  Unlike Windows XP, Windows 7 or Vista, does not include a Desktop Cleanup Wizard, which has kept track of your use of the icons on your desktop and offered to remove the unused icons every 60 days.

  CleanDesktop is an application portable little freeware that helps you clean up your desktop icons not used in Windows 7 and Vista. This utility is for those who miss the wizard!

  On running it, it will scan & detect office items that have not been used within the last 30 days and and the list of people down. You then have an option to remove them.

  The unused items are not deleted but moved to a folder on the desktop, namely; C: \Users \username \Desktop \Unused icons. You can also cans also opt to remove unused items directly.

  I don't think the CVI toolbar icons can be extracted by other means just PrintScreen as...

  Anyway, you can use the icon, like IconsExtract or @icon sushi or IcoFxexctractors. IcoFx is editor of beautiful icons as well.

  But do not forget that some images may be copyrighted, so you are not able to extract or copy them for use in your application.

• Cannot install 8.1 free update after reinstall 8

  OK, I'm back after receiving the HP recovery discs. 8.0 has been installed disks successfully, and free upgrade even icon who was present when I bought the PC was still there. I was able to select the upgrade and start the download and installation. Everything went along very well until it reached the point where a reboot is required "to complete the installation". After a delay, the computer showed a message saying that the installion failed and the operating system had been restored 8.0. This kind of thing drives me crazy.

  I heard that repeating the same thing again and again all expecting different results is a sign of a disturbed mind. I tried a second time and it worked, so working with computers more like roll: a different result is likely. Maybe the magic was possible because I asked the question here.

• Imageres.dll has been changed. I need a default icons on Vista.

  One of the vista themes I tried changed my imageres.dll, to the extent where I found not by default Vista Aero icons. The theme has been scanned for all adware, spyware, viruses and malware. I don't have a restore point on my computer, and I don't want to have to reinstall Vista.

  You can try to rebuild the icon cache: http://www.tech-recipes.com/rx/2997/vista_how_to_rebuild_icon_cache/.  I don't know if this will work if the icons were lost, but it could help and is designed for this type of problem.  Without a restore point and not wanting to repair/upgrade Vista, I don't know how else to retrieve the original icons.  As far as I can find it, there is no separate from the original set of available Vista Aero icons download.

• Form free drawing connects as polygon on DC of Adobe Acrobat Reader for Mac

  Too bad. I thought about it. Another application called BetterTouchTool was the culprit, causing CPU spikes when I click on free-form and begin to drag. It is a common application like a lot of Mac users. It's a shame they have to have elders with a bug. If someone has the same problem in Acrobat, close all processes that are not essential, and then try to draw free form in Acrobat.

• Versioning DPS

  Please help us to understand the management of versions and issues we are.

  We have an existing, built application on the A26 with a completely customized Viewer using the API js (iOS and Android).

  Issue 1: If we want to use r29 FOLIOS, it will support our application r26?

  -If Yes, we do not see this work. When you publish a folio with r29, we see TWO folios, the A26 and A29 folios. This isn't a "update" for the current folio, but rather a completely new folio.

  -If not, why not? I need to explain to our customers what they pay for our understanding (when Adobe sold it us), is that we can take advantage of the new features of folio without having to update the application. This doesn't seem to be actually the case based on this issue.

  - Specific question: how to take an EXISTING folio and upgrade to a new version of DPS without creating a separate unique ID and thus presenting two separate folios for the same content?

  Question 2: If somehow, it is possible to update a previously published folio without creating a SECOND folio (rather simple updating the existing one), is there documentation describing this on your site? Google searches increase very little. How this is done?

  Question 3: About all of this, we will encounter different issues between iOS and Android? Our hypothesis is that because we are always on the viewer of the AIR (and will NOT adapt r30), we will have the Android-specific problems. What are, if any?

  I'm assuming you create a multi-folio application, not a simple editing application.

  Question No. 1: If you have a v26 application, you can download previous v26 or folios, but you cannot download v27 or folios later.

  -You see two folios because you created a folio v26 and a separate folio v29. The v26 folio will work. If you try to download the folio v29 in v26 app, you need to update the Viewer.

  -Try opening a folio v29 in v26 app, it's like trying to open an InDesign CS6 document in InDesign CS3. Older viewers do not understand the new folio formats.

  -With respect to the specific question, you need not update the folio v26, v29. Just leave it like v26. If you want to update the folio to a newer version to take advantage of a new feature, use the dialog properties of Folio. But again, it is not necessary. The folio format has not changed between v26 and v29.

  Important: If you have an application v26, create folios in the format of default v26. When you get a chance to update your application v29 and v30, you can do it, and you can always publish v26 folios.

  Question 2: To update a Folio, connect to producer Folio in the cloud, select the folio and click Update. To update the items in a Folio, edit the source documents in InDesign, and then update the articles by using the drop-down panel Folio Builder. You'll want to do before update you the

  Your understanding is correct regarding the supported platforms and prices. We always evaluate supported single-edition iPhone Apps, but it will not be R27 and is not intended for the R28.

  Distribution of free digital content with DPS is not different from the distribution of free editions of print content. Even if you choose not to charge readers for your content it still costs money to manufacture and distribute.

  I think I know the answer to that, but I'll ask anyway. In V25 to the first folio of detail may be offered free of charge via the administration panel (for users by downloading the app for the first time)

  Yes, if you enable this feature by using the account to apply v25 administration tool, the end user becomes the folio for free and download counts against the total of the editor.

  If the user deletes the app and reinstall it a month later, after the publication of the next edition, they do not get the latest free edition as well. They are still entitled to their original free number on this device.

• Apple bias against editing simple DPS?

  My application was rejected for the fourth time. Here is basically the same rejection each time:

It uses videos, hyperlinks to web pages and e-mail, several sequences of images in 360 degrees, pan and zoom photos, scrolling images and slideshows.

  I appealed to references apps with similar material that are reassigned to only feature e-mail PDF files and or research. However, they seem to have been created with something other than the DPS, eventually Xcode.

  Which allows to conclude that Apple has a prejudice against the average DPS simple edition. Maybe this isn't a problem for large publishers who have subscriptions and multiple editions. But I think for a small publisher to make a publication free unique edition in DPS, the chances of getting approved by Apple are not good.

  You can appeal to the Board of review app: https://developer.apple.com/appstore/contact/appreviewboard/index.html in the case where you think your application has enough interactivity. Sometimes, I have seen releases without basis for Apple and they finally approve these apps after call. Send technical details and all the fuctinalities your application provides when sending attractive.
