  Original title: I used Frontpage when you set up a Web site in 2004. I understand that Frontpage has been abandoned by Microsoft 5 years in 2006 and will not work on most of the newer servers
  
  My we host advises me that Front Page Express is no longer supported on new servers, this was discontinued by Microsoft in 2006. I need tp develop my site witout using the front page extensions or find another software update. Microsoft has such a product or is there any suggestions?

  I am despritely hoping that I can find that much needed some assistance in this forum.  I recently bought a brand new mac book pro and then pulled the trigger on the Dreamweaver CS5 software to go with it.  I had to change my gear from site of a tower of Dell 2000 and Microsoft Office FrontPage 2003 software.  My old computer had become too slow and too old to work with and my website has been neglected because of this.

  My web page is hosted by www.bluehost.com and I had success pretty well with them over the past five years.  I spoke at length with their support to customers today and they directed me here, suggesting that my problem might be better served by Dreamweaver users themselves.

  MY PROBLEM:

  Like I said, I made the switch to Dreamweaver to Microsoft Front Page.  The part of it seemed very easy, as at this point everything seems compatible.  Then I created my server information (Blue Host) in Dreamweaver.  And then ran a test and it tells me this: "Adobe Dreamweaver CS5 connected to your web server successfully.   Which is good news right?  At that point, I thought I was in the clear.  As I started to make minor changes to the home page of my site, I decided that I would see if it worked.  Then I saved my corrections.  I clicked on "Preview in safari" and all my fixes were obvious and seemed to work.  So I decided it was time to actually publish my corrections on the web.  So I clicked on "Site" and then went down and clicked on 'Put' (I was told that this is what needs to be clicked to publish in dreamweaver).  then, a prompt appears and says that it connects to my site.  I don't then get a prompt asking me, ' put dependent files?   (I tried clicking on Yes and no on that and seems not to matter so be it).  But the result is always the same.  MY SITE IS NOT updated on the web.

  -What I have to do something specific in the transition from Microsoft for Dreamweaver and that's why I can not post?

  -Are my files not go in the right places they need to go update the site properly?

  I'm completely lost on this issue and I am far from being a computer geek or tech savy.  I wonder if anyone has any ideas for me or help.  It would be greatly aprecciated!

  No.It no matter where your local site is on your hard drive or what the folders are named. What matters is where you set the root site in the site manager. In your case, it should be the site of site\my xxxx\montana cats.

  You don't need a public_html folder on your local drive.

  I am in the United Kingdom and do not see it, but I doubt that Mozilla put there. However I see you are using a theme, then in the case which is originally he Try Firefox Safe Mode see if the problem goes away. Firefox Safe mode is a troubleshooting mode that temporarily disables hardware acceleration, restores some settings and disables add-ons (extensions and themes).

  If Firefox is open, you can restart Firefox Safe mode in the Help menu:

  • Click the menu button

    then select restart with disabled modules.

  If Firefox does not work, you can start Firefox in Mode safe as follows:

  • On Windows: Hold down the SHIFT key when you open the desktop Firefox or shortcut in the start menu.

  By the way, you should be able to see the homepage at any time by typing on: House in the address bar and pressing ENTER.

• I want to remove the column from the toolbar of bookmarks on my front page.

  A column of bookmarks toolbar appeared on the left side of my cover page for an unknown reason. I want to remove it because it shortens the width of my front page and I have no use for him. I have bookmarks in the menu at the top of the page bar. I don't need this stupid toolbar on my home page.

  You can enable or disable the bookmarks bar via view > sidebar > Favorites (Ctrl + B)

  Press F10, or press the Alt key to bring up the 'Menu Bar' temporarily if the menu bar is hidden.

• Front Page problems

  Help, please. I am new to using muse and I have the worst problems with a first page of a Web site. All these sites are great, but the front page has a slide show. On my computer (mac) and another pc, it seems good, but as soon as my client open things change!

• Jump the numbering on the front pages

  I'm working on a several page brochure in InDesign CC2014 and I want to start numbering pages on what is basically page 6, jumping the lid of the numbering and the next four pages after, but I see no way to do it. I played with the numbering and section options, but nothing seems to work. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  All the pages in your document must have a number assigned to them, but you don't need to show this number on the page.

  As says Willi, create a new section where you want your page numbering to start at 1 (this is called the 'logic' page number or section numbering). ID complain when you exit the dialog box that you already have a page with this number, so it's also a good idea to change the style of numbering for the front pages. Preliminary pages is traditionally numbered with lower case Roman numerals (i, ii, iii...), and I usually use A, B, c... cover and inside cover, with no marker page number on which pages should be numbered in the final doc.

• Shares of the layers disappear when the pages are replaced in PDF format?

  If I replace pages in a PDF with updates, my actions to layers seem to not keep the stock they've installed their. I check the properties and they seem to be there, but the action does not work.

  I replace the exact amount of pages and the exact amount of layers.

  Any ideas? Did I miss something if I replace the pages?
  

  I think that you need to restore stocks. The layers are not as annotations that are left in place when the underlying page is replaced. Layers (OCGS) are content page, then when they are replaced by something new, the connection is broken.

  Consider what would happen if you replace a page which had OCGS with one who is not. The OCGS being more present, all actions that naturally control would not work. Thus, even when you replace one page by another which contains the same OCSs, they are still not considered the same as a lower level and actions may no longer work.

• Annotations do not appear in a page of replacement?

  When we try to do a Page to replace with a marked page, markup does not have version 9.  He used to work in previous versions.

  If you do an insert, it works.  Just a slight pain to insert and remove everything.

  Replace page to put a page of some other PDF instead of open it the PDF page (with annotations).
  PDF document with the markup must be the 'target', open the file.

• Bookmark this page disappears replaced by edit bookmarks

  I can use 'bookmark this page' a few times, but cela then disappears and is replaced by "edit this bookmark". However, the only thing available under "edit this bookmark" is "Delete bookmarks". Sometimes it goes back to 'bookmark this page' but it works for only two or three times before being replaced once again by "edit this bookmark" with the same limitation described above.

  This is how it works.
  Once you have bookmarked a link then the link becomes a bookmark and 'Bookmark this page' becomes "edit this bookmark" to indicate that you can edit the bookmark.
  If you want to add a link to a second time, then you must create a copy of the bookmark or drag the tab or Site identity button to create an additional copy.

  How can I get rid of all that have hijacked my homepage in Firefox 12 and replaced by a login page "Bank of America"? I have reset my home page in Options, but it does not help. • How to create a menu "front page".

  If I want to have a menu at the beginning of my VI, let the person choose what function they wish to use, how I would do this?

  Lets assume that each function has a very large front with different controls and indicators, so you fropnt Panel to look at different completelyu depending on what function they wish to use.

  The only way I can think to do, would be to use a property node to deactivate or activate certain controls and indicators based on what the user selects, but that seems very long and would mean having loads of empty gaps because you cannot place two orders, or the lights in the same space.

  Is there a system of 'page' where you can have several "pages" on your façade and the design of each 'page' for a different function?

  For example, let's say the first page say "Welcome in this program," Please enter a username and password and after that "choose from the following options," and then clicking on option 1 grew an oscilloscope, option 2 a power supply, option 3 another type of control or instrumentation etc.

  If you have everything on a page with nodes of property, it would be too big.

  Looks like a high school is just what you are looking for. Each panel or 'page' is simply a VI that gets loaded into the secondary control. In this way all the controls and indicators are separated in their own VI, keep everything nice and clean in the highest level VI. It requires a bit of the management framework, with the high level VI VI swap references in and out of the control of the secondary, but the benefits outweigh the disadvantages.

  Another method is to use a tab control and hide the tabs, and then programmatically switch between the tabs based on user input. I'm not a big fan of this method have you again all the controls and indicators present in a single VI, but he separates them at least visually, rather than to hide and display of individual controls.

• My printer HP LaserJet 1536dnf printer prints black pages after replacing the toner with a new one!

  I changed the toner cartridge for my printer HP LaserJet 1536dnf with a genuine HP toner cartridge and now it's printing the pages in black.  Any suggestions on how to fix this?

  I see by your post that you have replaced the toner and now get all black pages. I can help you with this.

  Have you had the same problem with the printer before replacing the toner?

  It could be a hardware or with the printer fuser problem.

  If the problem started just after replacing the toner then most likely, the toner.

  Make sure that the printer is connected directly to a wall outlet. (do not use a hub or a surge protector)

  Number one cause of problems with toner.

  Check if the drum unit for damage:

  1. remove the cartridge of toner product and check that the tape has been removed.
  2. check the memory chip for damage.
  3 examine the surface of the imaging drum on the bottom of the toner cartridge.
  CAUTION: Do not touch the roller (Imaging drum) on the bottom of the cartridge.

  His fingerprints on the imaging drum can cause print quality problems.
  4. If you see the scratches, fingerprints, black on the drum, or any other damage on the imaging drum, replace toner.
  5. If the imaging drum does not appear to be damaged, rock the toner cartridge gently several times and reinstall it. Print a few pages to see if the problem is resolved.
