PDFLibrary is in use (they are not all equal) and how it is used.

  I have a situation where I would create a javascript Indesign CS5 that runs through my two Grep and text searches saved and starts the search and replace to the saved searches in the list that begin with the word "Layout"?

  Is this possible or do I need to "hard wire" all criteria/search in the JavaScript preferences (rather than call the preferences of search and replace of the "saved search" xml file)?

  I got just the Autonumbering once again kick, but have not found out/understood how to keep my legends of the figures

  with the images that I imported a framework anchored, if any help you can give me would be appreciated

  with that.

  Output PDF is great and the speed of the savings is ideal even for large documents. Is there a real advantage

  have a lot of several chapters in a book, rather than a long document? My longer document is of approximately

  280 pages and consists of four sections, with Appendix, glossary, index and table of contents.

  Output HTML seems to be as bad a I remembered 6 years when I used Webworks Publisher to

  perform the conversion. RoboHelp is a good alternative I organized an assessment from next week

  so have not had the chance to look at this yet, but would be interested in what people think.

  Hi, Karen:

  In FrameMaker documents, you can navigate to something that will become a link in a PDF document to its source, with a "hyperclick" on the page entries table of contents and indexes in the generated files and references or hyperlinks not generated documents. A hyperclick is Ctrl + Alt + click. There is no click back. You can lock the FrameMaker documents to make these active links with a single click and use the dos commands and others on the Navigation menu that appears when a locked document is active.

  To lock or unlock a document for the type of hypertext navigation and release these keys in order: F Escape (must be uppercase) l (lowercase ' el' not important 'eye' or number one) k (must be lowercase). I remember as "(F) Island (l) oc (k).»

  Google search for words like 'Lock of FrameMaker for hypertext Documents' and "FrameMaker navigation Menu" without the quotes, for more information on these techniques.

  Also, you can use the dialog box insert reference allows to browse some sort of plan file, by selecting a paragraph format such as a cap, on the left and scroll through these paragraphs on the right. Page numbers, you can see the list below indicate the first and last page of the paragraphs in the list above. It's a little inaccurate, but useful.

  You can also generate table of contents or index or list of external cross-references (special > list of > references > external cross references), and then close window of the file generated to fit in the workspace to the sides of the active document. Hyperclick in the generated files, or lock files and a simple click on an entry, to navigate to the location linked in any other file is advanced to.
