  I'm using FsX and acceleration on Vista with no problems until I upgraded the operating system to Windows 7. It is then the acceleration requires a validation whenever FSX is called. Even worse, one 15 minutes playing, the validation dialog pops up again and demanded a new liquidation, but this time it froze the PC and the machine must be reset.

  I uninstalled and reinstalled the FsX + Acceleration twice - I even bought another copy of FsX Gold Edition + acceleration - still remained the same problems.

  What should I do? Help, please.

  Try running it in compatibility mode.
  Right click the executable program, then click on properties, then click on the Compatibility tab.
  Click here on run this program in compatibility mode for: and select the version of Windows, it was designed for.
  Another option is to test a selection, to run this program as an administrator . Click OK. test the game to see if it works properly.

  After the upgrade to Windows Vista Ultimate SP2 Windows 7, I couldn't FSX to load.  It would hang at the splash screen.  This has since been resolved and may have been a conflict between my card graphic and sound card and maybe even my webcam.  I then tried to reinstall FSX.  However, I decided to load up the Accerleration as before, but when I entered the activation code it says after trying that he could not get an answer to the server and to verify that I had an internet session active.  I did, but he always refused to activate.  So I uninstalled FSX acceleration and ran repair on FSX.  But now, he wants the activation code for FSX and when I write this so I always get the message that it cannot get a response from the server, please try again later or check that your internet connection is active.  I have the full internet connection, but doesn't understand why it won't save my activation codes.  I am limited to 30 minutes and cannot be installed acceleration as it wants the code for FSX.  I read on the forum that you can uninstall and reinstall on the same computer as many times you like then why used enable it?  It seems that he doesn't like my internet connection even though I am on the internet.  Anyone has any ideas. My pc is a Dell Inspiron 530 s with Nvidia 9400Gt card and card Soundblaster with 160 gb 1.66 ghz, 4gig ram and router Netgear WGR614 cable wireless

  Hi steve, I managed to install in the end.  I upgraded to a hard drive more that I wanted more space and copied the image to the new drive.  FSX is not yet accept the keys during the installation.  I ran the above utilities (see blog Amritas) to clear the license keys, empty temporary folders and change the registry entry by using 'regedit' on the command line, but still his wouldn't.  In the end, I installed and uninstalled three times until I finally installed it on a partition on the drive and he finally accepted the license keys.  This was done on the original admin user account that I had problems with from the start.  I have now it works.  The utility I used was KB928080 Microsoft.   I can only suggest you keep trying or partition of your hard drive and try and install on the new partition after erasing the license keys and temp folders (see above Amrita).  I can't guarantee that it works well.  To me it's a question of licenses i.e. acceleration has been uninstalled and reinstalled many times so it will no longer accept the license keys.  Happy installing! I don't know how is it frustrating.

  I bought 'FSX Gold edition' from a retailer which included FSX Deluxe (2 CD ROM) + FSX Acceleration Expansion Pack (1 CD ROM); the package was of course with the Microsoft seal unbroken. Inside the box of however, there was only a single activation code, saying clearly "FSX Deluxe.  FSX Deluxe activated perfectly, but I'm not able to activate FSX acceleration due to the absence of key I guess. I tried to use the same key as Deluxe, but it says it is invalid.

  I tried following the instructions of technical support, but they ask the number PI, that I wouldn't find anywhere in FSX Deluxe (which is already activated and good work) or FSX Acceleration (works only in mode activate later ).

  We could solve this here or should I go back to the retailer?

• Product key for my FSX Acceleration Expansion Pack does not work.

  I had to replace my hard drive. I then reinstalled FSX without problem, but when I tried to reinstall FSX Acceleration Expansion Pack product key will not activate the expansion Pack.  This is NOT an illegal FSX Acceleration Expansion pack.

  I installed Windows 7 RC1 x 64 and Deluxe FSX + acceleration.
  My graphics card is 9600GT and CPU DDR2 RAM(This is why I chose to use 64-bit Windows 7) E8400.4GB.
  At that time, I was playing FSX and everything worked well. But a few minutes later, when I clicked on an option in the context menu (or menu bar) FSX (like views, plane, display, etc.), FSX not responding and crashed on the desktop within 30 seconds. The error report, stated that a fatal error has occurred and FSX must be closed.
  This problem occurs when you use Vista SP1 x 64. I tried to reintall FSX and reset all settings, but... always do that.
  Someone knows how to fix this? I really love Windows 7, but I so love FSX.

  Thanks for asking!

  You cannot use FSX Acceleration and get light Simulator error could not load some program files and will now stop. Please reinstall Flight Simulator to restore or repair the installation of the program.

  I suggest you uninstall the main program, expansion and reinstall the program main, turn it on and run it, then reinstall it expansion yet.

  To uninstall:

  1. press the windows key to get the screen start and type appwiz.cpl and press enter

  2. search for the program and uninstall it.

• I lost my disk for the FSX Acceleration expansion pack, but retain the product code. Can I use a copy of it with just the product code?

  A few years back, I bought for FSX acceleration expansion pack, but (I'm not kidding) would you believe it, I left it on your shelf tipped in the earthquake of February a few years back (I live in Christchurch). If the drive broke, but the product code was still written on the broken case. So is there somewhere I can download the installation program and then enter my product to a valid installation code?

• FSX acceleration-problem of Activation of the reduction

  Hi, I just installed Flight Simulator X acceleration of the reduction, but whenever I start it I get this message.

  "We're sorry, an unexpected error has occurred which prevents the activation of product in the course of completion.
  ERROR CODE: 1-80004005 "

  It works very well, but after 30 minutes, it gets me out and then restart. Multiplayer mode does not work.

  Have you ever had fast activation opened upward, as on the first round?  Or did she simply never worked at all?  If not try the following:

  Press Start-> type regedit in the start search, and then press ENTER.  Raise when you are prompted.
  Make your way to the following key: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CURRENTCONTROLSET\CONTROL\CLASS\ {4D36E967-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318}
  Search what upperfilters listed under it and check its value if its 0 change to PartMgr and click OK on.

  If it worked, you should get the prompt to activate the next time you run FSX.

• Fsx acceleration activation

  I tried all the solutions that I can find on medium or in the community. However, the problem is still there.

  I bought the gold (deluxe + acceleration) version. And deluxe is allowed to install, activate, and play. But after that I installed the acceleration, it says that something prevents activation. I tried running it as admin, in functionality mode, reset the licenses, create new user account and uninstall - reinstall it n times (n > 3), which are described in KB 927007, 960481, 925723, 960480, 969886 928080.

  How to solve this problem? Y at - it a chat online and to determine what is my problem?

  And I heard that it is an activation tool to activate fsx separately to run fsx to do this.
