Frfx opens, showing the home page in small icon in the lower bar of Windows 7. But it does not open with a mode full screen. Tried to uninstall and download the most recent. Did not help...
I opened Frefx and shows a small icon of homepage above the bar at the bottom of Win7. But I can't open a whole page or use Firefox. I tried to uninstall and then install a newer version, but this does not solve the problem. Had to go back to IE
You can find your profile folder and start safe mode, manually, without using the inaccessible features.
In Windows 7, your profile folder is usually on a path similar to this:
\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\ProfilesyourusernameC:\Users\
This article contains more information on this: profiles | How | Firefox Help. Your profile folder a usually 'default' in the name. Make a copy of this file somewhere safe.
To start Firefox in Mode safe, close all Firefox Windows, and then hold down the SHIFT key and restart Firefox. (I got that from the article, but have not actually tested!) Then you should be able to tick the box "Reset Toolbars and controls."

Alternatively, do you have the menus and toolbars when you started this page in the search box?

If so, you could do it again and then start mode without failure there.

I did everything you mentioned, but it does not help.
I found the solution. The steps are:- 1 change of security for adobe flash in the C:\Windows\System32\Macromed\Flash\mms.cfg file add the line ProtectedMode = 0
- 2. set in Firefox Subject: config change dom.ipc.plugins.enabled to false and dom.ipc.plugins.java.enabled to true
- 3 disable hardware acceleration (advanced - general - settings)
I guess only the first step and half of second if enough.

I use firefox as my home page. On a regular basis, it tells me im not not using the latest version. When I click on the help icon it says im update. Sometimes a large orange icon appears to the left of the part that says im not not using the latest version. Have uninstalled and downloaded again but still the same.
Help would be appreciatedFirefox is a web browser, not a homepage.
Looks like you have the old www.google.com/firefox/ start page to be the default home page in Firefox before Firefox 4.0 sometime. It is not maintained by Google more so either ignore the message or while in Firefox, go to tools-> Options-> general-> home page section and change your home page.

FSX can run fine on Windows 8, but now does not - install crashes with 1722
To the right,.
I have a HUGE problem with reinstalling Flight Sim X on Windows 8. When I installed it first, it ran fine, until one day he crashed it so bad that it would not even close or uninstall properly - I had update my system just to remove it. Now, I am trying to reinstall it, but it won't reinstall - the installation program runs in a first time, but when it comes to registration of fonts, it crashes with a 1722 followed of a 1603. I already tried to use licensing reset tool http://support.microsoft.com/kb/928080, but it does not work either! What should I do? Thanks in advance!
Just to be sure: you confirm that you have opened the CMD console in administrator mode to run the resetsldl command?

Sending PDF files to open exclusively in mode "full screen".
Flash has this ability with the projector files. I wonder if Acrobat has the same capacity. I tried without success.
If you embed a script of the document with the following code, the file opens in the mode full screen:
app.fs.isFullScreen = true;
However, the user will still be able to switch to the normal display mode, and it will probably not work if the file is opened in a browser.
In addition, it won't work if JavaScript is disabled.

Where Captivate does not save my files? When I look at recent Articles it shows only the last nine most recent files.
It records every time you tell him. I would look in My Documents > my Adobe Captivate projects. You can also open one of the 9 listed projects and then go to file > save as and see where it sets the files.
Finally, you can use the Winows search function to search for *.cpx, and he should find all your Captivate project files.

Hello
Thank you to contact the community Microsoft and we will be happy to help you with your concern.
According to the description, it looks that you are facing a problem during the installation of Windows update.
This problem may occur if some of the windows update components are corrupt, so we will try to reset the windows update components and find the number.
It would be great if you could answer these questions.
1. have you made changes on the computer before this problem?
2. What are the troubleshooting steps you have tried?
I would suggest trying the following methods and check if it helps.
Method 1:
I suggest you perform a SFC Scan and check if it helps.
The tool (SFC.exe) System File Checker scans missing or system corrupted files and repairs them.
How to use the System File Checker tool to troubleshoot missing or corrupted system files on Windows 7: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929833
Method 2:
Open the Windows Update troubleshooting tool: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows7/Open-the-Windows-Update-troubleshooter
Method 3:
Reset Windows update components, and then check if it helps.

Note: Important This section, method, or task contains steps that tell you how to modify the registry. However, serious problems can occur if you modify the registry incorrectly. Therefore, make sure that you proceed with caution. For added protection, back up the registry before you edit it. Then you can restore the registry if a problem occurs. For more information about how to back up and restore the registry, click on the number below to view the article in the Microsoft Knowledge Base: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows7/Back-up-the-registry
Method 4:
If you are still having the problem then I suggest you run the system update tool and check if it helps.
Description of the system update tool for Windows Vista, Windows Server 2008 for Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/947821
We would be more than happy to help you if the steps above did not solve the problem.

So I have a 32-bit windows system 7 and I'm trying to upgrade to a windows 7 64-bit system.
I have an installation disc, and my pc should be able to handle 64-bit.
However, when I insert the disc (yes my drive is started first in the BIOS)
The installation program starts,
I have chosen the language,
Accept the terms and choose to upgrade.
He then gives a compatibility report:
"the computer has started using the windows installation disc remove the installation disc and restart your computer so that windows starts normally.
When I restart my pc while the disc nothing happens and when I restart my pc with the drive the process repeats.
I'm looking for for a long time on the internet and I can't find all the solutions that work for me.
Please give detailed answers, all help its appreciated.
Boot from the Windows 7 DVD
Click Install now
Accept the license agreement
When the option is displayed to select a type of installation, click (Custom advanced)
Select the disk partition where you want to install Windows 7 click Next. You will receive the following warning:
The partition you have selected may contain files from a previous Installation of Windows. If so, these files and folders will be moved to a folder named Windows.old. You will be able to access the information in Windows.old, but you will be able to use your previous version of Windows.
(At all costs, do NOT click on anything in Format, deletion or Partition name.) So even do a custom installation, your personal files are still kept. Click OKThe installation program will now begin installation. During installation, your computer will be restarted several times.
After the first reboot, set the BIOS to boot from the hard drive.
Once the installation is complete, you can complete the Out of Box experience as the choice of your laptop, create a username, password, your time zone. You can then proceed to download the latest updates for Windows and reinstall your applications and drivers.
You can then retrieve your personal files from the Windows.old folder and reinstall all of your applications and drivers.

I decided to install a version of Windows 8 in replacement for Win7. So when I looked what I save, I decided to do a FireFox sync account to collect my data when FireFox was again installed on my laptop.
So today, I installed FireFox again but I can't sign in, ask about other manufactured device codes...
Why can't I just connect with my login and my password?
I still got the "Windows.old" file, can I do something with it because I guess I lost all my old data because of this weird codes.9-r2b2e-xm7bd-pubvs-e5wfx-*** this is the synchronization code is whining for but does not accept. not even when you change. Unable to find anything in my mail on this subject.
A big thank you in advance.
As an alternative to the synchronization, to find your old data, Firefox, try this. Please note that I have not used Windows 8, to let me know if this makes no sense.
Help > troubleshooting information > button "record show."
This should open the folder settings personal (AKA Firefox profile) Firefox in Windows Explorer (or equivalent).
Browsing from a level to the profiles folder. You can see several folders here, but with a new installation, you probably see only one.
In the address bar, insert the Windows. old\ into the path as follows:
Windows. old\yourusername\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles Users\ directory C:\
If you used a different username on Windows 7, you will need to change the part. This should take you directly to your old Firefox profile folders. I suggest those that copy to a more accessible location.
Your old profile or folders contain bookmarks, history, saved passwords, etc. You can migrate as much or as little of what you want. There are a few general articles on this (e.g., recovery of data from an old profile) and of course a lot of past son.
A little luck?

Try to activate Windows XP, but it does not generate an installation ID to activate it?
Hello
I'm trying to legitimately re - install XP pro on a build machine that is free because of various programs such as IE and AVG works don't not after a period not being don't not under tension.
I deleted the partition via the disc to install and re-installed, but then the activation it would not go online so I'll have to do the option "Activate Windows by phone".
Unfortunately, it does not generate an installation ID and so I can't enter a confirmation ID.
Of course the help line have been extremely useful and intuitive, and so I wore the recommended feeding cycle, but nothing helped.
I also tried to change the product key but it's the same. Just a space where the installation ID should be.
Any ideas would be most appreciated.
Thank you
Johnoriginal title: no installation idHere are the appropriate measures on how to solve this problem:
(1) download windows xp service pack 3 from a work computer and save it on a USB flash drive

(2) start the computer xp in "SafeMode only.
(3) install the SP3 that you saved on the usb to the computer flash drive
(4) restart the computer in "normal mode" and now you have an installation ID
