  Unfortunately, the XBR9 doesn't have the Sony entertainment network. SEN content is available on 2010 units and more. Sony SMPN100, SMPN200, NSZGT1 and NSZGS7 will have the content of SEN. You can connect these devices to the XBR9 TV with HDMI and you will be able to access the content of SEN.

• OTP-S6200 unable to connect to the Sony entertainment network

  I have a new BDP-S6200 and I can't connect to Sen. I have the network set up correctly which means that when I perform network diagnostics it reports 'network connections are correct. I've tried wired and wireless. One of the first things I did was download and install the update to firmware M21. R.0112.

  I also tried a reset and reconfiguration and turn off and unplug the unit for 10 seconds.

  System Information also indicates "LINK Connection Status: successful" and "Provisioning Server Connection Status" -"."

  Found a solution to my problem in another topic. It was to go to network settings and to change primary DNS Server 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 secondary DNS server. (Must manually configure your IP address, etc.). After that go to SEN which is the menu item right on my X-bar menus, press 'OPTIONS' on remote, select "Update List". At this point, since I've never been this well before, asked me to register the device to www.sonyentertainmentnetwork.com. Then it worked.

  I have create a unique subscription ID, so it is not bound to a single collection. What I'm missing here?

  The last step is the problem. iOS subscriptions run on a collection plan, not a level of app. After you create the product subscription, you must assign this product ID to one or several collections and not the application itself.

  I'm curious. Why do you want to set up a free subscription? Apple launches a free subscription to the time background downloads worked only in kiosk applications to newspapers and free subscriptions were the only way to get an app with free content on newsstands. Now that the background downloads are supported in applications non-kiosque to newspapers and kiosk will disappear, why want to offer you a free subscription?   There is no watermark or any other restriction. Adobe has no control over your content. Not strictly speaking, not legally. Or any that would be relevant for the use of specific content as it is available in libraries CC, but only as a trial user, you have access to free content, in any case.

  You can update your application to change from a free subscription to the retail. When you submit your in-app purchase, Apple invites you to submit a new version of the app at the same time.

  Note that anyone who signed up for your free subscription will continue to get all of the free content, including the content of retail sales. Free membership lasts for always (or something like 35 years, which is never actually in the years of the app). The right to the subscription does not change when you update your app. You might want to consider creating a new application and pointing to it from the existing application.

  I have a monthly magazine in review with Apple that will appear in the booth newspapers, but fixing a small bug, I realized that my subscription strategy should be revised.

  The goal is to have a monthly magazine that is free to all users for the first year, while the reader/number of subscribers is built and then offer a subscription from year 2.

  Originally, I've set up a free subscription, assuming that I could convert paid at a later date. Once he is paying with a number of options (as well as single issue purchase) subscription mode, the magazine would also offer occasional free supplements as well as paid content.   1 no, don't create a free-subscription app and then change to a retail subscription app Apple has offered a free subscription as a way for the non-detaillants apps for newsstand. Convert a subscription free app to retail is a mess that update you or download a different application.
