RoboHelp 11 has a track changes function similar to that of MS Word?

A help system within RoboHelp 11 on Win 7 editing system. Is there a way to track the changes I make so that they can be found in the FrameMaker or PDF Word I circulate for review?

Thank you.

Unfortunately not. The review function is available for people using Robohelp himself.

  • Can you Adobe Acrobat help with import of tracking changes and comments in Microsoft Word and convert these annotations and comments in PDF format?

    I have a Word doc huge with more than 3,000 of the changes and comments to track changes. I hope that there is a way that Adobe Acrobat can simplify the conversion of annotations and comments of an annotated PDF file in just a few steps - vs having to do this work manually. Appreciate the tips and recommendations! Thank you!

    Acrobat and Word are quite different types of applications. Namely, Acrobat isn't a word processing application, although many people think that it is and try to use it as such. Therefore, I don't think that this is possible. Annotations in the PDF file are nothing like the changes you can make in a Word file, or vice versa.

  • Lag when using track changes in the large document

    I do experience lag when using "track changes" in a large .pages document (about 180 pages). I get the wheel of the Rainbow for about 10 seconds after completing each change, which makes it very difficult to obtain concrete results. Other applications on my computer work simultaneously without a hiccup. I use the latest version of the pages on the latest Mac OS. Anyone with a similar problem? Tips to solve this problem?

    It's unfortunate that Apple has not adopted an icon "Achtung Minen!" for the v5 Pages. It is slower than the second coming on intermediate to large documents, and it only gets worse when you add images at higher resolution. Apple has not designed there is a professional-quality, or as a realistic replacement processor for MS Word.

    There is nothing you can do, but seriously, re - evaluate your software solution for processing.

    Here's an icon from the WAD of v5.6.2 request Pages. Prophetic isn't?

  • MISP track changes made to a digitized table used during the conversion?

    I need to convert several databases in AL32UTF8, which is 2 TB or so of size.  I want to reduce the outage window.  Most of the data is ASCII, but the character set is WE8ISO8859P15, so it is possible to get the non-ascii character in there.  My plan was to analyze the database while it is live, then run MISP during the blackout without a full re-analysis.  But I fear that a non-ascii character could go in there from scanning the failure.  The MISP track changes since the last scan, so just check the lines that have been added or changed since the scan?  In my tests limited until now, so it seems that complete analysis would take longer than the window of failure, a progressive solution would be wonderful.  However, I don't see how to make this happen.

    Thank you

    Mike has

    No, the CDS is not currently able to track incremental changes. However, you could try to categorize paintings like those who can get new non-ASCII characters and those who cannot. The fact that a given table has at least one non-ASCII character is a pretty good approximation of this classification. In this way, you could just rescan the tables which are likely to get new non-ASCII characters. Depending on the size of the problem tables this may shorten the time to restart the analysis considerably.

    Note that all need conversion CLOB columns, even if they contain ASCII only.

    To minimize the window of downtime, we recommend a solution with GoldenGate. GoldenGate is, however, not a free product.

    Thank you

  • The track changes

    VCM has the ability to track changes made by users through vCM, as well as within an operating system?

    Yes and somehow.

    When VCM collects data, it performs a comparison of Delta on the endpoint. Basically, this means we study all elements in the scope of the filter selected collection, and then throw away everything that's already been sent to applicant collector. Thus, if a registry filter covers a branch of registry which was compiled before and includes 100 values under it, but one of these 100 is new, one is changed and he used to be one who has since been removed, the Delta process will result in only three inputs for return to the collector: to create for the new value a change in the value is updated and has delete (tombstone) for the value that longer exists. Obviously, it is an effective way to collect a lot of data, since we do not have to send all 100 values every time - just the differences between what is there now and what has been sent before.

    On the collector side, VCM will use Delta data to update the information in the registry for the target computer, but it will also save the changes to the master log of changes. For change, for example, there will be a record written to the log of the changes saying, more or less, "at that time, at that time, for this machine, that the registry path and the value increased from X to Y." we do not know exactly when the change was made, or who, because it is not part of the registry information is capture. However, if we have collections scheduled to run once per day for these data, we know that the change occurred in the course of the last 24 hours.

    When VCM makes a change, it bookends the change with a pre/post data to change collection. So if we change a registry through VCM value, agent will first gather the registry value, and then change it and then collect again, and it will then return the Delta between these two collections, but also information on the jobs result, back to the collector. Given that this change was made through VCM and since the pre and post change collections were made at the same time as change and VCM can know for sure exactly where the changes were made and who makes these additional data elements get recorded in the change log with the from/to , path and details of the property.

    Once you have data in the change log, you can then browse and analyze, report off of him and create alerts based on certain types of detected changes. VCM can also export the changed data back to vCenter Operations Manager where it can be used to annotate graphics mashup so changes can be seen in correlation with the performance of the system.

  • Trigger that avoids "is changing, function of triggering/can not see ' error

    Version Oracle 11.2.0.2

    I have a problem where I try to avoid duplicates in a table using a trigger.  Data looks like:

    EQUIP LO ACCT

    ---------- -- ----

    1000000000 0

    1000000001 0

    1000000002 0

    1000000003 0

    1000000004 0

    Equipment = equipment identifier

    Location = location number

    Acct = account associated with the equipment

    I need avoid the same account to have 2 pieces of equipment are allocated to the same location.

    for example

    EQUIP LO ACCT

    ---------- -- ----

    1000000000 1 1234

    1000000001 1 1234

    1000000002 0

    1000000003 0

    1000000004 0

    I can't create a unique index for this table that when there is no assigned equipment (first example) I couldn't have uniqueness through the location and number.  So, I wrote the following:

    CREATE or REPLACE TRIGGER TEST_TRG before update of test WE acct

    Old SEO AS OLD AS new NEW

    for EACH LINE

    DECLARE

    v_chk number: = 0;

    BEGIN

    Select count (*) in the test v_chk where acct =:new.acct and rental =:new.location;

    IF v_chk > 0 then raise_application_error ("-20001, ' multiple devices at the same location not allowed");

    END IF;

    END;

    /

    .. but of course that I'm shot in the table that is being updated, I get the error of mutation:

    setting a day of test set acct = "1234", location = '1' where equip = '1000000001'

    *

    ERROR on line 1:

    ORA-04091: table xxx. TEST is changing, function of triggering/can not see

    ORA-06512: in "xxx. TEST_TRG', line 4

    ORA-04088: error during execution of trigger ' xxx. TEST_TRG'

    I tried this split into two pieces where a trigger calls another procedure to perform the check and write error, but results were inconsistent and end-user demand does not pick up the error for a reason - it seems to process the transaction very well even if the update was not made at the table level.

    Are there other ways in addition to a trigger to achieve?

    Thank you!

    Then also consider this value in your index of function according to:

    create table test

    (

    equip the varchar2 (10),

    location varchar2 (2),

    ACCT varchar2 (4)

    );

    CREATE a UNIQUE INDEX TestLocationAcct_UK ON Test

    (case when the ACCT is not null ACCT AND! =' ' then location |) « ; » || end of the ACCT);

    Insert test values ('1000000000 ', ' 0',' ');

    Insert test values ('1000000001 ', ' 0',' ');

    Insert test values ('1000000002 ', ' 0',' ');

    Insert test values ('1000000003 ', ' 0',' ');

    Insert test values ('1000000004 ', ' 0',' ');

    Update test set acct = "1234", location = '1' where equip is '1000000000';.

    Update test set acct = "1234", location = '1' where equip is '1000000001';.

    Error on line 1

    ORA-00001: unique constraint (SYSADM. TESTLOCATIONACCT_UK) violated

    Kind regards.

    Hi Planner question,.

    You should be able to use the Save function just as in Word to save directly to PDF with track changes and comments intact.

  • How can I remove the underline of the text added to the track changes

    We have a lot of content which includes underscores and when we use the added track text edit function text is green and underlined. How can I change the properties of the text added to be not underlined?

    From FM11, you can specify a custom color to use for the track changes, but styles (underline, strikethrough) are still wired.

    Even if you try to make changes to the text edit rack conditions in a MIF file, they will be crushed as the MIF is interpreted then opened by FM.

  • Track changes in MViews

    Hello

    I would like to follow the changes of materialized views on a remote database (10g). Given that the source database is under contract with other suppliers we cannot change it. So we created materialized views on the tables of interest (in the source systems) via DBLink in our target system (updated on request). So now, we have the updated data from the systems of sources available in the target system. We need is to check which lines has upgraded day/modified/deleted without having to compare all of the table. Because we are not allowed to create a log of materialized on the source system view, and we are not able to create a log of materialized on our target system via DBLink view I wouldn't know if it is possible to track changes in the materialized view in another way.

    That is to say:
    (1) is it possible to access the journal of the underlyings of the materialized view on the source system without manually creating a materialized view log?
    (2) is it possible to add a timestamp to the only materialized view update of changed lines

    Thanks in advance!

    PS: @CDC: Logmining is not an option: the source database is not in mode archivelog; Trigger cannot be used due to "no change on the source system.

    If you call refresh, it will finish refreshment - i.e.: deletes all THE data of MV and then executes the select statement of MV and store results. You can not fast refresh without the MV newspaper.

  • Table is changing, function of triggering/can not see?

    Hello
    I had this error before, and I solved it with the help of this forum.
    But I didn't ask then why is - this error happening at all?
    Now I have it again, with different trigger:

    ORA-04091: table TRACKER. APPLICATIONS is changing, function of triggering/can not see

    My trigger code is:
    create or replace trigger "REQUEST_EMAIL_T2"
         after update of assigned_to_assigned_id
         on requests
         referencing new as new old as old
         for each row
    begin
            if :new.assigned_to_assigned_id != :old.assigned_to_assigned_id
         then
          for emp_rec
           in (select      username, assigned_email, form_name
              from      assigned, form_type, requests
                 where  assigned.assigned_id = form_type.assigned_id
                      and assigned.assigned_id = :new.assigned_to_assigned_id
                      and requests.request_id = :new.request_id)
                    loop
               apex_mail.send (
                   p_to          => emp_rec.assigned_email,
                   p_from     => emp_rec.upline_email,
                   p_body     => 'You have been assigned a new Request. '

                                    || ' Type: '
                                    || emp_rec.form_name

                   p_subj     => 'New Request'
              );
         end loop;
    end;
    /
    The relaxation will compile without error. The error I get trying to update the table!

    I absolutely need to define a trigger as "after" update and need to know how to avoid the same mistake again?

    Thank you!

    But I didn't ask then why is - this error happening at all?

    Have you looked at the error message? It is very explicit:
    >
    ORA-04091: table String is changing, the function of triggering/can not see
    Cause: A trigger (or a plsql function defined by the user referenced in this statement) attempted to watch (or modify) a table that stood in the middle of being modified by the statement that shot.
    Action: Rewrite the trigger (or function) so it does not read this table.

    Should this request to join the table of queries ? Does not look like it...

  • Pages: Track changes in tables not yet a feature?

    I'm new to Pages for Mac and can't find a way to view changes in the tables with "Track Changes" active.  I found threads dating back to 2008 and 2014.  Can someone confirm me that since version 5.6.1 Pages still shows no track changes in tables?  If so, are there plans to add this 'feature '?  I work with documents that are for most of the paintings in the style 'information mapping' (topics on the explanations of left, right), if the track changes without being able to see the changes is a challenge.

    Not supported. Can add text to the table cell with the tracking is enabled. Save the document and exit Pages v5.6.1. Open the same document and add additional text in the same cell. BACKSPACE on the original text of the cell should impose a strike-through color writer, but instead of this, deletes the original text.

    Expect v5.6.1 Pages to be of professional quality software, but it is far from this achievement. What did you expect from free software that is less complete than all the alternatives realistic processor on the market today.

    Consider 2016 Office for Mac.
