  It is very strange behavior I've ever seen elsewhere.

  I opened a program that I have used before that works, after the replacement of some dll which is called.  I don't know if it's relevant, but just in case.

  It was apparently a transient state.  I arrived, open LabVIEW and the VI, and everything is fine now.  I don't know what that looks like, I am back and found a few nodes property overwrite values.  I promise you that I will not change anything.  I should have tried this yesterday, but it was the end of my day at that time and I had a place to be.

  Did you restart LabVIEW after you rename the file labview.ini?

  There is an option (Tools... options...... general façade... 'Open the editor control with double click').

  • Download the Audio driver from the Support page of the drivers of your computer for Windows 10

  Uninstall the driver from Device Manager > restart (or search the hardware changes) >

  Unplug your ethernet category 5 cable.

  Download the LAN driver from the link below and save it to your desktop.

  FTP://ftp.HP.com/pub/SoftPaq/sp46501-47000/sp46504.exe

  Then, in the Menu start, open the all programs, open accessories, right-click on command prompt and select "run as Administrator".  In at the prompt, type the following command and press ENTER.

  Let the entire process, then the output type and press ENTER.

  Now, right click on the installer you downloaded and select "Run as Administrator" to launch the installation.  When finished, restart the computer and try to connect the cable again.

  Thanks for your reply, but I doubt that flash player is related to do with Java.

  And the Java applet crashing in my browser, I guess, should not be linked to my graphics driver, especially since the only update that took place was an update of firefox.

  Well, on the off chance that it might help someone here - I found that my problem was related to my McAfee security software. I got a Dell Inspiron (Win XP SP3) who came with McAfee and I had kept the subscription updated. I knew that about when my problem of 'blocking of the system' has started and so I did a restore of the system from that date. Bingo, problem solved. I could get online again.

  However, after the system restore, I noted that my McAfee Security Center was no longer functional. When I reinstalled McAfee (via McAfee account identifier when you're connected via Wi - Fi), I found that the problem of returned system freeze.  I immediately uninstalled McAfee and found I could connect again without problem.

  That was the clincher for me. While I might have spent weeks haggling with McAfee that, I decided that it was not worth my time. I cancelled my subscription and got a security suite from 'black and yellow' guys and things have been fine since.

  It's a long shot, but I hope this helps someone.

  You have installed Windows XP Toshiba disk recovery or normal Microsoft installation disc?

  To be honest it is difficult to say why this is happening, but I think it's software related issue s. No one knows what programs you have probably is also a virus or a Trojan. If you install XP again, I recommend a good software like AntiVir antivirus or something else.

  Have you tried uninstalling the driver in Device Manager (click with the right button on computer > properties > Hardware tab > Device Manager), then reinstall the driver found on the website of manufacturers like here?

  You must wait a few minutes. On my laptop Satellite and Windows 7, I had the same problem. Windows will be reinstalled several times until the installation is complete and you will always see the same screen.
