  Ive just bought a FUJI XT1 (Ver 3.00) and updated the firmware. I went hunting in RAW and unfortunately I can't import my new photos.

  In Lightroom (5.3) it is said that "Preview not available for this file.

  So I went to Adobe DNG Converter (8.7.1) and it does not recognize the files of the RAF.

  Any suggestions?

  If you're talking about the Fuji X - T1, then you must have at least 5.4 installed Lightroom. The DNG Converter should work. But I suspect that you didn't use it properly. The DNG Converter will prompt you for a FOLDER containing raw images. You must choose the folder, but not to open it. Then the DNG Converter is all raw images in this folder and will create copies DNG.

  If you talk about this model, you should be able to open the original raw images if you update to the latest version which is Lightroom 5.7.1.

  Just upgraded to LR6 with the hope that he could read the XT10 Fuji .raf RAW files.  It does not recognize the files.  Adobe told me I need to upgrade to 6.1, but does not have a link to.  Googling doesn't help, and Adobe doesn't let me call them... Any help?

• CS6 Bridge cannot read .cr2 and .raf files more

  Had serious problems with Bridge CS6. Apparently from one day to the next I can't open files .cr2 of a Canon 5 d Mark III or a x 100 Fuji .raf more. I tried updating, uninstalling and reinstalling, purge the cache, delete manually the cache by running the cleanup tool, of rest, preferences, but no luck. Here are the files I had read a few days ago. Nothing has changed.

  I finally got this resolved, with the help of my University computer SCIENCE people. He has reinstalled former vervion of Camera Raw and poof, all fixed. I guess that there is a conflict some with Mac, 10.6.8. and the most recent update of Adobe.

  If you have a version of Sillypix you can use for now that could be well until Adobe gets it act together. I've been a photoshop user since it began and it was not an issue with Raw files, until they released a small program called Rawshooter. The program was free until Adobe made out. Since then, almost all of the first has been controlled by Adobe. Nikon Capture is still ongoing, but that has problems if you change your operating system or upgrade that your machine and you end up having to buy a new piece of software after 3 activations. with Adobe at least just a phone call to get service even as your registration information are on their database.

  Unless you are willing to wait (and that could be some time) will not be supported for the current format of RAF vial for a few weeks or months. I know since when I bought the HS-10, and even then I had to buy a new version of Photoshop for the Raw plugin to work. I'm waiting now until all my devices have support until I purchase the new software because it is not certain that your current software will be included in an update of the plugin.   With this version of Photoshop, the latest version of Camera Raw, you can use is 6.7. If the update of your Photoshop or by subscribing to the creative cloud is not an option, you can then use the free DNG Converter provided by Adobe. The latest version of the DNG Converter is 8.7.1. I'm not familiar with the Mac OS, so I'm not sure if your OS is compatible with the latest version. You can download it and try it.

  I always shot in the raw files, but after seeing the quality jpeg out of my Fuji x - t1, that I decided to try the b & w jpeg quality of the camera.

  Shooting raw + fine LR5 download files, appear first as b & w, but converted to thumbnails in color and are labeled as raf + jpeg.

  How I see JPEG images separated from raw to fits files.   I produced usually b & w images from the files of the raf, but I would

  There is an option in Lightroom preferences to treat JPEG files next to raw as separate files files. Make sure that this option is selected and then Lightroom will import two formats.

  Since the plugin raw camera that your need (6.4) is not compatible with pse 8, you can use the 7.1 DNG Converter to convert your files into dng copies which will then open in pse 8.

• A RAW of Fuji XPro2 file does not open

  When you use the DNG Converter, you must point to a folder that contains files raw, and it will then create DNG that you can open in Photoshop or import into Lightroom. Your original raw files are not changed.

  Note that you cannot use the converter on single files. You must point to a folder, and all the raw in this folder files will be converted.
