Freezes, more long answer or acting? Help, please.

I have a problem with my hp envy 14 beats edition. It is a House of windows 7 64 bit, i5 560 m, 500 GB hdd, ati hd 5650, resolution 1368 x 700. the problem is when I click on something like the files or just move my cursor on it, sometimes, it freezes and does not move. also, sometimes when I try to type something in like msconfig/dxdiag start, it freezes too. and sometimes, when I type in the address bar, it freezes also. When I click on something like when I have to choose a particular option, for example, it takes time 2-3 sec in front of him that I can choose it. also, when I click on something (again) like to choose what either click in my browser as my favorites, it takes like 2-3 seconds to process my order. my laptop was not like this before. usually, he clicks and treat immediately. BTW, I take care of my things seriously. also, I have MSE as my anti virus and ive never visited untrusted sites. I use only this laptop to edit my photos, play games like star craft 2 and check my facebook and that's it.

now, what I did totally correct them, I did a system restore and now it is like new. It's like the State of the box. so I tried clicking again and wander my mouse around, always late or freeze sometimes. When I say sometimes, not all the time. sometimes its good, then suddenly it freezes then go back for good. its boring. I have not experienced this before so I've been reading and search on Google, and I tried my best fix but nothing seems to work on me. Ive been using this laptop for 1 year now and I bought it on ebay as a manufacturer refurbished HP itself. What is wrong with him? can someone help me on this? ID to really appreciate it.

I recommend you perform the clean boot and check.

Configuration of your system in a clean boot state helps determine if third-party applications or startup items are causing the problem. If so, you need to maybe contact the manufacturer of the program for updates or uninstall and reinstall the program.

    Well, it is possible to distance it's the brand of double layer discs
    you use (assuming that the drive can read discs double layers).
    Or the drive has a hardware problem.

  • I can trace is more output in Flash. Help, please!

    Hi, I'm learning Flash and Action Script 3, but I'm stuck with a problem.

    The exit sign stopped tracing my scripts. For example, the output panel will not display anything after that I typed trace("this"); in the Actions window and press SHIFT + ENTER. I don't know what is the cause, but it started after I tried to use the Debug movie for the first time. The output panel always well errors but no follow-up.

    Restart Flash and the computer did not help. I tried to delete the files from the user. I use Vista and I decided that by default Flash stores the user files in C:\Users\Me\AppData\Local\Adobe\Flash CS4. I deleted the file Flash CS4 it hoping to restart with a fresh settings will fix the problem. There is, unfortunately, no. And I don't know it this is when Flash stores the files of the user, because after what I thought will be fresh reboot, Flash still remembered who were my files more returned in his welcome window. At the moment I don't have any other ideas but to the reinstall Flash.

    in your output panel, click on the upper right, at the level of the filter and make sure verbose is selected.  then click on file/publish/flash settings and make sure that "omit trace actions" is unchecked.

    Thanks for getting back to me.  I tried the start soft and hard boot.  I tried to uninstall and reinstall the software.  This printer is toast.

    Be wary when the printer gives you messages that the document is printed and you can see the printer to print the document that is not supposed to be printing: you have about 1 day before it goes to the BLUE SCREEN OF DEATH.

    You helped and I'll give you congratulations, I'm very disappointed in HP.  This printer lasted 1,5 - 2 years.  My next printer, I'll buy one now, is going to be a brother.

    Your computer, your data. I don't know which files you need, what files do. You may need to spend time checking them and delete them manually. You can use Windows Explorer and sort by size to check all the big files first.

    I'm on windows 8 (64-bit) and PE11.  Today, I lost all my work, even though I had saved regularly and I have to redo the rendering very often.  Tonight because I'm redoing my work day, I lose sync and keep clips integers disappear.  It seems to be becoming more and more unstable.  I don't really know if I'm doing something wrong or, possibly, Windows 8 and 11 elements first are not the best fit.  I noticed a few other post mentioning window 8 problems even if they seem to be different from mine.

    The head of it at my company wants to remove windows 8 and install windows 7 on my computer (especially because of a VPN issue), but I fear that I will lose all my work.

    Can anyone suggest a way, or a number to call and tell me how I can save my work, get rid of windows 8 and then re-import my work in a Windows 7?  I fear only 2 weeks of my work is going up in smoke.

    PS I posted earlier, I am also having more frequent crashes.

    1. I would advise to do a full backup of the system before your machine for installation of the OS. I use Macrium Reflect product. There is a paid version I have, but there is also a free version.
    2. Note the path to your project's resources and the .prel file.
    3. Make sure that all the assets of the project (pictures, videos, sounds) and the project .prel file are saved on another disc or flash drive. Disable PRE11 on your computer before handing over the installation of W7.
    4. After the installation of W7 copy these assets of the project and the .prel file in the same folder on the hard drive of machines (2) above.
    5. Install PRE11 and activate it.
    6. Open the project file.

    Manufacturers recovery disks normally do not have Service Options; they are normally a relocation to the factory only settings option.

  • Help, please! CHKDSK stuck at step 4 of 5-6% for more than 90 minutes. If it is frozen? What can I do?

    Not very intuitive with the hard disks, disks, partitions, etc.  A friend told me I should be defragging my computer frequently to help it work better.  Then, I looked at steps to defragment and learned to run chkdsk first before you defragment.  I clicked on properties, tools, scheduled chkdsk for my C drive, checked the boxes ("automatically fix file system errors" and "Scan for and attempt recovery of bad sectors") and rebooted my computer to run the chkdsk command.

    Here is what my screen said during the last 90 minutes:

    The type of the file system is NTFS.
    volume label is PRESARIO.

    A disk check has been programmed. Windows will now check the disk.

    CHKDSK checks the files (stage 1 of 5)
    (deleted and corrupted files verification of such complete record)
    CHKDSK is checking the indexes (stage 2 of 5)
    (same as step 1... full check)
    CHKDSK is recovering lost files
    CHKDSK checks the security descriptors (stage 3 of 5)
    Security descriptor complete check.
    CHKDSK checks Usn Journal
    Audit of the USN Journal is complete.
    CHKDSK is verifying file data (stage 4 of 5)
    6 percent completed.

    You have discovered a problem with Windows 7. To resolve this problem, I recommend a program called FileMenu Tools. You can download the portable freeware from here: http://www.softpedia.com/get/PORTABLE-SOFTWARE/System/System-Enhancements/FileMenu-Tools-Portable.shtml .

    After having downloaded and installed the program, you will notice that, by default, each option is checked. I would be much more selective on this subject, otherwise your context menu will be a full page long! When the main window opens, you will see a list on the right side of all the elements that can be added to the context menu. Start weeding through the list and every one to take away, you don't need the United Nationsby checking the box.

    Once you have completed your selection (de-selections) make sure that you click the green check mark in the row of icons at the top of the left window of the interface to 'Apply' of your choice. The program can do much more, but that answers your specific question. I am told that the program has a good help file, so try here if you are interested.

  • Help please.  I can't 'Finish' my video and it is too long for YouTube.

    Hello.  I hope someone can help me, because I'm in tears!  This is the first time I used PE8.  I was able to import my video, which was 20 minutes long.  I cut out, removed the parts and end up with about a minute 7 video.  My problem is that there is a screen AFTER my last clip that contains almost all the video AGAIN.  It's my video of 7 minutes, 27 minutes.  When I right-click, I can't delete it.  I tried to put a 'stop' marker, but I don't know what in the world, that I do.  I am SO frustrated and want just to UL this video on YouTube and be done with it. Along the bottom on the area of the timeline, there is a LONG line and I can see where it ends, but I can't move it, change, or delete. Help, please.  I've been playing with this for more than THREE HOURS.

    You have an "orphan". There are several reasons for the orphans, but more often, they are either a double-Import, or of some other operator problem.

    First, hit the------[backslash key], see the entire chronology (make sure that you are in timeline view Mode), lasso Clips incriminated, and then press DELETE. Who should take care of the orphans.

    Be sure to hit the space bar to read the script and check.
