  Using Acrobat Pro XI to make PDF documents compatible 508. I had a number of questions went using Add Tags to the document option, it is one object behind the other or remove them all together.   Content should always be deleted by adding tags, but it can appear so because - as you note - objects can hide behind other objects. In theory, you can bring out them of hiding to rearrange things in the part of the order, but I have much more luck using the content pane - it provides a level of much finer control. If the text is hidden behind a shaded box, for example, I'll move the box over the text in the content order, then usually convert the box to an artifact if it is already.

• Action to replace the contents of a smart object

  I use CS5/PS to create a collage created multiple images (smart object layers) that I've positioned using clipping masks.

  I would like to be able to replace the content of the images, which I can do via layer > smart objects > replace contents..., but I would like to have an action for a process of 'one-click' instead of three clicks.  Problem is, when I try to record the action, it forces me to complete replacement, and then the action gets wired to replace the image used in the 'record' action and therefore does not allow me to select which image I'd like to use.

  This feature is available in PS Elements, so I think it's possible.  I don't know that miss me something pretty basic, I do not know what!

  This could work, as the Yes path would fire instantly and without the path would check during the evaluation period. Is there a reason to not only use a delay of a week between each stage of the decision well? A little more crowded, but perhaps more clearly during the audit of the canvas to the wire without having to enter each stage?

  You cannot write to a file with the player. You can with Acrobat with certain restrictions, using data, which are attached objects. What is possible is documented in the Acrobat JavaScript reference.

  The only service which is (should be) directly facing the end user is the runtime.  Packaging is used to add books to your content server, Admin is used for the management - these two must be behind your firewall.
